Property Ratings at Stoneridge on the 8
I toured with Ashley a month ago and had an amazing experience. She was quick with answering my questions and was very sweet. The community is very lovely and upkept. Leasing office was beautiful and they seem to have events every month as well.
Horrible new management, unprofessional. There are always burglary in the complex, no camera , no security. My front apartment got robbed twice in last one year, car glass broken, wheels has been stolen middle of the night. I have to install camera, alarm system to keep my unit safe. Maintenance is horrible. Roof has been leaking in several places for 1.5 years, complained several times, never got fixed. There is always smoking weed smell in the front yard. Dog poops everywhere. Try to move out when my lease is up, still they are charging me the reletting fees. Horrible experience. Stay out of this place. It’s getting worse day by day.
We have had problems since day 1! There is trash EVERYWHERE, dirty diapers, used toilet paper, fast food sauce, bags and napkins all over the place. And if you get “lucky” you’ll have neighbors who leave their trash out for multiple days so the stray cats dig through it and spread it throughout the breezeway. If you have termites and ants in you’re unit, maintenance puts forth so much effort to get rid of the infestation by giving you a sticky trap and say “if you see anything, just stick it on here.” The walls and floor are so thin that you can hear just about everything each neighbor is doing! Let’s not forget that if you want to walk around the unit with your pets or children, odds are, you’ll be approached by strange people, (Luckily I had my dog with me and one man I was being followed by took off once he saw her) AND there’s cars that speed through the driveways so if your kid wants to enjoy a bike ride.... better give it a second thought. At least they have a nice pool!... if only they’ll allow residents to enjoy it! Even during the summer! So if you’d like to enjoy what I’ve had to go through, this very well might be your place to call home!
I moved in a couple months ago and it was the worst decision I’ve ever made! I absolutely hate it here...They don’t keep these apartments complex up. It’s spiders and bugs everywhere the gate is still broken to allow whom ever to come in and out whenever they please... The Apartment building itself is built poorly! The floors and walls are super thin that you can hear the people above you walking loudly all day. It’s like they are stomping when they walk.. if they have kids who run all day they claim that it’s nothing they can do, so you’re just out of luck! I get no peace in my own home! I don’t understand how this place has the ratings and reviews it does because this is a terrible place to live. If you are desperate for a place to stay go for it but if you can go somewhere else please do. We will not be staying here another year.
After a huge hassle just moving in, having to communicate with multiple seperate leasing agents that didn't communicate with each other, or didn't keep legible notes on each applicant, the apartment we moved into was infested with cockroaches,the fridge was a dirty mess, the walls had dents and the outside patio had scorch marks that they never bothered to clean up. After going out of our way for several weeks we managed to eliminate the cockroach problem, unfortunately, now that winter has ended we've had a huge problem with gnats/drain flies. We've gone out of our way to eliminate all sources of the bugs, keeping everything clean, flushing drains with bleach, hiring pest control on a regular schedule, keeping food out of the open, but we still have a persistent problem. Meanwhile our neighbors have their trash out at all hours of the day, including days where trash services do not come. Having complained to management all they've done is set *us* up for my pest control, they don't care about the issues we've brought up or actual mitigation options. My greatest problem with these apartments has been management/office staff. My communications with the assistant manager have been the most productive and I applaud him for the effort he puts in. The rest of the staff has been abysmal. Maintenance personnel are always courteous and, usually, prompt whenever an issue is raised including responding to a smoke detector they heard from the street. The apartments themselves are very well made, though I fear there isn't very much care put into them after a tenant has moved out, and the plumbing may have degraded since construction. For better or worse, it seems tenants are left to their own devices and there doesn't seem to be much action in keeping the units themselves protected and upkept from tenants.
I've lived here for 4 years now and have really enjoyed it. The staff is very professional and friendly. They are always eager to help you. If something is wrong, like a maintenance issue, that is taken care of quickly. The grounds are kept up neatly and it has nice well kept pools, weight rooms and two clubhouses in the complex. Another good thing about this complex that I like is the convenience to stores and the Interstates. I am able to leave the building and be on my way in minutes!
Friendly staff secure location clean property and nice apartment
I have lived at Stone Park for 3 yrs. so far and have no major complaints and have had no major problems with my apt., nor the complex, nor the neighbors. The apartments are nice (it's like two complexes in one because they have two of everything, two pools, two fitness centers). The amenities are nice, the staff are nice, upkeep is done regularly and maintenance requests (I've only had 2 in 3 yrs.) were addressed within a day. You aren't locked in to services from one specific company and the utilities don't run high in my opinion compared to other places. The are a mixture of all types of families from those with young children, to college kids, to singles, to seniors as well. You can buy anything within a 3 mile radius from groceries, to clothing,to getting your car repaired, to eating out. It's the perfect spot for a little bit of everything.

I have lived at Broadstone Stone Park Apartments for 7 months. Overall I have enjoyed being a resident of the complex. The conveienent location and the nice appearance of the complex is what caught my attention. They have a nice pool area and gym that I use on a regular basis. The residents are all very friendly and it really makes it feel like home. My only issue with the complex thus far is the staff's follow through. For the most part I don't really have to visit the office for anything because I am able to do most of everything such as pay rent and put in work orders online if necessary. However there have been a couple of times that I have had to visit the office due to something not being done when they said it would get done. I have also called to ask a question before and when told I would be called back with an answer, I was never called. Other than that, I have been really pleased with my choice to live here.
These apartments have been very accommodating even before I officially moved in. There was a problem with the previous tenants of my soon-to-be home (they refused to leave!) which would mean I wouldn't be able to move in on the original move-in date. The office called asap and offered an even bigger apartment, promising me the same rent and move-in date! Not to mention this community has all the amenities and more that I required for my home community to have.
