Fremont is a charming city in the San Francisco Bay Area that sits across the Bay from the Silicon Valley. It is known as an ideal destination for families, offering kid-friendly attractions and excellent public schools like the Children’s Natural History Museum and Washington High School. The rapid expansion of the tech industry in recent years has boosted Fremont’s reputation as a commuter-friendly city for those working in the Silicon Valley. Fremont is located directly north of San Jose, and Palo Alto is a short drive across the Dumbarton Bridge on the Bay.
Fremont’s local culture incorporates the area’s rich history and thriving arts scene. Check out the Old Town Niles region that features a popular art walk, antique fair, and a museum celebrating the town’s role in the early days of motion picture production. Exquisite historic architecture is on display around the city, so be sure to explore Fremont’s picturesque streets that blend urban amenities and suburban neighborhoods.

Property Ratings at Suburbian Garden
You should now that the walls are very thin, and you can hear everything...so if you live downstairs you are going to stay awake all night if you have neighbors walking around or doing anything at all. Windows are very old and leak cold and hot weather, and their heaters are very old and will cause severe drying of mucus membranes in your nose and chest. We also just had our pumpkin stolen in front of our house and the property management has done nothing about it. Lots of people smoking weed and cigarettes which end up going into our apartment. The price they are asking for these apartments is wayyyyyy over priced. I would not have written this bad review had we not had our pumpkin stolen this week. That put us over the top. Stay away from renting here.
This is my first apartment since I moved from other state, the management is friendly(especialy the property manager Carina) and the place is super quite. The location is also great for supermarket and BART station(union station), 1 minute walk from 24 hours fitness and lucky super store. I love this place!
I am living in this apartment for a year. Its a safe apartment. Less noise. Property Manager Carina is very responsive in attending any issues flagged. She is quick in resolving the issues. So far ....good. It is behind Lucky. The location is also good in schools. Good place for families as they have a playground area, pool area, and a gym.
I am living in these apartments from past one year and it's really a great community to live. It is right next to Brookvale Shopping Center where you can find 24Hrs Fittness, Luckys , CVS and Starbucks. Also very near to Interstate 880 and CA-84 and ACTransit Centers. It's a gated community and maintained very well. All the staff are very friendly and they will respond very quick to maintenance requests. Overall these apartments are very peaceful and mostly affordable comparing to any other near apartments.
Very well maintained apartment, conveniently located near Hwy 84 exit and has several grocery stores at a walking distance. Also the apartment is at 5-10 minutes driving distance from the Union city BART which makes the commute to San Francisco during office hours very easy.
Love my apartment and am very satisfied with my experience with Suburbian Garden. Carina has been spectacular at helping me with any and all requests that I have, and I couldn't be happier to be a resident at Suburbian Garden Apts.
I am renting apartment from last 5 years. Lots of great shops nearby and it's nearby 84 exit which makes a great place to commute for palo alto and mountain view areas.
Staff is always available and can be seen around the complex, and they're quick to take care of anything that's reported to them. Great place for families as they have a playground area, but also have a pool area, and a gym. One of the other benefits is that it's a safe residential area within walking distance of schools, grocery shopping and parks. Great place to call home.
Nice to live here. People living here are friendly and safe. The environment is clean. It has a pool and a playground which are nice amenity when you have a family
Its a great place to live! It is calm and quiet place and very well maintained by the management and the supporting staff. Appreciate the Management and supporting staff for prompt and quick maintenance service!!! Its green, clean, well maintained and near to all the daily amenities. Recommend this to all the friends looking for a place to rent!!!
I really enjoy living here! Was here a year ago but then moved away, now back in Fremont and this is the first place I asked to see if there's any vacancies! and I am loving it that's why I am back! Carina has always been very nice and patient with me. She showed me all the available units when I decided to move back because I am so picky :) Apollo always helps me with the maintenance as quickly as possible. All the staff go above and beyond to make your living environment as comfortable as possible. It's also easy access to a lot of stores. it's also very quiet and I am so happy I am back here :)
Suburbian Garden is a very nice and quiet complex. It is also very clean and green place. Management and maintenance are very professional, friendly, polite and helpful. Despite the apartment complex is quiet old, it is very clean, cozy and comfortable. Parking spots are under the roof and close to the apartments. Very good location. Starbucks, grocery store, fitness, UPS, bus stop and etc are located next to the apartments (2-3 min walking). It is 10-15 min drive to downtown center by car.
It's a closed gated apartment community. Great place to live!
This is good apartment and good community excellent staffs .
I feel comfortable staying here. All good so far. Maintenance is quick enough. Management is also very helpful, esply they responded quickly when I was locked out of the apartment with keys inside (a few times infact)!
Carina, (manager) carries herself in a very professional manner, quite knowledgeable in her line of work. Compassionate and caring, very helpful. Nice locality and gated community. The environment is very good, fremont library is back of the apt and good school and many more ....
Great place to live! We've been living here since 2010. Friendly neighbors, quiet place, relaxing and good maintenance services. We will most likely live here until we can finally afford to buy our own home. This is our home today. Thanks Suburbian! -Jassana-
been living in this apartment for almost 6 yrs now. Love the neighborhood. Safe and very accessible to all major shopping are, groceries and school. Lucky grocery is only a stone throw away.
Suburbian Gardens is a closed gate apartment complex. I like how it is quiet here most of the time and there are lots of plants and a few trees. (Which is nice on the eyes and for shade.) The environment is pretty good around the apartments. There is also a swimming pool and a gym. As of now, they are currently building a small park. But! The apartments are too small for a family. Even just a family of three will find it cramped. It will be perfect for a couple or one person though. During the summer, you will probably need to own a electric fan to keep cool because the apartments here do not contain an air conditioner. There is also a monthly fee to be able to keep pets like cats and dogs. I'm not sure if it's just us but our bedrooms are a wifi dead spot. So that's one more con. Anyway, overall the apartment is pretty fine.
