Property Ratings at STONY POINTE
We moved in less than a year ago, but we're already planning on renewing our contract. The neighborhood is quiet and well maintained. Our neighbors are friendly and helpful. The sweet lady that cleans the buildings has offered to help me carry my groceries and trash several times. Our apartment is large, and we like the floor plan. We have a separate dining room, our own washer and dryer, nice walk in closet, and we love sitting out on our balcony. The fitness center is nice and kept clean. The grounds and hallways are well lit, and there is plenty of parking. Woody, the maintenance man, is really helpful, and always does a good job when we need something repaired. Jayne, the property manager, knows everyone by name, and always takes the time to say hello and ask if we need anything. She even fixed a sticky lock for me one day. Only negative is I can't pay rent on line, and have to pay by check at the office. Otherwise, we're very happy here.
They totally ripped me off. I cleaned my apartment spotless with the intention of getting my deposit back. The carpet was steam cleaned before i left and had zero stains. They still charged me for steam cleaning the carpets and other nonsense items that where not itemized. They took my entire deposit. Also, while i was living there. My washer broke on 2 seperate occasions. The 1st time it took 2.5 weeks to get fixed and the next time it took over a week. They did not compensate me for nothing. They said i would have to deal with the same issue if i owed a home. DONT LIVE THERE!!! THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE!!!!
I live with my daughter Brittany Horan (Caton). We've lived here since February 7th. This complex is very clean, quiet, and the neighbors are friendly. We're on 3rd floor w balcony. Close to restaurants and stores etc. We've never had any problems. I would recommend these apartments to anyone! The office manager also is a tenant and keeps us informed through flyers and monthly newsletter. I'm a retiree with limited income and health issues so winning this would be a blessing! Thank you
I am an 85 year old woman on a fixed income. My husband died several years ago and I needed to downsize as I could not afford to stay in my home and also care for the outside and general maintenance. I moved several places but then my friend helped me on the internet find Stony Point for me. I wanted to remain in Martinsburg, close to friends and my doctors. I am living in a first floor apartment and LOVE it. The building is well maintained,very safe and well lit. It has a home-like atmosphere and everyone in the building is helpful to me (neighbors helping neighbors).The apartment is close to many conveniences- shopping, gas, doctor, etc. and that makes it easy for me. The apartment itself is warm, inviting and elegant with all the necessities of home and space that my home had. I enjoy the patio and sitting out there greeting and conversing with my neighbors. I try to be the "Welcome Wagon" of the community.I was very lucky to find an apartment that offered all the qualities of a home without maintaining it myself.Beverley, the manager, has been helpful and sent me a letter about how nice I was as a tenant and helping others. I love all the various ages groups at the complex, as I consider myself a "youthful" 85 year old and attempt to remain very social with them. I have recommended this establishment to many people that are looking for an apartment or should I say "a home". I would love to win this prize and would represent your organization the best that I could!
Quiet and secure, with wonderful neighbors. A no-nonsense manager insures the high standards expected of the residents, and the maintenance of the property. Economical rates and utilities. Location is convenient to I-81, Frederick MD, Baltimore MD, DC, and Winchester VA. Close to hiking trails, historical sites, parks and farm markets.
Recently I returned to Martinsburg after apartment living in Washington DC. I am very fortunate to have found Stony Pointe apartments. A property like this doesn't just happen. It requires good corporate planning and excellent property management. Our property manager assures that all maintenance and any other issues are handled promptly. Tenants receive an informative monthly newsletter The grounds receive lawn service and kept very clean. We are shown consideration by always being notified of any scheduled routine testing or maintenance I feel so at home and safe living in my Stony Pointe apartment

This is a wonderful community. Your neighbors lookout for you and are very friendly. The apartments are kept clean and the manger Beverly is magnificently helpful and professional.
My wife and I spent many hours exploring potential Apartments in the States of Maryland and West Virginia. We checked the internet via Apartments.com, etc, as well as local rest areas in each state and Chambers of Commerce to obtain information on apartments. We visited many in each state from the booklet we made, as well as the information obtained from each state. My wife and I are Disabled and have special needs. We did not have Stony Point Apartments on our list because it never came up with the parameters we entered. We only found the beautiful place by accident because of a red light we caught near the apartments location. We decided to look at the tall buildings behind other businesses that were hard to see from the intersection. What a blessing that was for us!! We met the Manager Beverly, was shown apartments and told her we would contact her. These apartments have so much more to offer because of the space in them, the quality and cleanliness, and appointments. Plus, when we came to sign for an apartment we felt met our needs, Beverly ask, you wanted that 2nd floor apartment? We said we wanted that floor plan but due to our disabilities would prefer a first floor. She not only said she had a first floor open, but it was in her own building she lives, and since I was a Senior Citizen, she offered to lower the rent without being ask!! We did not find any other apartments in Martinsburg West Virginia this nice, at these prices!! She was open to having a high rise toilet put into the main bathroom for us, which was done by the apartments maintenance man?? We, of course, paid for the toilet of our choice and the installation. Also, the apartments come with washer and dryers and some utilities included. We were just very surprise with the kindness she shown to us!! We are very happy with our decision to go off course, to something unknown, to find what the Lord had in store for us.
Stony Pointe is an exceptional residence. Being only several years old, the apartments are still in an pristine and well kept condition, and the grounds are kept in a well manicure state . The property manager(Beverly) is very professional and displays a sensitive and caring attitude. In an overall sense, this is a GREAT place to reside. God Bless
The Stony Pointe apartment buildings are great! They were built three years ago and are still like new. Located about a half a mile from a major highway gives you access to all the restaurants, malls, and stores you could ever want. Yet it is so quiet in its location you cannot even hear the traffic from the roads. There are three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a balcony for the second and third floors. The upstairs (third floor) of the apartments features cathedral ceilings so you don't feel like you're living in a box, and also has a gas fireplace. The first floor apartments feature ground level porches in place of where the balconies would be. The only downside is they allow no pets, but if you don't have pets then it's a perfect place to live.
These apartments are very nice! They are quiet apartments but very close to everything. Only 1 minute from the interstate and grocery stores. Third floor has a gas fire place!
stoney point is a comfortable and well maintained place to live. the apartments are spacious and beautiful.they have wonderful patio's or decks. the complex has security lights both in the buildings as well as outside.the apartments are warm in the winter and cool in the summer.the apts. have locked mail boxes inside the hall ways that are lighted and clean. the best part is that all of the tenants are screened well and we have a safe place to live. also all of the apts. have their own washer and dryer, NO MORE LAUNDRY HOUSE! the third floor apts.have beautiful gas fire place's.anyone looking for a beautiful and safe apartment come to stney point.
Stony Pointe Apts is conveniently located, on the north end of Martinsburg, WV, off of I-81 exit 16E. From the time you pull onto the property, you will notice the lush greenery and well maintained lawns. Entering into the rental office, you are warmly greeted by the leasing manager, Beverly, whom answers any and all your questions about the lease, utilities, and deposits. Beverly offered to show me one of the apartments and explained there are twelve units to a building, and the one she was going to take me to was on the third floor. I entered the apartment into the living/dining room combo and was stunned by the size of the rooms, with its corner gas fireplace, vaulted ceiling and ceiling fan. At the far end of the living room, there is a large window and a partial glass door, which leads to a balcony/porch. Continuing to look around, Beverly let me know that each unit has its own full size washer and dryer. located by the dinning room, including a shelf over the appliances; she also brought to my attention, a smaller room off of the living room that would be great for an office or den. Connecting the living/dining area, is a beautiful breakfast bar introducing a luxurious kitchen with higher end appliances, including refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, stove with a self cleaning oven, microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher, as well as, an abundance of cabinets in an oak finish, making the apartment the open format that is so desired. Continuing down a hallway, there 's a large bedroom with a walk in closet and next to the bedroom, is a full size bath, with a tub/shower combo. The next room is the master bedroom, with two large closets stretched across a whole wall and another full size bathroom; Beverly also let me know, that Venetian blinds are included on all of the windows. As we were leaving, the leasing manager let me know that the vaulted ceilings and fireplaces are available only in the third floor units and that the office/dens are available on the second and third floors, but all of the units are the two bedrooms and two baths. Walking back to the office, we took a detour into the onsite, fully equipped fitness center, located in the same building as the office, which has 24 hour availability and included in the rent. Stony Pointe Apts with their great location, over sized floor plans, and amenities will quickly become your favorite new home.
