Property Ratings at Suffolk Grove
Lived here for several years without problems. A year ago I would have said it was a great value for the area. A new manager took over in March-ish 2019 and is horrible. Maintenance is now sub-standard for the price you pay. Asked for doors to be replaced as the closet doors kept falling off the hinges, they wouldn't replace them. The door to my bedroom was sticking they wouldn't replace the knob. In fact when I got stuck in my bedroom and had to break the knob to get out they left it how it was. Manger will now allow anyone to move in. My neighbor moved her boyfriend and his son into her single bedroom apartment that she already shared with her daughter. I suspect that the children are sleeping in the laundry room. The boyfriend is a violent drug felon. They park their 3 cars in the closest spots (including one that's not running) so no one else can park there although there are multiple units in the building and limited spaces. Management doesn't care. Dog poop EVERYWHERE. Trash is starting to accumulate and they recently downsized the already overflowing trash bins. When it has snowed in the past maintenance was on it salting and shoveling. Not this year. No salt had been put down on the very very icy walkways. Manager acts like he doesn't know what he's doing but has been a property manager for 15 years. Have had to several times go above his head and contact his superior. So if you like to over pay for a tiny apartment just so you're in Grove City and not have the basics taken care of appropriately, this is your place!
Called the leasing office to see about leasing an apartment and was hung up on twice, terrible customer service.
Have lived here for five years. The apartments are 40 years old but good for the money. Quiet neighborhood. Water bills are high but rent is cheap. Karla the manager is very easy to work with. Pay rent on the first or pay very high late fee. No grace. Great for Seniors or just starting out.
