Property Ratings at Stoneside Apartments
I've been happy with my apartment so far. My neighbors are pretty friendly and the place is quiet. I like that there is a place to take my dog out that is off the street. I love all the closet space. So far so good!
Rent is cheap, but the thing is they will show you a renovated apartment (new bathroom, new floors/carpet), and then when you move in it won't be like the "model" you saw. Bathroom was outdated and sort of dirty, kitchen was outdated with an oven where the light doesn't work and bottom panel falling off (still never got fixed). Maintenance takes forever to get anything done. I had an issue with replacing a couple things in the apartment and it would take a week to get done. My AC was out in the summer twice, and it just took forever to fix. I ended up not living at my apartment but at a friend's because it was so hot. It was ridiculous that I couldn't live at my own apartment because the AC wasn't getting fixed. Now that its starting to get cold I started noticing a bunch of bugs, so make sure you get put on the list for pest control. I guess that's what you get for the price. It's not even worth it to break a lease since it's almost up. If you want a cheap apartment and a lot of space and its not too bad if you can live with slow maintenance and bugs. Oh, make sure you look at the actual apartment you are moving into before signing the lease so you know what you're actually getting. I was moving in from out of state so I wasn't able to.
I love my apartment. It's really big and has plenty of room for all my stuff. The complex and neighborhood is very quiet.
DO NOT EVER rent here! The worst maintenence I have ever had. Sitting in an apartment that is 95 degrees right now. The management does not consider this an emergency! Maintenance always Band-Aids the problem and never fixes it! They would definitely consider it an emergency if it was them sitting in here! They say put a fan out... ha, what good is that when it's blowing around hot air! They sure get their rent on time though that is if they don't lose it!
The apartments are large, but nothing ever gets done. There is not even a maintenance man. Management doesn't respond. The apartment was not even clean when we moved in. We have had multiple issues that never get fixed.
