Let me start off by saying, Kevin was absolutely amazing and very helpful. Kim was also helpful when asking any questions, the maintenance team weren't the "detail oriented" type but they completed the service requests. My issue with the complex is when moving out and leaving the apartment in "perfect" condition (as told by the office), I still did not receive my deposit back. Just be sure to realize, when you pay your deposit you will not get it back no matter what condition you leave your apartment in. There will be some "reason" and unfortunately that knocks my review from 5 stars to 3.
I absolutely love living here. The staff is always so polite and helpful. They care so much. The landscaping and pool are beautiful. My apartment is a great size with huge bathrooms and an amazing laundry room. The fact that they're pet friendly really sold me on moving here. I would definitely recommend this complex to my friends and family. And lastly, my service requests are always completed quickly. I feel like as soon as I put it in they're knocking on my door. 5 stars for sure!

I moved here December 2020 and so thankful I chose Stoneleigh. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and quick to respond to emails and calls. The maintenance staff are very quick and efficient as well. It’s a great place to live where you don’t get a crime notice every day like some apartments in Beaumont. The rooms are spacious and clean, and everybody keeps the surroundings clean. I would recommend Stoneleigh to anybody.

I think the people upstairs are riding bicycles all day and night. Here less than a week and still no working dryer with no timeframe on when it’ll be fixed. For the amount of rent counter tops being laminate are crazy. Maybe I’ll update if things change but maybe you should look elsewhere. I was told about the dryer- there’s so many work worders I don’t know when they’ll get to it. This with a wet load of clothes in the dryer.....

I have loved living here. No real issues. Unfortunately due to Covid my job is moving me to another area. I have only lived here for 8 months & unfortunately I hv to break my lease & be charged $2400. If you work for the government & relocate due to work, move to a more flexible complex

Water pressure is so awful you can only shower at certain times of the day and even then it barely comes out.
We moved in feb 2017 and renewed our lease again on feb 2018. The apartments are wonderful at keeping the grounds clean and keeping up with the valet trash. They come and spray every quarter and we have never even had a single issue with bugs. The staff was very good at keeping us informed and checking on us during Harvey. We couldn’t have had a better experience. Highly recommend!
Live here for 4 years now. Over these 4 years the ownership changed about 3 or 4 times. And not for the better. At this moment it's not a management but more like an administration. Making sure you pay you rent and utilities (shared). they are very inventive creating additional costs for the renters. Valet trash is one of them. You can leave your trash in a special trashcan in front of your door, During the night they pick it up and bring it to one of the containers. In my block nobody uses it. we are maybe 100 feet away from the container. So I guess that everyone trows is own trash bag in the container. Before I moved in 4 years ago I looked at other apartments but when I met the management at that time, I knew where I wanted to live. It would not be the case if I was looking for an apartment today. If you are a no nonsens person, you don't care that the staff is only business, you like slamming doors, trash next the container instead of in it, loud people on the pool and from outside the complex on hot days ....than this is the place to be. Most of all, the management abbandened the place during the hurricane and are not to be find a week after while 60% of the resident are still here even without power and water. I can totally understand that they also live somewhere and had to that care of their homes and family. But the owners could organize something right? Get water out her, food, support your residents and show that you care. For the record.....the left a note that there will no late fee until September 15th....nice of them. Ow, we are also allowed to use the pool water to flush the toilet. 2 stars is fair....
The units themselves are spacious, the complex is quiet, and it's in a good location near lots of amenities. It's a bit overpriced, but my biggest problem was the bugs. Spiders, beetles, silverfish, and millipedes to name a few. And this is just what I've seen in my apartment within the first two weeks of moving in. It's clear the there is very little, if any, pest control.
I love the attention given to the residents by the staff, no matter what hour of the night there is always someone to help with emergency maintenance. I also love the fact that the apartments are clean and also the grounds and it is very quiet. The other thing I enjoy is the updated apartments and the amenities and cummunity events held all year round for residents.
I have lived at Stoneliegh apts. for a few months now, and love it here. The management team is very kind, and take care of any issue that arises immediately. They know all the renters by name, and the apts. are nice. I just signed a new 1 year lease, and to win this contest would greatly help me for I am newly divorced, and will be attending college to complete my degree. The location is great but when you look at all the cons, it's not worth the money or frustrations. The Applicances are cheap- washers tear clothes and dishwashers don't wash dishes very well despite my insistence to wash them them by hand prior to putting them in. The pool area is constantly overrun by screaming kids or non residents which The apartment staff try changing the pool pin codes but this does nothing. Parking can be a hassle. Staff is rude and inconsistent. Also we were watching my sisters dog for less than a week and they charged us 100 when they saw him! We called and explained but they didn't care which is even more frustrating considering another residents dog attacked another resident here and yet they penalize us for watching a dog for less than a week and the dog is 10 pounds and non threatening/very gentle. This apartment is terrible!
This complex is in a good location. It has a great drive-up appeal and shows great. I felt mostly safe there. I had a poolside apartment. There were definitely tons of people at the pool who did not belong there though. There was a lot of noise, which is to be expected coming from the pool, however; I rarely heard the neighbors. We just didn't use the pool since it was overcrowded by non-residents. The staff actually admitted to this and said they were working on the issue. The problem never ceased. Roaches, spiders, & silverfish are not a daily occurrence but are common enough. The office staff simply reminded me when the exterminator is due back to treat the apartment. They also stated that I must have brought the roaches in. They are commonly brought in by "your" shopping bags and boxes. They said no one else complains about the pests. I'm very unhappy with the staff. I quit communicating with them because they are grumpy, rude, & unprofessional. Don't expect smiles when you walk in, especially once you become a resident. I was kind of afraid of them. A lot of the exercise equipment were broken the whole year I stayed there. Staff wouldn't do anything about it. The staff, especially the manager don't care about its residents. Our move out experience was quite poor. You will not get your deposit back. We left the apartment in great shape. We hired a cleaning lady to clean before move out. She did a good job. I turned in the key to one of the staff. The manager saw this from her office. I could see her putting her combat boots on and asked if I want to do a walk through with her. The way she did this, I knew I was going to have problem. I rarely interacted with her in the past, so there was no personal reason why she treated me the way she did. #She had always felt unapproachable, along with the rest of the staff#. There were scuff marks on the walls, and several small holes from our picture hanging nails. The carpet was immaculate. We have no pets and we don't wear shoes in the house. I did leave a welcome mat that I forgot on patio. I picked it up and brought it with me. There was nothing that wasn't minor wear and tear. The manager insisted that normal wear & tear is not acceptable. With just some minimal touch up paint, the apartment would have been move in ready.
I've stayed at these apartments for awhile and all I am going to say is that the staff members are truly messy I will not recommend anyone to stay here.
I lived at Stoneleigh on Major for 15 months. It is located in a great area (for Beaumont)- near the mall, grocery stores, and near many restaurants. The office staff were extremely nice and were always willing to help. Lori York is awesome! The grounds were always kept clean and the property was relatively safe. The apartment units were modern and clean! Maintenance was always swift-- I did not need them very often because the property was fairly new and did not really require additional services. The complex was fairly quiet, not many children or loud music playing. Cons: -Extremely small on-site gym - The pool is very small, during summer it stays crowded. -Parking can be an issue due to limited space. Overall, Stoneleigh is a wonderful place to stay.
My family & I have live here for a year now, and all I can say is WOW!!! The office staff are friendly & knowledgeable. I haven't had any issues----period!!! This is truly a family atmosphere. I can see my family living here for many years to come!!!!
