Lower Highlands, known as LoHi, is a family-friendly neighborhood just three miles outside of Denver, where you’ll find the Colorado State Capitol, Civic Center Park, the Denver Art Museum, and so much more. LoHi boasts a variety of local burger joints, taverns, beer gardens, and coffee shops such as Recess Beer Garden and Root Down, an old filling station turned New American eatery. LoHi is located near major parks such as the City of Cuernavaca Park along the South Platte River, boasting biking and hiking trails with scenic city views.
Hirshorn Park is a smaller neighborhood park that’s worth a visit, housing baseball fields, basketball courts, and a playground. Nestled along Interstate 25, commuting is no issue in LoHi, especially with Denver so close, but if you don’t plan to drive, there are plenty of public bus stops on the area’s major roads.

Property Ratings at Studio LoHi Apartments
I liked the apartment when I visited. The view and location are great. But when I applied, the form created an error that took 3 days for anyone to get back to me to fix. The second time they ran it, there’s still a problem and I can’t get a call back. I have called the corporate office and the building office, and I always just get promised “they’ll contact you shortly.” I’m incredibly frustrated with my experience. It feels like if I did go live there, I’d never get my questions answered
I would recommend Studio Lohi as a good place to live. I'm hoping the conditions of my apartment were a one-off.
I love living here. The location is great. Patiently waiting for the rooftop to open completely as it is my favorite part about living here.
The hallways echo so loudly. A lot of noise comes in from the street as well.
The customer service in the leasing office definitely gave me confidence that the apartment community would be timely and courteous with repairs or other concerns! Awesome people.
Great location and units. Lacks a hot tub which is a big value miss but still love it nonetheless.
Dawn was very cheerful and helpful. I'm happy to be living in a community with employees like Dawn.
Love the finishes of the apartment and the fans in every room. Wish that the patio door would close all the way and not leak air. Love the location, parking convenience, package convenience and the neighborhood. Really like Chris.
Overall, the experience was great and the move was easy. Everything is definitely a lot better than our prior building and the service is also 10x better.
It's smaller, which makes it feel more community like. Apartments are stylish.
the open top walls in the bedrooms are weird and annoying. The wooden floors and long hallways mean very loud footsteps above you. Otherwise great place.
Don’t love whatever air fresher you use in the common area
Would recommend friendly staff, seems like renters have a good environment/facilities, great location and view Would not recommend high rent prices, daily fluctuations in rent prices, small gym, no pool, paid parking
I have a somewhat bad taste in my mouth after my car was broken into and there are no cameras. I’m also irritated that I’m limited on what I can keep in the parking spot I rent. Otherwise, the location is great and the amenities are decent.
If you want to live in LoHi, this is a great location to live. It is in the heart of LoHi and is at a pretty good price. And, the roof deck is amazing! However, if you want a nice, good-sized two-bedroom with great amenities like a grocery store or convenience store or affordable restaurants nearby, this is not the place to be at.
Great location, nice, clean building, great size apartment for a dog, easy to get in and out.
Depends on the person. The location is a bit noisy and the original build quality was poor. The sound insulation between units is wonderful; however, you are able to hear quiet conversations on the sidewalk from the unit with the doors and windows closed. Same can be said about the community hallways. Personelle is wonderful on property!
Rachel in the office is absolutely fantastic -always ready to help, very friendly, and always informative. The complex is well maintained and all our neighbors are very friendly. We love living here!!
I love that it smells good, is consistently clean, all the residents and staff are very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would change is having AUM as a vendor. The trash and water and ridiculously overpriced. Otherwise, I love living here.
I am continually impressed with the maintenance crew! They go out of their way to say hi to me and even know my dogs name. Every problem I've had in my apartment has been fixed and they kept me updated every step of the way.
It ha great amenities and the staff is very friendly and responsive to questions and repairs. Only reason I'd hesitate to recommend is if I was talking to someone who likely couldn't afford the high rent.
Pros: Location Dog Friendly Maintenance Staff Views of downtown Denver Cons: Walls do not go to the ceiling in most all units Smells bad Office manager Lease contract Hardly any natural light in units - feel like you are in a cave most days. I have lived at Studio Lohi for almost a year now. Do yourself a favor and don't live here. Way better options in the neighborhood and even on the same street. If you are considering a move into the building, make sure to read the leasing contract. In all seriousness, you either have to die or be deployed to get out of it. They are NOT flexible when it comes to the lease-you cannot sublet or market your apt on your own to help them get someone else into the building.
