Property Ratings at Summer Meadows
Summerlin Meadows, unfortunately, does not meet the standards one might expect from a quality residential community. Below are several concerns that prospective residents should consider. Building and Facilities: During the weekdays, the water is frequently shut off for maintenance and repairs, causing significant inconvenience. Despite these disruptions, requests for maintenance or repairs within individual apartments often go unanswered or take weeks to be addressed. Additionally, the water pressure is consistently low, faucets tend to leak, and the walls appear to have been poorly patched over the years. Management and Communication: The management team at Summerlin Meadows displays a lack of effective communication and responsiveness. They are often unresponsive to resident issues unless they require something from the residents themselves. This lack of engagement can be frustrating and concerning, as it impacts the overall living experience. Safety and Security: Safety within the community is a significant concern. There have been numerous incidents of theft, including car thefts and break-ins. The security measures in place are inadequate, with no surveillance cameras to monitor activities. The mail bin is frequently broken into, and porch piracy is a common occurrence. Although management sends out email notifications about these issues, no substantial actions are taken to improve security. Overall Living Experience: The overall living experience at Summerlin Meadows is disappointing. The reality of living here is starkly different from the impression given by the pictures on the website. Potential residents should be aware of these issues to avoid unnecessary headaches and frustrations. In conclusion, I would advise anyone considering Summerlin Meadows to carefully weigh these points before making a decision. There are significant issues that need to be addressed to make this a comfortable and safe place to live.
I have never seen a roach infestation this bad. No matter how clean I keep it, how often they spray, how many traps, poisons, etc. NOTHING works! They're everywhere and they get into everything you own including your toaster, microwave and coffee machine. When I wake up, I kill about 3 or 4 roaches in my bedroom within the first 20 minutes of being awake. I can't stress this enough, DO NOT MOVE HERE! On top of that there's NO hot water in the winter, laundry room machines are always broken, pigeon poop everywhere, overflowing dumpsters...I can go on. It's like a living nightmare being stuck here until my lease ends.
Avoid this place at all cost. Was here for 4 years and it was the worst experience I had with an apartment complex. The office is never open so it's hard to reload credit on your card to do laundry, the washing machines are always broken, and worst of all, they shut down the water every other day for hours!! They give you a notice Wish I could rate it a 0 because it is honestly the most toxic place you could live at. Not to mention the office people are very mean, lazy and lie to your face. Do yourself a favor and do not move here. There are plenty of other nicer places for about the same price.
Infested with roaches, insane amount. I've lived in quite a few apartments I'm vegas and never seen anything to this level of infestation. The roaches are everywhere. I even keep bread and cereal in the fridge to keep them safe from the roaches, that's how bad it is. I would never recommend these apartments to anyone. The grounds are dirty. Many residents let their dogs walk around off leash and unsupervised, neighbors fight and play loud music all hours all week, sketchy people walking around all the time at night, security is practically nonexistent
It's got bedbugs and roaches and the water gets shut off every other month. They turn off the hot water without saying anything and don't answer the phone after they shut off the water. It's got to be the worst apartment in the area. Do yourself a favor and never live here.
AVOID THIS PLACE!! The place is filled with roaches, mice and pigeons. Also it has hot water issues. They cut the water constantly. They say they are repairing but it never gets fixed. And Do not expect to get your deposit back. They charge you with all miscellaneous fees. You end up even paying more than you have to.
Nobody takes responsibility for anything nobody can answer simple questions
My AC broke call 3times they said maintenance should be here shortly my AC its not working seens yesterday. And its 110 degrees outside i call next day still no action this is rediculous.
large unit private patio kids pool 3ft processional personal
the apartments are rundown maintenance takes forever to repair anything nobody answers any emergency calls
One of the oldest buildings in town with plumbing that constantly requires repair. I am unable to cool my apartment in summer time even with a new air conditioning on the roof as the hot water pipes run under my floor. The fixtures needed replacing before I moved in. The new owners of the complex are constantly looking for new ways to charge fees for living here. I chose this place for its location and I'm afraid it wasn't worth it. Other apartments in the area are cheaper and better. Avoid this one.
City Place apartments is a decent place to live. It is affordable and very close to shopping! The famous Las Vegas Strip is only about a 15 min ride away...Fabulous Downtown Las Vegas is only about 20 mins away. The complex is located near a lot of restaurants and night life is only a hop skip and a jump away!!! If you are lucky enough to get a unit on the Warnock side you have a view of the beautiful park and the Rio Hotel!
