The mix of cosmopolitan flair and low-key atmosphere once led LA Weekly to speculate that North Hollywood just might be the best place to live in the Los Angeles area. This community has become popular among artists, writers, filmmakers, and actors seeking balance between easy access to Hollywood and a quieter, more suburban home environment.
The local food and bar scene is robust, and the bohemian vibe of the NoHo Art District attracts all manner of offbeat creative types. Uncommon among Los Angeles-area communities, much of North Hollywood is quite walkable, with food, drinks, galleries, and performance venues just a leisurely stroll away from one another. Thankfully for renters, all of the perks of this location come at a relatively affordable cost. Most renters pay an average of $2,282 to rent in North Hollywood, about $500 less than the Los Angeles average.

Property Ratings at Studio Pointe Apartments
The pool is closed after Labor Day and after 5PM including the hot tub which they took the pump out of so it doesn’t have jets or warm water. The tables will go away when they have the units rented. And your work orders will be ignored. The manager doesn’t care about the building or job. Bugs and raccoons out side. No parking in the parking lot waitlist is 5 years long and no street parking they play tag with cars. Save your money and sanity.
Great value Hard to find an affordable place with parking. This place throws in a pool and gym in a gated community. The staff was great at showing me all their available units and even those they were working on. They even helped he out during their lunch break.
I moved here at a studio pointe almost 2 years ago and since I moved here i haven’t had any problems, the staff is very friendly and the times I went to the leading office they helped me a lot answer every question they are very respectful and friendly as well. I know every apartment complex is going to have problems but manager is doing the best they can and it’s understandable it’s a big building and the complex is clean and good environment. I like to live here and I’m happy
They do not clean the stairs the landings or anything on the second level. Maintenance is poor, manager is always unavailable at their convenience. They do not fix things and there is no parking for you or your guest! I recommend looking elsewhere it’s cheap and for a reason!
I moved here nearly a year ago, and I'm currently moving out (to get closer to a job opportunity in Culver City). I shared a decently large one bedroom with a roommate, and it went off pretty much without a hitch. Here's my general impression, as someone who moved in from out of state: Pros: -Cheeeeeap. Especially with all the included utilities. During the winter I was paying like $30 a month or less. -Landlords were pretty agreeable throughout, never had conflicts. Allowed me to apply from out of state without ever seeing me in person (though they did request my deposit in the form of a money order, which is sketchy lol. I'll update the review based on how they handle my deposit after I move out). -Area's fine. Not very close to the heart of the city, but not nearly as crowded as most places in LA, and not that dangerous. Lots of families. Don't expect the area to win any beauty contests though, it's mostly auto shops, taquerias, and street furniture. Cons: -Water outages, while not, like, constant, happen more frequently here than anywhere else I've lived. Maybe once every two months. -BUGS! There's a roach problem for sure. But, it's manageable, or at least it was for me. My first night here I saw four different roaches, but after developing some discipline about leaving food out, buying some roach bait traps (the kind that poison the bug so that they die in their own burrow and their cannibal families die after eating their bodies), and the liberal application of Diatomaceous Earth (safe, cheap, effective insecticide), I haven't seen a single roach in maybe four months. Just the occasional cricket. -Area's loud. I'm cool with noise, but not everyone else will be. Expect to be able to hear kids/music at most hours
The entire staff at the property was prompt professional and so incredible helpful to ever need during the application process. By far the easiest apartment I have moved into. The ground facility is kept very clean and offered many amenities. Very excited and happy with my new home.
These apartments got a lot of roaches and bed bugs too
Ive lived here for 7 years now and while the previous office staff wasnt the best we do have a much better administration thats treated us well and gets our work request done quickly. Despite what some people say about it my husband and i have enjoyed our time here and dont see ourselves moving anytime soon.
They have been “taking care” of the brown water in our apartment since I moved in I have lived here 6 months already sloppy. Dishonest and garbage everywhere
Garbage everywhere we have asked for a garbage can by the stair and instead we get to see or pick up garbage ongoing problems with the water. Staff are no help. Neither is “ANZA”
Staff is rude you can’t trust them if they say they’re going to fix something or if you schedule an appointment in you’re unit to show the mangment what’s wrong they no show, no call nothing. Always a problem with the water and plumbing manager brings her kid to work it’s a joke!
INFESTED WITH ROACHES!! No sprays, no bombing, no raid, no "special" chemical that they use to kill the roaches will work! I lived here for a year and moved even though my next apartment hadn't been approved yet. I couldn't keep paying for rent when I'm literally sleeping with roaches....in the shower, dead roaches in my bed, cabinets in the kitchen, crawling on me when I'm sitting on the couch...EVERYWHERE. Throw the whole building away!
I have lived here for almost 4 years. Rent is fairly cheap compared to others listed on this site. Apartment is a good size with a decent amount of closet space. ( 1BR ) Gas/water is paid for and you only pay for electricity which can get costly in the summer. Huge Roach problem but that's to be expected in apartments of this quality, so get you'r Raid and roach traps out. Pool is nice for the kids and the fitness room was renovated about a year ago so that's nice. Neighbors overall are nice but at times loud. I live on the 1st floor so I hear when people stomp around upstairs. Parking is fine, I have never had any issues getting in or out.
The manager Helen was very nice and attentive. she explained all the amenities of the building and showed me the potential unit. However, there were no vacancies and my name went on a waiting list
You get what you pay for, needed to spent more funds on rent.
