When I first moved to stone hill. It was great. Before the pandemic, we've established a very strong bond ,both with the residents and stone hill staff.ive been here for about 5 or so years now. The pandemic changed a lot of things. And alot of great people here had moved on since. However greatness still exists. Even in the hearts of our stone hill staff. They still thrive to make do with what can be done. 3 great things about stone hill killeen that motivates me. Is 1. Just the little things .last year they did a trunk or treat which I got some awesome burgers n some good Ole candy for Halloween. And I think every once a while they use to grill some burgers n hot dogs. At least before the pandemic anyway. And what this does is basically brings out the joy of hard work n dedication to the community. 2. Can't argue with price range. Even with inflation making it difficult for us. Stone hill tries to make things work out for u. I think this has been a virtual quality that stone hill has to offer. Just trying to keep that price range affordable. And thirdly. Stability. We've had really good neighbors. Our stone hill staff is really trying guys. As a stone hill resident, I'm proud of all of our stone hill staff members. For providing us with a solid foundation. Nice dog park, swimming pool. And every thing is in arms reach.from ur local grocery store, medical care, auto care. Etc. And that's what make stone hill killeen apartments great!

Overall it’s not a bad place to live. I’m a single service member finishing out my last contract and needed a cheap place to live. This place was the cheapest place that I felt “safe” in Killeen. I have been here about a year and a half, place is decent..I live in one of the units that hasn’t been renovated yet..nothing fancy, I wouldn’t say wow this is a nice place but it gets me by..think of a hotel room with a kitchen and a living room. My only complaints is that during the winter the pipes freeze often, seems to have older plumbing, so the water gets turned off frequently. I’ve never had any complaints with maintenance, had my ac unit go out twice..both times they had it fixed within a few hours, guy seemed super friendly. One time I saw a few bugs, that I thought were roaches, I just bought a few bait traps and never saw them again, I think pest control sprays once every couple of months, but I think you have to be home to let them inside. Neighbors seem to be friendly, mostly military I would say. There has been a few fires to units since I have been here, kinda scary but I’ve never been personally affected. Not really the type of place I would want to raise a family, no parks or places for kids to play and I would be affraid they would get run over, traffic usually comes through rather quickly. The complex just installed new lighting around the buildings so I would say that’s a good thing, it’s lit up rather well at night now. Laundry room is so so, a lot of the machines stay broken for weeks, but it’s functional. All of my interactions with the staff, they have been super friendly and made being able to move in super easy. I would say if your single and need a place quickly and cheap and for a short time this is it. If you’re looking for long term and have a family, I would look somewhere else. I’m satisfied…I’d give this place an okay rating.

The property has had no water for 4 days. Keep that in mind before you rent here. Maintenance is a nightmare.
From the first day we moved in, we have been asking them to repair the bathroom and kitchen that was not fixed earlier. It has been more than a month now they still won’t fixed it but say will fix it every time we call
I am not satisfied with the management at all. I have a very loud neighbor that although has been cited by the Killeen police for a noise violation the management has done at least as I can tell done next to nothing. I am extremely upset and will try to get a legal remedy to this if it continues. However, this has been going on since I arrived in late February. On a another note, it took me being very upset about the maintenance taking so long to turn on my water heater after water was restored. This should only take a max of 24 hours but they took two to 3 days! I am completely dissatisfied and want to move out!!!
I called and Cassidy was VERY professional and guided me throughout the entire process! It’s my first apartment with my husband and she was so awesome in the phone ! Even with my million paranoid questions on how to do things, she was just so helpful and I really appreciate it! Glad I’m Moving in really soon!
I have been here about a year now and I love it. Staff is nice and the community is always clean.
The lady I spoke to on the phone about their availability was very unprofessional with answering my questions and when I determined that this place was not a good fit for what I needed in an apartment, I said "Ok, thanks" but she had the guts to scoff before saying good bye on the phone.
Bad maintenance. The dirty halls! Rude staff especially the supposed manager! They deliver dirty and damaged apartments and do not fix the damages. Worst!!! Do not move here!

I was Scheduled to fly to KILLEEN and met these wonderful people. Our flight was cancelled till the following day and instead of having to stay at the airport they let me ride with them back in a rental. This is far above customer service than I have ever experienced. I has to be the same at there apartments.

The ladies in the office are amazing! My husband and I came in recently looking for a place and we needed something quickly. We worked with Courtney, she was able to make our move in seamless and stressfree! We had just been pcsed here and were staying in a hotel. She was able to get us moved in that day! The apartments are older so she is obviously going to show but the apartment smelled fresh and looked nice. For what you pay the apartment is nice. And you can’t beat awesome leasing staff.

Ever since me and my family have moved in here, it's been nothing but a maintenance nightmare. Never have I ever experienced this type of unsanitary, unprofessional , inconsiderate type of service as I have experienced here at these apartments. Be warned if you don't want to get sick or your kids get sick and you don't want a high stress level experience with living conditions, I advise you to look elsewhere for a better life. Emergency work orders do not exist here, no one has ever shown up when I called or left a message. I have had to move from one unit to another because of A/C problems the first time around. And when I moved into what I thought was a better apartment was even worse. My ceiling has a leak and it's been over two months since anything was even done. The water is contaminated and stinks really bad and makes your clothes, and towels stink too. We had to order a drinking water service just so we didn't have to get sick. There are roaches and ant problems as well, and we have had to make work orders for the garbage disposal problems, and even had to beg to get a new stove because the maintenance man was too lazy to fix it right after three times that I put work order after work order in. The manager tried to make things better by reassuring us and apologizing like a million times, and even flat out lied about reimbursing us for the last four days of the month that we paid for, due to the A/C vents getting worked on. We are having to move because of continuous maintenance nightmares. Save yourself the hassle and don't waste your time or money on this place. We have done everything we could to be patient and be professional about not losing our minds here and getting out of line with the staff and maintenance workers. I would have rather lived in a homeless shelter that have had to experience this garbage in my lifetime. I'm very serious folks. Stay away from this place.
Worst experiences of my life. They have the most ridiculous rules I have ever heard of and charge outrageously for everything. These people are just money hungry and rude. I cannot wait for my lease to end and get out of here.
When my husband and I relocated from Georgia we were initially staying with my mother until we got on our feet. Needless to say after a few months ANYTHING was looking good. The leasing agent we found was friendly and helpful. I was interested in a two bedroom/one bathroom property on a different side of town but once she got to know us and what we needed she showed us this property which was perfect in location and price. Our apartment is in the perfect location roughly 8 to 10 minutes from both our jobs, the grocery store, our church, shopping centers and entertainment. Its in an older neighborhood which is good because most of our neighbors are older, established couples and there is not much late night activity. Unlike other apartments we viewed this one is spacious and comfortable. We turned the second bedroom into my husband's game room/guestroom.The functionality of the space allows us to entertain our family and friends without everyone being cramped. So now we can enjoy VISITS with my mother and everyone is happy.
