Property Ratings at Stratford Ridge
Electric can lights & 2 plugs don’t work Thank goodness the issue was fixed expeditiously. Still working!!!!!
Thank you It was smooth and easy. The neighborhood is also really quiet and clean.
Poor matinance Can't get in touch with no body. Office hanging up the phone. You still haven't fixed the leak. Now. I got roaches every where.the man that clean my carpet is the only one that has my respect!!!!
Zero stars I been here for two only and all experience has been bed. I still have not received my key yet. When I moved the floor was left dirty and dusty. I have complained to least 4 for times to get the living room and still no has showed to clean up the mess I found I moved in. Bad customer service all round. Don’t move here it’s a horrible place here.
Apartments Everything was excellent coming back with my husband yo see it.
Maintenance Maintenance came in, took care of the job. Make sure it worked left. Came back a few hours later to make sure the air was still blowing cold. I really appreciate that.
Very nice I'm very happy with the pleasant staff and the smooth move in process. The apartment is very spacious and clean with new appliances. This is a great place to stay.
My experience I have nothing but good things to say about your customer service, response to Maintance request, and constant communication with us about what’s happening on the property. Good job
A part from the older gentleman that's come by to attend to our maintenance request, every other staff member has poor custom service. I have left 2 voicemail messages and sent 1 email over the course of 2 weeks just to have someone give me a call and I still haven't received a reply. Just an automated message stating that my message has been received. That doesn't even include the countless times I've called and no one has answered or ever answers the phones. You all pride yourselves on assisting your attendees but this is never the case. I've been here going on 2 years and the customer service has decreased tremendously. All I need is for someone to return a simple phone call to answer a question to something I cannot find looking at my lease.
There is mold in the ceiling of the guest bathroom. The staff is rude and unhelpful. My apartment has had a roach infestation since I moved there. For 9 months I lived with roaches that had spread so bad that they were crawling on me in my sleep. I got no response from the leasing office for months, and when I finally did, the issue was never resolved. It took 3 months before they identified the start of the spread, the apartment right above me that we had complained about prior. They had a roach infestation so bad that the cleaning crew was complaining about maggots. No matter how much I cleaned, they always came back. No matter how diligently I packed and cleaned, they followed me to my new home that I now have to treat for the next 3 weeks so I can sleep again. Unless you have absolutely nowhere else to go, do not move here.
I have lived in the metro Atlanta for my entire adult life, and have lived in 3-4 different apartments. Stratford Ridge is by far the worse. Let me begin by saying that during my time there I dealt with a lot of issues in stride. I sprayed for roaches on my own, I accepted some loud neighbors, and I didn't worry to much about work order that took weeks to get fixed. No, what has caused me to write this review is a letter I received from a collections agency for my final water/trash bill. This comes two months since I have moved out of this apartment. It's not a large amount, about $150, but it is absolutely infuriating to receive it this way. I paid rent on time every month and had my move out inspection without issue. So when I called and asked why they would do this they simply told me that it must have been the new management. Regardless of my own issues, I implore anyone reading this to consider literally any other apartment complex. This again is the WORST APARTMENT YOU COULD POSSIBLY CHOOSE. Thank you for reading. Sincerely, Alex
I lived in this complex for 2 years and it was the worse experience ever. Maintenance barely fixed anything properly. I had roaches on day 2 of moving in and they wouldn’t transfer me to another apartment. Leaks in the bathroom and under the floor in the dining room. I eventually had mold growing in the utility closet and all maintenance did was spray Clorox spray in the closet. Management was horrible and the worse customer service. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON’T MOVE HERE
just now I REALLY HATE THAT I MOVED HERE!!!!!!!!!! THERE NOWHERE TO PARK AND TRASH EVERYWHERE. It's so embarrassing to have to not have guests because there is literally nowhere for them to park. I've gone to the leasing office about this but they don't seem to care. I have to park almost a quarter mile away from my place. Smh They just leave trash out all night. This is not a good place to stay. Walls are paper thin and you can hear everything in the hallway This place is basically the hood THERE IS NO PARKING THERE IS NO PARKING I REPEAT NO PARKING I've had to wait up to an hour in my car just for someone to leave so I could get into my apartment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE, KEEP YOUR MONEY!!!!!
I lived here for 13 months. Absolute worst experience I have ever had in any living environment. We moved in to find that there was black mold in the windows, their solution was to come in and paint over it. It was so bad that my roommate and i slept elsewhere for weeks because it (mold) physically made us sick There are so many roaches here that when you open cabinet doors they fall out on you, pest control rarely comes even when you are on the list. There was sewage water backing up into the dishwasher, they sent someone to drain the water and told us not to use it, we asked repeatedly for it to be replaced and they refused. Everyone in the complex has a broken AC in the summer and broken Heating unit in the winter, which means they takes weeks to come and fix it, because they put you on a list in the order you called. I had 2 different maintenance men come out SIX DIFFERENT TIMES to “fix” my heat, it was still broken when i moved out. The “security guard” is friends with a whole group of young kids in the front of the complex so that’s where he stands all night instead of walking around. No one cleans after their dogs, everyone smokes weed so the entire complex constantly smells, people leave their dogs on their patios all day and all night howling and barking, a bunch of kids in their 20s live here so everyone is constantly bumping loud music inside and out. There is maybe 2-3 actual maintenance personnel here, so good luck ever getting anything fixed. Please take these reviews seriously and don’t just get excited because they have move in specials all the time where you can get $500 off your first months rent....no other apartments offer that big of a deal, and there’s a reason for it. If you like having an apartment that smells like weed, you enjoy hearing dogs and babies scream all night, and you don’t mind having to carry a personal gun or pepper spray to just make sure you get safely into your apartment at night without thug guys standing at the building doors cat calling you, then this place is perfect for you!! Also, last but absolutely not least- the staff here (aside from Carlos the maintenance guy) absolutely SUCK. Rude as hell, disrespectful, absolutely lacking of any customer service skills. No one does their jobs and i swear none of them know their heads from their asses. Good luck-
Poor service. Poor environment. Poor response time. Why is pest control a fee attached to the monthly rent if there are bugs in the units? When does pest control visit? Never seen an exterminator, besides my neighbor...who does not work in conjunction with the property.
The worst apartment I’ve ever lived in the day I moved in to a “renovated unit” I had mold, my AC leaked and I had the lingering smell of a dead rodent in my bathroom. No help from the office, they just said that it will eventually go away (which it did after about a month. Throughout that time I’ve had various ceiling leaks, roach infestations, and whenever it rains I a puddle of water at my back door. Also my apartment isn’t level which is just outrageous. To top it all today as my family and I were just about to sit down and eat dinner we had an opossum in our kitchen. Let in by maintenance who fixed a leak behind my dishwasher and forgot to patch the whole, or maybe it came from under my rotting kitchen cabinet that I called about months ago. FYI don’t move here. This is the most I’ve ever paid for an apartment period. This has had more issues than any apartment I’ve ever live in combined. Everyone in my building wants out their lease. It’s a constant topic of conversation throughout the complex I’ll go on ahead and close this out while I wait on animal control from my car
I have lived in this apartment community since February of 2012. I have had it, as soon as my lease is over I will be moving and doing and saying any and everything possible to deter any one else from moving over here. Today was the last straw for me. I place a maintenance request for kitchen because the sink is clogged, and the garbage disposal is not working. It is so bad that we cannot use the dishwasher or wash the dishes by hand. The water is stinking so bad that my apartment smells horrendous. I placed this maintenance request a week ago and no one has come to fix it. I called this morning regarding the same issue and Randy at the front desk says to me, very rudely, "They handle all emergencies first and they will get to me when they get to me" I understand that emergencies get handled first but you're telling me that this complex has had nothing but emergencies for a whole week, so no one could come fix my sink. Also, the second half of that statements says "they get to me when they get to me" which means at their leisure. When they feel like it. Unacceptable. My air conditioning does not work and yes, I have put in maintenance request concerning my AC. The maintenance comes by acts like they are fixing something then leaves and says my AC is working. If my AC worked I wouldn't have to have window units in my apartment but I do and why because the air conditioning does not work. The electrical wiring in my apartment is also crappy. Every day the circuit breaker in my apartment is jumping. My children and I must make decisions like watch tv in the living or the bedroom because you can't do both or some other normal everyday living activity has to be adjusted because if not the circuit breaker will jump. This is the worst apartment ever with horrible customer service.
I'm a current resident and have been for a few years and I must say it has greatly improved since a new company took over earlier this year. The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. It's an amazing improvement from when I first moved here.
To say do not move here would be an understatement..I have a squirrel literally living up in my bedroom area...you can here it running at night in the morning...Security Gate is always open people literally will sit in your hallway and you have no clue who they are. Bug infestation they’re are so many bugs I can’t even keep a trash can in my house I have to take trash out everyday and if you’re a female by yourself get some protection. Just beware they will show a renovated apartment and give you a broken down 1980 apatment you can hear the pipes creaking it’s just not worth it
The Stratford Ridge is a great place to live. The staff is very professional and attentive to the needs of the residents. I especially recommend speaking with the manager, she cares about the residents.
Don't move to Stratford Ridge Apts in Marietta, GA. The management company is joke. The maintenance workers are jokes. Don't bother putting in a work order because it will be weeks before you see someone. And that person that finally comes will most assuredly be unqualified and complete nothing. The trash compactor is always overflowing leading to trash being everywhere. There is mold in the units, but they will most assuredly spray paint over it. They have a real bad pest control problem. And the company that manages the building, Bridge Property Management, will lie and tell you that nothing is wrong. The common area are trashy, but the management will state it is not there responsibility. People have had several articles of mail stolen recently. Stay clear of this complex. I'm literally meeting with my attorney as of yesterday to discuss a pending lawsuit for the gross dereliction of duty to repair this mess.
If I could turn back time I would. Their "amenities" are never open for use. The pool is almost never open, the leasing agents are rude once you get your keys, maintenance is a joke, theres always a bug problem, the dishwasher in my renovated unit fell out, the laundry room has been out of service ever since january, there is trash overflowing everyday, there's always some one smoking weed and the smell gets into the apartments, and now I have a gas leak but no one can come to find out why. I cannot get out of these apartments fast enough. Worst 8 months of my life
We have been living here since Feb 2017 and this has been our worst apartment experience to date. When we moved in, there were holes in the walls, cabinet drawers not working, bathtub handles missing etc. We also were given an apartment that is like walking up and down hills. We were told the items would be fixed before we moved in a few days later and they were not. Anytime you put a maintenance request in, it takes weeks for them to handle them. We have nails in the living room floor pop up. Requested maintenance to fix and never did. Finally weeks later spoke to the maintenance supervisor who go the carpet folks out the same day only to put more nails in the floor which again popped up so this was not fixed. We noticed mail being stolen because the locks in the boxes don't work. This resulted in our bank account being compromised. Mind you we put in a maintenance request 3 weeks prior to this with no resolve. When you tell management your issues, they tell you the place is old and they have a lot of apartments to manage. Neighbors below us like to slam doors so the whole building shakes and are always screaming and cursing at each other. management told us to call the cops instead of talking to them. Management is more concerned with filling property then fixing the issues. Horrible experience. Do not recommend this place to live unless you don't mind this kind of issues. You pay for what you get. Will say they have a nice dog park if you have dogs.
The absolute WORST experience of my life. Maintenance issues are never resolved. Maintenance staff is horrible, the maintenance manager is extremely rude, and the office staff doesn't seem to care. The attrition rate is high with residents and staff and I completely understand why... The rent is extremely too high for such raggedy, unlivable apartments. These apartments need to be bulldozed and rebuilt or use the land as a parking deck since the property owners can't seem to make use of it.
I choose to move here because of the huge master bedroom but i quickly regretted my decision. Roaches were EVERYWHERE, maintenance never fixes anything (thats if you can even get them to come to your apartment), very unprofessional staff. If you can, look around a little more for something better.
My wife and I moved from Missouri from a decent apartment complex. Without knowing what was here we relied on pictures and customer service to find the best apartment for us. With special promotional pricing and friendly customer service, Stratford Ridge was the choice for us. We arrived mid-day and was able to move in late afternoon with all the paperwork done and whatnot. The first thing I noticed was the mountain of garbage RIGHT NEXT TO OUR DOOR! Literally Stratford Ridge is on top of a giant hill and the ENTIRE hill is covered in garbage. The manager said they are working on getting a professional team to come in and clean it because they cant get to it. As the manager showed us to our apartment I imminently noticed it was infested with roaches. My wife and I slept in the car for the first 3 nights while pest control went to work. We still seen alive roaches here and their 3 weeks later. Finally after a million calls to management pest control came back and sprayed again. It's now been a month and we finally have stopped seeing them. On top of that, tons of things in the apartment was broke. The dishwasher leaked an AWFUL smelling water and would turn on, none of the doors were sealed so their was a big draft that came in everywhere, 2 closet doors had massive holes in them, the main kitchen closet door wouldn't close, the bathtub was cracked, nearly all of these problems are still ongoing because the management is the worst I've ever seen. I was offered a one time credit of 50 dollars for my troubles. I spent at least 150 dollars in cleaning supplies before I could even sleep in the garbage of an apartment. Please don't move here. Now that I'm here and I can look around, there are just so many better options.
I currently live in Stratford Ridge Apartments and they are the worst apartments I have ever stayed in. First problem I had was when I first moved in. I moved in these apartments around March. The day I moved in nobody was at the office. The lady at the office told me to come late in the day so I came around 4-4:30 pm like she said but the office was closed. I has to call emergency maintenance to get someone in the office so I can sign my lease ( I guess that should have been the first red flag as a warning right.) Then the office lady came and showed me to my apartment. When I got there the apartment was completely disgusting. Dead roaches everywhere and dust and just nastiness everywhere. Worst of all some guy was still putting my floors down. Why is my apartment not ready? Since I moved in on a Saturday I could not speak to a manager until Monday. When Monday came I spoke to him and he said my apartment would be cleaned and compensated $150 off my rent. I came home from work that same day and all my food GONE!, my makeup, toilet paper etc..GONE!! So i go to the office on Tuesday and told the apartment manager he said we have trusted vendors. But like I told him they may not have know what to clean and what not to clean. He told me to get a list of things that were missing so I emailed it to him. When I paid my April's rent because there was an issue I had to speak to the apartment manager and asked him about it he said he needed a receipt. Like I told him before I didnt have a receipt for everthing that was missing but I gave him a receipt for what was missing. I even contacted a lawyer they said because my things were only worth about $250 taking them to court would cost more, so I cant even leave. It is August and I still have not been reimbursed for the things in my apartment. My heat did not work when I moved in nor did the hot water in the master bathroom and a few other minor things. Now I told them my ac didn't work they came by and "fixed it" but a few days later its still not getting cool. I told maintenance and I had my thermostat set for 45 and it was 75 degrees in my house. He tells me i need to have my thermostat at 73 and if it dont go down call thw emergency maintenance line. So oh ok you just dont wanna do your job because if its not moving at 45 its just supposed to move at a higher temp right. Smh. And to top it off when I asked for the apartment manager I was told there is not one.
I guess I should have known what I was getting myself into when a 2 bed, 2 bath rents for $700/month, but I was excited about my first apartment. Signed a 13 month lease and it was all downhill from there. Constantly dealt with bugs, the downstairs neighbors believed the hallway was their hang out space AND their trash can, the police were always knocking on my door looking for said neighbors, my apartment always smelled like marijuana because my neighbors were always smoking it. The people in the front office were in constant rotation. I think I saw four sets of folks up there in my year there and the management company itself only changed once. The garbage was in the front of the complex and there was only one so by the time the weekend came all you saw was a huge pile of trash when you drive into the complex. The front office never gave the maintenence people my alarm code so they always set off my alarm and I ended up with false alarm fees. Oh, and when I moved out they kept my security deposit for "cleaning" even though it was cleaner when I left than when I moved in. Nobody walked the apartment with me on move in or move out, so they say I can't prove it was clean even though they can't prove it wasn't! I've asked for an itemized detail of what they had to spend and six months later I still don't have it. Just don't waste your time here!
I lived in Stafford ridge for 6 months and it was one of the most unprofessional environments I've every lived in and I've lived in a lot of complexes...
This place looks nothing like the picture you see here.in reality it looks like a war zone. I would not even go inside .
Do not move here unless you like roaches . I've been here for just a year and the management has change twice all I can say is do not move here
