I moved from out of state and was told about Stoneleigh from a friend that already stays here. She highly recommended this place as she has lived here for 2 years. I am so glad I decided to move forward with my move as my experience has been nothing short of perfect. I moved from Idaho so leased without seeing my actual apartment home but my leasing agent, Dina was extremely helpful in sending me photos and details about the apartment I would be moving to. I have lived here almost 4 months now and still happy with my stay. The entire leasing office staff that I have met so far have been friendly and patient with my hundreds of questions since I am new to the area. I have not had any maintenance issues yet, but I can say I am always seeing them on property working hard, which prompted me to leave a review cause this Texas heat is no joke. I hope this is sent to them as I feel not enough people leave good reviews when we are happy only when upset or inconvenienced. Thank you, Stoneleigh, for making me feel right at home! Samii

I moved to Texas from out of state for work but due to the pandemic ended up working from my apartment at Stoneleigh on Spring Creek. The grounds are well maintained, the office staff are friendly, the maintenance folks help when needed, the neighbors are friendly and quiet, and the complex is located near multiple shopping, takeout, gas station, doctor, and banking options. Stoneleigh makes living in Garland convenient. I also like that residents can have packages delivered to an Amazon-style, automated locker so that Microsoft Teams meetings don't have to be interrupted to answer the door for deliveries. I found the price of the apartment to be a great deal considering the size of the unit (one of the larger ones I found when I looked) and its location -- both to the businesses I mentioned and to my work (which, I ended up not going to even once). I moved to Arizona after my lease ended to help my parents with some health-related issues while my job is still classified as remote but, when I get called back to the office, my first stop will be at Stoneleigh on Spring Creek.
The complex is beautiful, floor plans are spacious, and neighbors are quiet. Every concrete surface (parking lot, side walk and even balconies up to the 3rd floor) are INFESTED with ants. Management will do nothing about it no matter how many times you ask , they come to spray the inside of your apartment, WHICH HAS NO ANTS. They also have NO REGARD for your pets lives or your time. If you try to schedule something (7 days ahead of time) with maintenance in your apartment, they don't answer or call that day is scheduled for. They come the next day when you're not home (or think you're not home). This has put my dogs life in danger due to the work they did causing my dog to breathe toxic fumes for who knows how long. I had taken my dog to work on the scheduled day to avoid this. I was unaware that they would just come in with my dog home knowing the chemicals they are using are toxic. Luckily, my dog didn't get sick otherwise we'd have a HUGE lawsuit on our hands.
Felt very offended when speaking with the employee Shay at the property. Wouldn't recommend anyone to live her mainly because I wouldn't want them to feel the way I felt today.
There were no recent reviews for Stoneleigh so I thought I would add an updated one. I am a current resident and when it comes to customer service and timeliness, the staff are wonderful. Israela especially is so sweet and kind! I have not had many problems since living here but when I did, the work order was put in and fixed quickly (in my case a incessant beeping fire alarm needing new batteries - so nothing serious but still). The only thing I am concerned about are the price increases because of the MANY new competing complexes in the area. The only downfalls of Stoneleigh in this case are the abundant white appliances which are not on par with the area competition but the prices are still climbing to match.
The apartment grounds are kept up well and the area does always look nice. But, the apartments themselves are not held up well, the management is no help what so ever and isn't willing to work with you when there is an issue with the apartment. We had mold issues, issues with people slashing our tires(8 in the year we lived there) and also had issues with not getting return calls/emails/or portal responses. The maintenance people are fabulous and are always helpful, though. It is close to lots of shopping but I wouldn't waste my time or money unless it's for a short period of time
Very nice apartment. My apartment is HUGE compared to what I pay. Its only 10 years old so its very new and luxurious. there are 4 amazing huge pools, that has chairs, tables, restrooms and grills available. Valet trash is a PLUS especially when you live on the third floor. Neighbors are more mature so rarely do I have to complain about any obnoxious things younger renters do. it feels amazing to go out at midnight for a dip in the pool. It is located in the most perfect area in Garland. It is across the street from Walmart, target, all the major banks, lifetime fitness, academy, Hawaiian falls, many restaurants, and 3 minute drive to the nearest highschool, middle school, and elementary school. I don't even drive to pick up groceries or run to the bank any more because it is that close. I love this place. The only downside is that it is 30 min from downtown.
Stoneleigh is a great community. The staff is great and quick response to any request that we have. It is close to so much with shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Complex is kept supper clean and with three pools as well as a workout room, there is plenty of space. It has bus stops right outside the gates if that is your chosen mode. of transportation.
Awesome landscaping and the front desk is super nice and helpful
My husband and I hurriedly move out this way due to his job, these seemed to be very well kept apartments, but we soon found out that wasn't the case. The grounds are maintained very nicely, but the individual apartments are not, we've had issues with mold, paint peeling, pest control and issues with management. They do not handle the root of the issue, they just cover it (like the mold, it was painted over expecting us to not notice). Pest control doesn't spray the entire apartment, and the management doesn't return phone calls or emails unless you say you're going to have your attorney contact them. It's been a rough year and we are FINALLY able to move. I would not recommend if you have young children, solely for college or single adults, the hassle isn't worth the benefits of living close to shopping.
The apartment complex it's self is very nice with tons of adminities. But the apartments could be taken care of better. They just paint over problems and don't really fix the issues you have. If you need something for a short period of time this place will work.
We moved into stoneleigh on spring creek and they are by far the most affordable and nicest apartments around! When you move in you can decide between a 500 fully refundable deposit or a one time fee if 87.50 it helps when on a budget!
