Property Ratings at Studio Village Apartments
There is NO community kitchen. They should really remove that from their amenities because it has been closed for months and they fail to even provide a time frame of when the kitchen will re-open.
I lived here for almost two years. The first 2 months was ok but after the roaches and bugs kept coming in. I’m a very clean person and cleaned every night but the bugs kept coming from another apartment. Had them spray a bunch of times but no luck getting rid of the bugs. Prices weren’t worth the trouble! Don’t rent here!
I would give this apartment a negative review if I could. Between the bugs, the brown sink water, the cracked ceilings and doors, the CONSTANT theft of packages, and the absence of any help from on-site or corporate management, there is literally not one good thing I have left to say about this apartment after finally having enough and moving out. Save yourself the stress, worry and sanity and find another place...any other place to live. Stay as far away from Studio Village Apartments as you can.
cant give it a 0 star, so had to give it 1 star, which was frankly 3 starts too many. apartment was filled with roaches and other bugs all the time when lights when off, forcing you to keep lights on 24/7. Room also smelled like stale mold, and mildewed cheese. parking was always full, and trash always overflowed into parking lot and spaces. management was never to be found when the roof started leaking (pouring in actually) for no reason when it rained, causing bed and carpeted floor to become drenched with water, contributing to more mildew and mold smell. random people would be allowed into the building, even of they were not residence of there, and maintenance would randomly enter apartment and move things around and go through stuff in my apartment without warning or notification beforehand.
My apartment has had leaks for over the last 3 years. It’s molded, the roof in my bathroom is about to collapse and my floor floods every time it rains. They don’t answer the phone and they aren’t accommodating to you when everything is leaking. This is the worst place I’ve ever stayed in in my life. They tell you they are going to fix things and they don’t. Moving out ASAP.
Very nice place! Has a pool, jacuzzi, and a fitness center. Everything you'd want in an apartment. People would say it's too small, but I would say it's very cozy. The staff are friendly and helpful which is great. Everything is also close by which is very convenient. It's the perfect place to live in LA, a cozy place to call home. I 100% recommend the Studio Village Apartments.
Hello I'm a resident at Studio Village I have lived here over 12 years we have an amazing manager who really takes care of our concerns. The manager Ms. Coughun has great costomer services skills.. She is #1 The building is kept up and looks nice! R.T.
The staff here is excellent! Studio Village Apartments is a nice place to live with a beautiful pool, nice gym area, everything is close by (stores, gas station, park, freeway etc. Also too it's quiet and people are friendly. I would recommend Studio Village Apartments!! :)
There are massive roach problems in the building and now there are rats coming through the heater manager won't call exterminator she advised to just close the heater.. I've caught two in my apartment! at night u see them running around outside. Make this your last resort unless is all u can afford
It's tiny and bright with a very comfy bed everyday when I get home there is a place to rest my head. It's not too big but I don't feel alone At least I have a place, A place to call my home.
Very small, with one sink to accommodate as follows brushing teeth, dishes or your small garments, theirs two people in this small space the water is always shut off for repairs @ least 10 to 12 times a year, very inconvenient to come home or wake up to no water . And then there's the cock roaches that keep you on your toes everything must be sealed up at all times , but I must admit I've kept them out for the most part of this place. that's the cons . The pro's is location , convenience to all art district, and public transportation , grocery store, utilities are included in the over price rent.
ITS THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE EVERYTHING IS NEARBY EVERYONE IS SUPER NICE I LOVED IT
Very standard (small) unit. A hotplate is absolutely necessary in order to not constantly eat out everyday. No kitchens, some units have kitchenettes. Water is off about once a month. It is not the best place but is by no means the worse. It's one of those "starter" apartments. As in, you move here temporarily for a year to move to a much better more permanent place afterward. Management will make all efforts to take care of issues. Angelica (leasing agent) is very nice and sincere. Unit can become extremely hot in the summer if the AC is not always running. It is a little bit loud and distracting. Walls are somewhat thin, I can hear the next door unit slam the cabinets here and there. Parking is limited, if you work later in the evenings be prepared to park on the street.
I really enjoy my life here at Studio Village. It's a nice quaint space for one or two people. It's not too overwhelming, and the location is just perfect. Here you're close to the 101, 170, 5, and the 134--basically any important freeway in Los Angeles. It's also pretty central in the Valley just between Burbank and Toluca Lake as well as not too far from Sherman Oaks. I enjoy the pool here as well as the fitness area. The Resident Appreciation days are great, too! They just show that our business is appreciated. There are also nice people who are creative and in the film industry here as well. Great people, great location!
Most people would say that my 223 sq. ft apartment is a box, but I would say it is just right. I have everything I need for myself to live a happy life in L.A. I can't wait to start my new adventures in this apartment once I graduate film school.
Las Palmas is great place management will fix issues with apartment.
With the metro, shopping and fitness centers, and entertaining nightlife within walking distance, this complex is an undiscovered gem of the Los Angeles valley. A well-maintained pool, lounge, and small gym are a few of the amenities that make it unique to the area. With a friendly and helpful landlord and maintenance staff, any requests and concerns are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner. In a city whose cost of living is insanely high, this complex offers unbeatable prices, particularly for the starving actor or musician.
