Property Ratings at Stoneleigh Apartments
Unfortunately my son lives at these apartments, toilet has been broken in his unit on several different occasions. Management response is to give him a key to an old unit to use the bathroom. So leave your apartment whenever you have to use the bathroom. He requested to move to another unit the request was denied. So he has to live with their shoddy repairs, and the use the bathroom in a different apartment. Note, toilet has been “repaired” several times. I would not recommend anyone living here because obviously management does not care about the quality of life for their tenants!

We understand your son's frustration with the bathroom situation. We are doing our best to get to the bottom of the issue. Unfortunately in a shared building others in the building flush things that are not meant to be flushed and this does cause backups. We have always responded and repaired the clog the same day it is reported. Please feel free to talk with us at the office if you have questions or concerns.
We've been here going on 2 yrs and we have not one complaint! The management takes care of all work orders and concerns faster than I have ever experienced. Angela and Kely are amazing, they truly care about their residents and their well beings. The pool, fitness area and laundry room are always clean and inviting. Neighbors are quiet and friendly, parking is easily obtained close to your front door and I have yet to see even one possum. Close by H-E-B and shopping centers make it easy to run errands! This place rocks!
Beware please do not move here, save your money because these apartments are old, full of nasty roaches , and snails everywhere , just nasty.. we just had a newborn baby took him to hospital because he wasn't feeling very great he had upper respiratory problems due to MOLD INTO our apartment .immediately called apartments asked to please resolve issue , they said yes, later that day we go to apartment they threw spray paint over vents to resolve MOLD ISSUE not the brightest idea after we explained we just had a newborn baby, it's very dangerous, the smell was horrible. I know you don't care about our child but be a little Pro cautious about our child what if it was child in danger? Since these apartments are not going to fix this issue we will be calling the health inspectors and news station because this is so sad that I have to go this far because they don't care about my child's HEALTH. Oh and for the guy in the office PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STOP BEING STUPID I CALLED THE OFFICE ABOUT MY COMPLAINT BEING NICE HE TOLD PROPERTY MANAGER I WAS BEING RUDE. Over achiever over exaggerating guy. In results to not being able to fix this issue because it smelt like spray paint in our apartment we had to rent a hotel , oh and a month ago our truck got broken into , along with many others here, office don't care all they care about is smoking outside , Angela and property manager didn't do anything. this is not a proper safe environment for our children here. My 5 year child had mold on her toy. This is sad I wouldn't want anybody else to go through this , especially a newborn baby so please , stay away no wonder why they let you move in here for cheap. I will be contacting the news and health asap. Thanks for reading!
I lived there for a year and would have resigned but they were going to raise the rent from $675 to $740 for my 1 bedroom apartment. Decided for $740 I could pay a little more and find something better. The complex itself is quiet and I've never had any safety concerns, but I did have a very loud neighbor move in above me that had caused serval problems after she moved in, but you can't really control who you get as your neighbor unfortunately. The reason I only gave it 3 stars was because of the quality of the apartment itself, the cabinets are so cheap, the counter tops had paint stains all over them since day 1 of moving in, (they said that someone would take care of it before I moved in, that never happened) there's paint stains on the fireplace and the bathroom cabinets, the shower was old and the drain plug was broken off, the back shed area door on the patio would always pop open and the back patio wood had peeling paint and rotting wood, and the light fixture outside my door was practically falling off. The other bad thing was there's no fans so it gets really hot and stuffy in the bedroom. If your not looking for anything upscale, just something safe and cheap I'd rent here, but if your looking for something nice, look elsewhere. Good luck apartment hunting! :)
I've been here for about three months and I must say that Stoneleigh Apartments far exceeds my expectations. From the amazing office staff (wherein the same manager has been here for 20 years!)to the pleasant tenants to the peaceful community, I couldn't ask for a better community to live at. Being within 5 minutes to supermarkets, shopping centers and restaurants, makes living here an added plus. Overall, I would highly recommend Stoneleigh Apartments to anyone looking to call San Antonio their home.
The rent prices here are perfect for wanting to save money to get back on your feet. Stoneleigh is perfectly placed you are within minutes of a grocery store, gas stations in either direction, fast-food restaurants, child care, elementary school and many other convenient stores. I love this complex it's quite and the ladies in the front office are very nice and understanding.
The staff here are great. They are there to help you in anyway they can and very friendly. I'm located in the middle of anything and everything and its affordable. They are pet friendly and always trying to improve the grounds.
Older apartments. One maintenance employee unprofessional lies and doesn't always finish work order. Can't keep good maintenance employees. I pick up trash left by other tenants on grounds because maintenance doesn't pick up. Roaches everywhere! ...crawl all over sidewalks and inside. Hire cheap labor to do outside maintenance and some work is still not finished after underground pipe fixed. Older lifting carpet and broken blinds, dirty bathroom when I moved into my apartment. Also, the lazy maintenance rep told me they only spot paint to prep apartment and I had no light covers on my rusty dining room light fixture, cabinets have paint and scratched up and broken tiles in shower and missing grout on some inside tiles if shower. Overpriced in consideration maintenance and lack of prep for move in.
Wow !! This complex is so quiet I thought I was the only tenant living here. The office staff is always friendly and helpful as are the other residents that I have met. Pet owners seem to always pick up after their pets. Pool area is very nice as well as the surrounding landscape. So what are you waiting for ? This is the place to be !
