Property Ratings at Stones River Apartments
i thought this place was going to at least be decent by the way it looked. the dog bark was a nice treat to have to run my dog, but up until so many people had their dogs off leash. everyday i saw someone doing it and they didn't even have well trained animals. i cant tell you have many times i almost hit dogs running into the road. the office did almost nothing about it. they put a flyer out, but nothing to actually stop it. i constantly had to worry to take my dog out during the day. don't live here. they may accept pets, but they don't care about them.
do not stay here, my apartment flooded my first month here. the seal around the door was so bad and when it rained really hard, the water would come from around the door. they hard to bring a bunch of fans in to my place for it to dry out and then tried to charge me when i moved out. DO NOT RENT HERE.
I had air conditioning issues for over 3 years living there. They had done maintenance on my unit at least 12 times over the time I was there. Even on the day that I moved in it was extremely hot in the unit and was told by the maintenance man David that since we were opening the door too much is why it was over 80 degrees in there. Being a new renter I left it at that. As it cooled down it wasn't so much of an issue until the next summer. My electric bill averaged $150 in the unit except for in the summertime which would hit $200 to almost $300.
I stayed here for only 6 months and during that time the maintenance team could barely change a light bulb. the office staff was nice until i have a few issues. they acted like they could not be bothered by the time i moved out.
It is gated. All units are ground floor. All have patios on which I can have a grill. The only thing that would make it excellent would be a modern kitchen.
