Caro is a small community located along the Cass River roughly 45 miles northeast of Flint and 30 miles east of Saginaw in the Thumb Region of Michigan -- a peninsula that extends into Lake Huron and Saginaw Bay. In 1847, a logging camp was established that would eventually become Caro. With its tree-filled neighborhoods and green parks, Caro provides a gorgeous setting to call home.
Caro's downtown resembles a frontier town, complete with false-front buildings, square tops, and gabled roofs. The buildings contain a variety of boutiques, art galleries, cafes, and more. The Strand Theater, an art deco theater that opened in the 1920s, is a popular single-screen movie theater. Just south of Caro, the Indianfields Township Park is a popular gathering spot offering two playgrounds, ball fields, a horseshoe pit, four pavilions, picnic areas, fishing spots, and hiking trails.

My Name is Michael Viers I am a former U.S. Marine Sergeant and a disabled combat veteran and I retired early from Law Enforcement because of my injuries from time in service with the U.S. Marines. Living at Sugarcreek Apartment's in Caro Michigan is a quiet, peaceful, respectful, and safe environment from all my observations. There is a variety of friendly people that live here, and families with respectful well behaved children which is hard to find these days. I have not observed any criminal activity at all. Caro Michigan is small Country town that thrives and always has some type of fun activity, family orientated, and is not far from other historical sites. Also not far away is Bay City and Port Sanilac if you want to visit the Great Lake Huron. The Office manager Diane is a very kind, polite, helpful lady, and the maintenance man is very good and prompt when getting things fixed or replaced. I can't say enough about them. Sugar creek Apartment Complex has spacious living in each unit, a mini playground for children with grill and picnic table for family to enjoy the day. Sugar creek Apartments is clean and the landscape is well kept, clean, colorful, scenic, and safe. Not far from the Apartment complex is the Cass River with wild life and country scenery that is only a short walk away. Also close by is a local dinner and shopping centers for everyday needs which makes life more convenient. Another short walk from Sugarcreek Apartments is Caro Michigan's municipal park and Soccer Park. My Family and friends have made very nice compliments about Sugarcreek Apartments Complex and the Unit I live in. The words were... "impressed" that they used. I am very happy here if I wasn't I wouldn't be writing this good review, instead I would be writing a bad one. Thank You very much for this opportunity to respond.
I enjoying living here, the people are friendly and have never had a problem. I love our maintenance man! We have never had a problem that he hasn't been able to get taken care of right away! It's peaceful here and quiet!!
Beautiful landscape flowering trees all spring. Grass always cut. Nicest lady in office. Had what I considered a big problem great maintenance man had it fixed before I even moved in. Nice sized rooms. Huge living room Love the pantry Lots of furniture in my bedroom and still room to move and rent half as much as any where else I looked.
I have lived at Sugar Creek Apts. For almost 3 years and have loved it from day one and still do. My apt. is on the second floor which is very well lit at nite, a nice large living room, two bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen with a large walk-in pantry, really handy. The view from my living room and patio is really beautiful, two large red maple trees, 3 large blue spruce, and these nice woods in back, which is very beautiful summer and winter, all kind of birds and rabbits, the view around all the apts is very nice different colored bushes and flowering trees also flowers around back entry to your apt, everything is trimmed and very clean. The apartments are located in a nice area, we have a nice restaurant at the entry to the main drive, also a food store across the street, and two blocks to Walmart. You may think it would be noisy but you don’t hear a thing in your apt -very well built. So you can see why I will live here the rest of my life. L. Gorleski, Age 95
Unlike many of the other Howell apartment complexes, this one is set back into the trees and further from the busy street noise. Everyone here is quite friendly and the staff are always willing to help with making Burwick your home!
We have a roomy 3-bedroom/2-bath home that we have enjoyed for over 5 years. We especially love the large kitchen pantry and W/D hook-ups in our apartment-no more lugging laundry! The rent is slightly higher than other places but you get what you pay for, just like anything else. The office and maintenance staff are always willing to help and things get taken care of in a timely manner.
I have lived at SugarCreek apartments for ten years. I enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Over the ten years management has been very gracious in helping meet my needs. The maintenance man has always been able to do any repairs on a timely manner. One of the nicest things is when any visitor comes to see me they are very impressed with how big and perfectly the apt net is laid out. Living at Sugar Creek has been the nicest exsperince in my life.
This complex is one of the only ones in Caro that isn't low income housing, so they can get away with high prices. The community is clean. But I wish that the bathroom was bigger
Well-kept, quiet apartment complex. The two bedroom apartment I live in is spacious and modern. The bedrooms are a nice size and have ample closet space. I love having a Washer and dryer hook up. Nice bathroom and large living room. Private balcony is a definite plus.
The apartments are in a convenient location and they are well maintained and offer a lot of space. The only downside is that rent is more expensive than expected for a facility that does not offer a pool or a fitness center.
This apt complex is a joke. SMALL apts, with WHITE everywhere. The Maintenance and Office staff are both RUDE and could care less what your needs are. Find some where else to live, This place ain't worth what they make you pay for it. Glad I moved out years ago.
