Three small, upper-middle-class neighborhoods, Middletown, Woodland Hills and Douglass Hills, and Anchorage, an upper-class community, make up the Outer East End of Louisville. Each community features a mixture of newer, more elaborate homes that mingle nicely with some of the historic architecture in the area. However, the homes in Anchorage remain the most elaborate in the area. Wide-open, undeveloped areas provide residents with beautiful scenic views, and nearby access to U.S. Route 60 and interstates 64 and 265 make the 18-mile commute into downtown Louisville simple.

Property Ratings at Stonewater Apartments
I had a good experience. The maintenance team was very helpful whenever there was a problem, they were available. Neighborhood was great, there was a problem with the potholes, but that got fixed quickly.
I appreciate how careful they are to take care of the pool and landscaping, and engage with the community. I am so grateful for flex payments and their generosity and patience, I do not take it for granted.
I have no complaints. I’m coming up on my second year at Stonewater Park. I hope I have many more years to come. The staff continues to be great and resilient.
Arium has a section of the rental contract which states you must pay an additional buy out fee beyond the 60 days notice. For us this fee was $2500. It is costing us 4 months rent to break the lease from the date we gave notice. A cost of just under $5000. We have lived in a number of apartment communities and have never encountered the additional buy out fee. This was not verbally disclosed. I recognize it’s buried in the contract and you will owe the fee regardless of your circumstances. We have move to another state for family health issues. We did not have the option of staying through the lease term.

Terrible place to live. To begin with, the front office staff are great before you actually sign a lease and then they turn rude and condescending for anything thereafter, especially Christie. Absolutely hate when anything arises that I need to talk to them about because they're literally no help at all. Their main mode of communication is by clipping up papers outside of your door and you may or may not get the information half the time. If you don't get the information and something goes wrong then they will refuse to do anything at all to help you and tell you to figure it out. The apartments themselves are rundown and if you have a maintenance issue it's hit or miss on if they'll actually fix it or not. I have had an awful smell in my kitchen since I moved in and have put in a maintenance request to fix whatever is causing it and they came in and looked and did nothing else and it still smells awful. I won't even use certain drawers/cabinets because the smell in those areas is just so bad. My apartment was dirty and filled with bugs when I first moved in and it took weeks to get them to do additional pest control and they still pop up constantly. If you aren't renting one of their overpriced "updated" apartments then don't expect anything like new carpet or flooring when you move in. The grounds themselves are not pleasing to the eye at all and getting in and out of parking areas is a nightmare due to the awful drop offs and holes everywhere. I seriously do not recommend anyone rent here if there are better options elsewhere. I have only been here since the end of April and I already cannot wait for my lease to end. If I had not been in such a time crunch when I was originally looking for somewhere to rent then I would have definitely found somewhere better.

Everybody was respectful, helpful, and very kind. They had very good COVID rules and I felt safe! Ms. AJ helped my girlfriend and I find our new apartment!
AJ was so nice and sweet with helping us. The apartment was so clean and spacious. It was very safe. The staff was very helpful
I love Stone Water apartments, it is so amazing and I am not lying to you guys. The new management is amazing, Miss K and the M. Crew are always there for you. Always! When I have a problem, They fix it that day or the next.. There's never a long wait. We have awesome newsletters every month, different months and new theme. For Christmas we had a decoration in our front yards and whoever won got gift cards (i won second place!!!), For this month, they had the children make valentines day cards. Its a great place for kids. It is very quiet. Every once and a while you may hear dogs but nothing bad whatsoever. The one bed room apartments have HUGE bedrooms and its a great space to live. Miss K is the sweetest women ever and the crew are all nice guys that are ready to help. Honestly, they deserve a party. If you are thinking about renting an apartment. You should rent here. It's place you can call home very easy. I love it here. You absolutely will too.

Hello! When I visited this community, everything was sooo awesome! I was so glad to stumble upon this hidden treasure. I will be looking forward to living in the community in the near future. All the office staff were just amazing. I could see one thing could be a downfall as far as location, but the positives defiantly out way the negatives. Thanks a bunch for the great management team. Anyone looking for a home should choose them.
