Sugar Flats

I'm still liking it here. Although I do have some thoughts. It may be a good idea to get the air/furnace/dryer vents cleaned out, this building is old enough it should be done, also the new garage sensor should be put in the center, I've noticed many cars have to angle to the left for it to read the sticker. Other than that it's still all good.

Great maintenance service here, they are super quick to respond and quick fixes. I also really like the location and really enjoy the large units.

Great office staff!! Quick response to maintenance. Nice apartments with great access to sugarhouse. Very walkable. Nice that they’re updating things around the building

Still loving it here, everyone has been really nice and understanding. Although rent did go up a bit (as everyone can relate-that's something we don't like) but other than that it's all good.

I’ve had a good stay here, just wish the gym was bigger. I think it’s a fair price for everything though, good and clean apartments and good maintenance. No complaints other than the small gym.

Wonderful place to live. The building is very quiet which is great considering we are downtown Sugarhouse. The homeless is getting a little out of hand but not as bad as it is downtown.

Still loving it here. Everyone is really nice to me and my family. Helps me with any concerns, questions ect.. and it's so close to many stores, public transportation, restaurants.

Wish I could use the stairs in the lobby instead of having to wait for the elevator. Maintenance is fast and effective, other residents are nice.

The gym could be nicer, it is kind of small, it does have a few treadmills, step machines and a bike. But it has dumbbells with nothing proper to sit on while using them. Public hallways have no AC and gets pretty hot in the summer inside. Parking spots are very small, expect damage to your car.

I have enjoyed my resident experience here. It is a very nice apartment. I enjoy the layout of the apartment, and the balkany, kitchen, bathrooms, and walk in closet.

I moved here and immediately felt at home. The location is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and lovely, maintenance is prompt and responsive, and the community is incredibly kind.

Great place to live, parks are nearby, coffee station downstairs. Basement garage keep your car cool even when it’s 100 degrees outside. So come check it out

Great living here, good location and good units. Pretty much no complaints. Hope to renew for a good rate as well because I am very happy with my current rate.

Decent place and could be cleaner in the halls. Maintenance is always on top of upkeep but the lights and halls are inconsistent. Doors seem to fail every other month. Construction will be here for years.

Overall a great place to live, the location is amazing. Very walkable and close to restaurants and stores. The complex has good amenities and the apartments are clean and modern.

I have lived here for two and a half years and I don't plan on going anywhere! They are always making updates to improve the the building. I also can't say enough about the staff and maintenance they are just very kind and right on anything you need. Love it here!????

In general, it's been a great experience. You can't beat the location at all and the units are great. I just wish that the gym was bigger, and had more equipment. It's impossible to use weights if there is more than 1 person in there.

Great place to live, parks nearby and lots of places to eat. Maintenance guy is super friendly and fast . Separate bicycle storage which is locked

We moved in a little over a month ago. It's been a great experience so far! I'm impressed with the speed that maintenance requests are resolved, and management has been helpful so far.

Whenever I have a maintenace request it is promptly completed. The staff is available to answer any questions and renewing my lease was quick and easy.

I love living here, the location is fantastic, maintenance is great, and the apartments are designed well. There’s many other options around, but I think this is the best one.

Great place to live, love close proximity to 2 parks , recreation center . Nice renovations recently were made, wish it was better coffee machine though, not keurig

I moved in recently and have had a good experience overall, the location is great and the apartment is well thought out and has a good floorplan. However, most concerns (which were minor) that I brought to the office was usually met with them saying they're not going to do anything about it unless I have a disability accommodation. It wasn't about disabilities, I felt I had a legitimate concern that would've made my life easier if they helped me but it just seemed a little like they didn't want to help unless they absolutely had to. That's all minor though, I've found workarounds. Altogether I'd stay here.

It's great living at Sugar Flats Apartments! Office staff are super friendly and helpful, and maintenance requests are answered quickly. I'd give it 10/10.

I love living in the Sugarhouse area. I don’t have a car so the trax and bus is very convenient. There are numerous stores and restaurants that I can go to. Overall very happy to have a place in this area.

So far I have had a good experience, staff were great to work with to arrange a quick move in and transfer from a different property. Apartment is in good shape.

Good Place to live, the businesses that are around are all walking distance. Wish the complex would host events for residents to mingle! Overall, the experience gets better and better.

This is a nice place in the middle of the Sugar House area. I feel pretty safe in the building; FOB access to the building and elevator. The garage is locked and working properly.

Good place to live. The maintenance staff is very fast but the materials used in the build are "okay". Indoor garage (not included in rent) and an okay gym for amenities. However, staff is friendly and it's a great neighborhood.

Nice apartment layout! I appreciate how clean the lobby is and how kind the front desk staff was. The kitchen is nice and I like the in unit washer dryer.

Just moved in, its been a great experience so far. No issues yet. There was a lot of stuff to do to move in but the management has been pretty easy to work with

Amazing place to leave. Super close to 2 amazing parks, the price for rent is really good. Recently common areas were renovated, the gym is kind of small but good for quick workouts

Great location, being able to walk to the grocery store and many restaurants is a huge plus. The covered parking especially in the winter is also a really nice touch.

I've lived here for just over a year and it's great. It's amazing how punctual the maintenance staff is and how friendly the office staff is.

Sugar Flats is a very nice building in a great location with great staff. Maintenance is quick and the leasing office is quick to respond. The apartments are a great quality for a decent price considering the area.

Living here is a roller coaster. Recently got done with renovations and the renovations consisted of new paint and floors. We had a few amenities of a nice flat screen and coffee machine but those are no where to be found now. According to management the gym is upgraded to state of the art equipment. However we have the same old equipment that can be plugged into an iPod 2. They did put new tvs in the gym if that’s what they are referring to. Even then the tvs don’t work because they didn’t get cable boxes for them or even set them up. Randomly the elevators do not work without notice. It’s great when you leave to get groceries and come back and have to walk up flights of stairs with groceries. Additionally, in one of the common spaces the glass door has been broken with a plywood board over it for a few months now. In the lease it mentions there is a fine for dog poop being left on the property.Even indoors, There has been multiple times residents have left dog poop in hallways.

Great location near shops and transit. Quiet complex. Very pet friendly. Good appliances in kitchen. Convenient access to freeway. 15 minutes from airport.

Best location. Very close to the TRAX station, Whole Food, Smith’s, Target and etc. A lot of restaurants are walking distance. The management is excellent.

The staff has been super helpful and transparent! The residents are friendly, and seem to like it there. The garage is nice and secure. I would definitely recommend!

Definitely once of the quiet and cleanest place I have lived. The staff are supper kind and responsive. With the remodel underway, this place will be a 11/10.

Location, location, location!! Great neighborhood, I feel very safe walking around the area. There are SO many shops and restaurants within walking distance! I love the security the fob system offers us.

I absolutely love it here. My favorite part about Sugar Flats is the security. I have a difficult time feeling secure in my home in the past but that has never been an issue here. I love it

Some apartment appliances and such are often broken. Always have construction. Hallways are dirty and never carpet cleaned. But maintenance tries their best and often tries to save the busy money by not replacing items

Love the feeling of security in the building! I love that my wife doesn't feel the need to lock the house when we leave for less than 10 minutes. The view we have of the mountains is also really great!

Sugar House area is nice to live if you don't have transportation. There are many restaurants, businesses and trax close to this apartment.

I have lived here now for a year and a half and have absolutely nothing but good things to say about my experience. If I ever have a problem maintenance is right on top of it. Staff is super helpful! Love it here
