I love living at Strata. It has been great almost four years so far. The unit is great, it has everything you need, good appliances, it is a quiet place at night, pet friendly, great community area. Staff is great! Always ready to solve any issues. We all fell at home.
Great experience so far . Only been a month since being here . Was skeptical about a few things but the team here has proven me otherwise. Everything has been great!
Overall, the apartment complex is very nice. There are frequent fire alarms where three fire trucks are on scene, along with a fire vehicle. Mostly, the fire alarms are silenced and the fire department departs. This is both disruptive and unnerving. Recently I learned of an actual fire Christmas Eve 2024, as told to me by another tenant. Tenants do not evacuate, which could be fatal in the event of actual fire. Frequent medical emergencies with police, fire and ambulance. There are multiple other instances where police alone are called. My friend calls this One Adam Strata after : Adam-12 is an American police procedural crime drama television series. The grounds and amenities are enjoyable. Need designated dog parks rather than dogs doing their business anywhere and everywhere. Maintenance and cleaning staff work diligently and are accommodating.
The condominium is clean and organized, constant maintenance is carried out on the internal and external areas, our experience has been very good.

Maintenance staff are great, Common areas are kept clean most of the time. Great newest features like the new gym, and conference rooms However a $500 raise on rent at once is ridiculous, so be aware! Also, 5 guest parking is stressful and ridiculous.

Love my apartment. Just feel like more effort could be put into the community amenities. I.e 2 grills for the hundreds of units here when there is plenty of space to fit more. Also I have now lost 3 Amazon packages because there is not a good system for mail delivery. In the summer there were constant late night parties in the courtyard with no security. Fire alarms go off at least once a week because people smoke in the hallways. Trash builds up at the dumpsters. Lack of cleaning in the common areas/entrances. No staff member available 24/7 (even security). It’s a little bit of a free for all here. I don’t really care about these things that much but the price I pay here should be reflective of a luxury apartment. I lived in the city and love the riff-raff believe me. You just pay too much here for that. To me, the overall experience has been meh…This all being said if they don’t up the rent significantly I’ll probably stay a couple years but for the price it’s ?????. Nice people tho

the staff at this apartment is awesome. Hanna is a sweetheart the apartment is wonderful in design and in feel. This apartments are well taken care of.

I only have issues with the people in the building that own dogs, cause they’re not cleaning after their dogs inside and outside the building.

Negative points: I don't have much to complain about this place, I just think the rent is very expensive and rent every year. I also think there could be a playground for the children to play. Positive points: the maintenance staff, especially Arthur, are incredible, very professional and whenever I need them, 5 minutes later there is someone knocking on my door to fix the problem.

Not a good experience, there’s a lot of mice! Rent recently went up $500 which is absolutely crazy and no update to the unit at all! Package room is super messy, it takes a whole while to find anything.

As a long time resident of this property, I have seen ebbs and flows. The current management company appears to have genuine interest in making this a better living experience for residents. The challenge is see is often from residents themselves; there are a lot of people (or maybe their guests) that do not respect the common areas (including hallways, dumpsters, package room, parking lot) and leave trash and debris. It is always frustrating to see that the common spaces are abused -- and I always feel bad for the cleaning company the following Monday because they have to clean up after inconsiderate residents. One thing I have hoped for is a dedicated play space for the children; they make do with the little bit of grass space that is available, but it would be nice for them to have a space of their own. Look forward to another year as a resident of Strata.

it has been a positive experience. The location is fantastic—close to public transport, restaurants, and grocery stores. It’s a very convenient area for someone who works downtown or wants easy access to the city’s main attractions. The apartment itself is modern and well-maintained. My unit came with stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, and large windows that let in plenty of natural light. I especially appreciate the spacious living room and the in-unit washer/dryer.

I just moved in here and its been pretty nice so far. Not so noisy. Close to the city. No funny smells. I wish the dumpster was closer. If You come home after 12 am, parking close to your door is hard. I also wish the resident area was closed off.

Strata staff made everything from applying to move-in very easy, and have been friendly and helpful every step of the way. Strata also lives up to its promise of being a dog-friendly community, and providing welcoming shared spaces for human and canine tenants alike.

They took my $500 deposit since 2023. I have 1 year and 7 months. They don't want to give it back. That's what they're doing. I'm tired of emailing them, I call them, they never want to return $500 to the strata staff, it's taking people's money

We have reissued and resent the check multiple times and are escalating this matter again We are hoping to have the check sent to the office in order for you to collect directly since our attempts at mailing the check to your address have not been successful.
Great team at the office. They helped us since the time we first entered in the building. The only problem are the residents. Sometimes social area is messy.

So far so good! Denise and Hannah were great during move in, answering any questions that we had. Super accommodating. Now that we're settled, I especially love the garden- it's such a great feature!

It's alright. Too much money for what you get in Malden. Most of the community is very messy. No parking, people let animals go to bathroom all over the place and don't clean it up. Random parties in lobby at 2 am.

Responsive onsite staff is how I am defining the apartment community. The onsite team has been terrific. They were great at highlighting the features and helping to find an appropriate unit for me and I look forward to working with them in the course of my stay.

It's been 9 months since I sent the $500 deposit and they have never refunded me

We are disappointed to learn of your experience here at Strata, but will take this opportunity to improve and hopefully be able to explain the process of receiving your deposit back more seamlessly. I know that the latest conversation you had with us were about instructions on how to receive your money back electronically. Transcard sent the link, and you had three days to accept it via direct deposit. Please check your email including your spam folder and check for an email from Smart Disburse. If you do not do anything with the email, it will expire and a hard copy check gets reissued. If for some reason you did not receive the email you will need to contact Transcard again and let them know if you didn’t get the email link.
I've had a great experience living at Strata. My apartment was spotless when I moved in- even the tops of the kitchen cabinets were wiped clean. I've had no trouble with pests of any kind. The appliances are fully functional. The front desk staff is great- they are very responsive and helpful. The very few times I've had a maintenance issue, it was resolved quickly within a day. The building feels safe and secure. I rarely have noise complaints about my neighbors. The pool is a nice amenity for spring and summer.

I've been a resident of the Strata apartments in Malden, MA, for almost five years, and I love it here. The apartments are conveniently located near stores, restaurants, and medical services. The amenities are fantastic. We have a swimming pool, outdoor grills, a modern, recently remodeled fitness center, a community room for special events, and an on-site management and maintenance team. I should also note that Strata apartments are a short drive to Boston, which is better than living in Boston. I lived in Boston for ten years before moving to Strata, and my only regret is that I didn't move here sooner.

I like living in the strata because of the benefits it offers... ease of leisure and in many ways living here makes life easier for those who don't have much free time to resolve some of the setbacks that housing normally has. Maintenance is always quick and very effective. We have good access to the office, Denise is always willing and very attentive to our preferences. Ultimately, I consider my apartment a good place to come home to after a tiring day at work and be at peace with my family.

Strata has a great community that I’m happy to be part of. The place is very beautiful, has fun activities to do in the common area, the pool is great. Every time a had an issue (like when the washer broke), the front office was fast in providing help. The neighbors are also friendly. I will certainly recommend Strata to friends and family.
