Response time to maintenance is very inefficient in meeting my needs as.a renter. In two years I’ve have had a leak in my ceiling that took a week to resolve and seasonal outages of the heating and cooling system. The toilet in my second bedroom was unusable for 3 days with no response. The excuse given by office staff is a shortage of maintenance workers and most recently , “ it is a 30 year old property and things break.” My rent payments are always on time and I cause no problems on the property. Two years ago a tenant who was moving out warned me about poor maintenance responses but regrettably I took a chance. Don’t make the mistake I did.

I've been moving in for three weeks. Two of them live with broken air conditioning and no action is taken by the office. And in the meantime, I've caught over 10 cockroaches.

Also, we have pest control weekly on Fridays and if you will let us know your apartment, we can have your apartment sprayed. I moved into Sturbridge in August of 2020 & have nothing but a positive experience at Sturbridge Commons!! Located so close to everything & the maintenance staff are awesome!

The apartments in and of themselves are nice, but the A/C can’t keep up. The office staff when we moved in were great but there has since been a ton of turnover. The current staff does not answer the phones or emails. I have waited WEEKS to hear back at some point, sending several messages and calling, but still hearing nothing. I have enjoyed my time here, and will live here another year but will not likely renew again.
I lived in sturbridge for 1 year and this was the worst experience. The maintenance staff was absolutely horrible. Our apartment would stay at 75+ degrees during the hot Alabama summer and the issue was never resolved. The office staff is just rude. Would not recommend to anyone, do not live here
I would recommend these apartments to anyone. The staff was phenomenal and responded to any issues immediately. The grounds are kept very clean. The pools and hot tub are amazing. It is incredibly quiet as well. And right next to all the best shopping! 10/10
In May 2015, I needed to relocate to Alabama from Atlanta, GA., I am a student at Troy University. After much searching via the internet, apartment finders, I was at a lost. I came to Montgomery, AL., checked out several places and I was discouraged. I went to Applebee's restaurant on Taylor Rd ready to give up and noticed apartments in the back. I went to investigate, as soon as I pulled into the complex I became excited, it was beautiful. I went into the leasing office and was greeted with such a welcome I was overwhelmed. I immediately signed a lease. The apartment has everything I need. Clubhouse, exercise facility, washer/ dryer connection, full lite entrance, compacted garbage dispenser, tennis court, media room, fishing ponds and great customer care. When I entered my apartment I was greeted with a "starter kit", which contained paper towels, toilet paper, soap, dish washing liquid, snacks and a card that read "WELCOME HOME". I felt welcome!! I am conveniently located near everything; the mall, movie theatre, several grocery stores, sports bars, ups store, restaurants, the expressway and much more. The landscape is always kept up to perfection and any issues is resolved quickly. I am convinced there is no better apartments to live and grow in other than Sturbridge Commons. #homeperfection!!
I've been living in the Sturbridge Commons for about 2 years now. So far I haven't had any problems. The Maintenance person/people have been very sufficient. Security has been available and diligently when needed. Parking is good. The grounds are well keep and they are working on the dumpster and garbage site. Very quite and livable apartment complex. Overall I will give it a 8 out 10 because of the age. I believe the complex is about 20 years old or older.
