Property Ratings at Stoney Trace
this place is awful leaks happen often lots of roaches they won't go away how many times you try everything can be easily broken clogged air WORST APARTMENT EVER!
This is perhaps the worst place I have worked with. Zero customer service, unethical practices. Example: they ripped off my temporary car plate and had my car towed. Towing company owned by mgmt company. Mail would be stolen, water leaking in apartment, front door of my building never locked in the year I was there. Staff do not work to resolve any issues with clients. They just don't care so as a result they give crappy service to their clients. I've never seen anything like it. They have no morals, no customer service skills, no business sense, and zero desire to improve anything. I"m glad I am out and will never rent from this place again. I will also tell anyone within an earshot how bad this place is. Be afraid to live here... be very afraid...

I lived here for so long the apartments dont look like the pictures you dont get a pool the gym has very bad equipment everything is broken roaches come through the vents theres jumping spiders in the building hallways theres stray animals that go in and out of the buildings
The place should be condemned office staff and maintenance crew is a joke place is very dirty pool and front gate has not work in years there are constant fights and shootings on this property the police is always there. Maintenance never fix anything the place is infeasted with black mold and bedbugs
- Delayed a week off the bat. I was loaded up to move in & office said I couldn’t move in because of roaches. Got keys a couple days later. - Be prepared to go to office in person (difficult to reach). I’ve been in the office before and saw them just ignore phones. Work orders are done when they feel like doing them. - I was quoted reg. Apt price but had to pay for a “renovated” one, & was forced to use their washer/dryer, even though I had my own. - Most AC outlets were worn out/unsafe. Blew out my Xbox. Maintenance guy told me he was only willing to replace 6 of the 17 due to cost and time. NOT MY PROBLEM. Never returned to replace others as promised. - washer/dryer not pre-installed as promised. Took couple days. Ran first load of laundry, and my apartment flooded, because they didn’t connect drain hose. - Apt painted bad/no baseboards. There are no quarter-rounds/baseboards except bathrooms. Weird/cheap. - Painted bathtubs, instead of cleaning/replacing them. The paint peeled within first month. Annoying & gross. - No one respects leash laws here & people let their dogs run free. Almost no dog poop bag/trash cans, which discourages people from picking up poop. - pool never opened as promised, & indoor pool removed. I never swam last year. office’s said to use the West Mint pool. Not cool - they aren’t the same company. - The gate doesn’t work at all. It apparently never did months before either, just stays open -- advertised as gated. - trash poorly managed. regular drive-ins dump their trash, leaving no room for the us to dump ours. Could be solved with gate. - Just banned smoking cigarettes on grounds. So you can’t even smoke on your balcony. - The management also did away with multiple payments towards your rent, which makes it hard for some households to pay on time. - A tree was starting to fall after snow/ice storm early 2022. I reported to the office, nothing was done. After a couple weeks it fell. This was safety issue. fallen tree even stayed there for another month before removed. - When units vacated -- cabinetry, sinks, insulation, etc. get thrown out onto the lawn behind the buildings, where they remain for several days before they are discarded. - The office was being remodeled for months & USPS wouldnt deliver packages. Temp office didnt accept packages. Any packages delivered by UPS/Fedex/Amazon subject to theft. I had packages sent elsewhere. - Strong pot smell outside. - Homeless guy living in my building - police regularly here

Maintenance sucks I had no ac for months now I have a leak that has made my bathroom floor mold because they have neglected the issue for so long.
Floors are falling apart so are the walls. Roaches everywhere when we first moved in had to put down alot of traps and boric acid. Way too small no room for furniture. Cabinets broken, vents have never been cleaning very dusty and dirty. Holes in the wall behind appliances and in water closet. There is no trash removal trash is always in hallway. Grass bushes and parking lot a mess. Maintenance never comes on time. No one answers the phone in the office or they're at lunch for too long. They send your mail back with no email saying they have your package. Have to go up there all the time. Random people in the hall smoking weed near your door. Called about that they did nothing. Graffiti on the wall. Think I accidentally moved to NYC. Absolutely hate it. Overpriced and trashy. RUN.
I moved here in 2020. Dead bugs in the drawers. Loud neighbors. Always smells like weed. Can’t get anyone to respond to emails. Called about pest control days ago and still nothing. Do everything to get you to sign the lease and nothing after. Very unorganized
??I AM GIVING NO STARS, but in order to post I have to give one. Please allow me a moment to share the recent awful experience I had with Victoria Park Apartments managed by Milestone Management .I moved in last month on September 8th and on October 9th a woman (the mother of ONE the previous tenants, as there were 2) used her OLD key her daughter had given her a long time ago to walk into my apartment. Victoria Park DID NOT change the locks on my door prior to my moving in. I walked in on a STRANGER standing in my apartment looking around my living room. I CANNOT BEGIN TO EXPLAIN TO YOU what I felt in that moment!! Thankfully, I wasn’t killed or in turn harmed this lady for coming into my apartment! The strange lady and I walked to the office to inform them of what happened. Tamara, the assistance office manager was very helpful in getting maintenance to change the locks. I called corporate leaving an urgent message to call me back. Instead of calling me back per my request, they emailed Tamara to see why I was calling and then had her to call me to see if the locks were changed instead of them calling me like I asked them to. The next day I went to the office to get an email for corporate. Emailed them a lengthy email concerning what happened and how I felt and how I was displeased with not hearing from them and letting them know I would be speaking with my attorney. Within minutes, I received a call from Catherine the manager for Milestone Management apologizing for what happened. To make matters worse a total of 7 Mint Hill police officers came bamming on my door at 11pm looking for the previous tenant because they’re in trouble with the law. These are the kind of people thst had access to my place. There was ANOTHER tenant that moved in AFTER the family of the lady who walked into my house moved out. So not only was Victoria Park negligent once but they were negligent TWICE. Two sets of family were walking around with keys to my apartment!!! I am still furious!! If moving again was option for me, I would absolutely do so. I’ll be meeting with my lawyer when I get back in town and contacting the Better Business Bureau. I’ll also be calling action 9 and sharing my story with other media outlets as well. So if you want to reside at complex ran by a Management company that I feel truly does NOT care about the safety and well being of you and your family, by all means move to Victoria Park or any complex managed by Milestone Management.

Thank you for reviewing and bringing this unfortunate situation to our attention. In speaking with our onsite team and the Regional Manager, we understand that this situation has been resolved. Should you have any lingering questions or concerns, please contact us directly.
I would recommend installing second locks on the apartment doors, as a single deadbolt is not safe at all. The gates are spotty on when they are open and closed, and I have watched cars follow others through the gate without restriction. Please address the mailbox area - it is unacceptable to have mailboxes with no doors on them, allowing anyone to take someone's mail. The gym hours are the leasing office hours - and if you work into the late evening, forget about getting in a workout - you can't get in. Indoor pool is ice cold - I was hoping to be able to use the pool for some joint therapy, but it's too cold. Valet trash is nice, but residents not following the schedule coupled with spotty housekeeping in the buildings equals roaches and other bugs inside the apartments. Its affordable and convenient, but not a place I really want to stay for more than one lease term. Some of the staff is friendly, but the couple that are rude and terse do put a damper on my wanting to interact more with the office. I just feel like I am bothering them.

Hello, thank you for your five-star review about Victoria Park Apartment Homes. We are pleased to hear how happy you are with our 'fabulous' staff and community. Thank you for your recommendation!
went to mint hill PD asked for information about recent incidents at the address ...from 3/1/2016 to 6/7/2017 there 93 incidents ranging from B&E , Vehicle theft and damage , assault and shootings.... currently looking for another place to move to .
Moved in July 8 2015 only been here a month. So far everything is going well the staff here is really great. I would recommend this place to everyone. The grounds are well kept.
Victoria Parks apartments are reasonably priced and convenient to everything. It doesn't take a long time to get anywhere that we need to go. The only thing is that they really need to update everything to continue to have great tenants.
This place is affordable and wood recommend to see unoccupied room vs the show room
This area is always doing things to improve the grounds here...the staff is always there to see and to help with any special needs thats is to be taken care of...The maintance staff are great...we even know them by name..its a pleasure to be a tenant here..just renew my residence here again.
