Property Ratings at Summit at Warner Center
Every time I submit a request it is taken care of fast and efficiently. I couldn’t be more grateful about being in a place where the maintenance team makes you feel seen and heard when it comes to an issue. I appreciate them!

Hello Resident! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a nice review! We love seeing such a positive response to our team and we are grateful to have residents like you as well! It's nice to hear that we made a good impression and that you are happy with the service of our maintenance team. We will pass on your sentiments to the them! Best Regards, Summit Management
With all places come good and bad reviews, but I am here to grace all the bad ones with an excellent one. I have know been here for about 7 months and only have great things to report. I moved here for the bang for my buck with the size of the apartment and all the amenities. The great part is how quickly when I have needed maintenance that they have responded and went above what was asked to help out. Recently, during this heat wave my air conditioning stopped blowing cold air and my alt started to get hot. I filled the request out at night and the next morning they were here to help. They couldn’t fix it that day as the had to call out to another provider but I have a health condition that can be triggered by heat so the helped me out and installed a temporary window unit until it was repaired. I couldn’t be more appreciative. Their care and professionalism have really made me so happy to be a resident here!

just when you think this place can't get worse they land this malvin troll as resident care agent what a joke
I have been at the Summit quite a while and have been fortunate enough to have good neighbors(with the exception of this last group) in the adjacent apartment which makes things more comfortable. As with 'apartment living' in general, the people in the complex can make or break the enjoyment of experience. Apartment living is what it is.......it's never going to be as perfect as owning a home, so you can't expect too much. With that being said, I have enjoyed my living experience here at the Summit. I have lived at other apartment complexes and for what you get......townhome apartments, 2 car garage, washer and dryer and down the line.......the price is fairly comparable to other places that charge about the same price and give less. The maintenance request times vary and can sometimes take longer than needed, but I have noticed that my past 3 request were handled very quickly and satisfactory survey forms were sent out, so hopefully this all continues into the future. I have also noticed more effort in keeping the complex clean and have observed trash areas and litter being taken care of on a daily basis. My biggest problem living here has always been the parking situation. I have an end garage and frequently get blocked-in, which can be very annoying. Management has put up 'tow away' signs in front of my garage and just placed them on the side of the buildings, so with that and hopefully more thorough security patrols, improvements will be observed. Overall, the people here are friendly and there's not too much 'craziness' that goes on here compared to other places, so that is why I continue to live here. Sure, I would rather have a house, but no one else to blame but me for my credit situation. :)
I'm not sure what all the horrible reviews are about? Maybe we just got lucky with our unit placement but after over 6 months of living here, we Love it! All of our maintenance requests have been handled within a day of placing the work order! The maintenance staff is courteous and on top of things! The complex is huge but is kept very clean. Trash is picked up twice a week which doesn't allow for much overflow. It is a very quiet and peaceful complex. Everyone that we have encountered has been extremely friendly and it feels like a private little community. The staff has always been helpful especially Precious who goes above and beyond to help with any issues, big or small. I'm looking forward to renewing my lease!!
They have a attitude and no willingness help you out with your problems.
Never choose this Apartment. Management is very rude and careless when welcoming new residents. Any complaints on the house reported will not be take care immediately and they will drag the issue for longer period and after several escalation they will solve the problem. They also work closely with the Towing company and through their security guards, they keep close eyes on Residents who park temporarily outside their garage and immediately call the towing company to tow the vehicle. This is not a expected behavior from the Management or Security guards. I have even witnessed a car towed in 5 min after it is being parked. The towing company pays commission to the security people and they will monitor and take our vehicle immediately. Cars are being towed even if it is not parked in the red zone or yellow zone. And the management encourages it. Security guards takes photos and send the vehicle photo to towing company and the towing company uses that time to charge more money rather than actual storage time at the towing facility.
4/29/2017...The Summit at Warner Center employees are well versed on how they handle Reviews and Tenant complaints. This review will most assuredly be met with a follow-up from Ingrid H., or possibly Vera, or another party that will read as though they are genuinely concerned and want to assist the tenant. This looks excellent on a computer screen, but the facts and actualities, dictate otherwise. Telephone calls, emails, face-to-face meetings will not work, although she stipulates that on every negative complain and review. She will lament, ad nauseum that she can be reached at a telephone number...or emailed at...but to no avail. I say again, (I am posting 5 stars for a reason). My roommate and I have been above board and reproach, while the Landlords, Business Manager, have not. I have since found that in addition to the mold that I complained about, I now have health issues from the mold, which I hope are reversible. On December 24, 2016, our unit had no running water for 8.5 hours, and I was told that it was a DWP issue, when in fact, it was The Summit. To 'fix' the problem, maintenance siphoned water from another source that was most assuredly unhygienic. For those of you who currently live at The Summit and are reading this, The Summit will never cease to exist, as long as you do not know your rights, they count on tenants not knowing what can be done. I implore you to file complaints with the appropriate agencies, as most Landlords and Tenants issues are handled at the state level. The Office of the Attorney General does not handle Landlord/Tenant complaints, yet they have excellent resources in which to explore your options. You can go to USA.GOV, HUD.GOV, BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, and CALIFORNIA DEPT. OF PUBLIC HEALTH to name a few. You must have photos, written communication, etc in order for your complaint(s) to have some validity. You are not alone in your complaint and your rights when entering into a bilateral contract- the lease that is signed upon move-in should not be usurped. Our rental lease is up on May 31st of this month, and I can wholeheartedly and genuinely say that I had high hopes, yet ignored my gut instincts and all of the negative reviews. I have never been more wrong, or have had more regrets.
DON'T LET THE PICTURES FOOL YOU! IF YOU GO TO YELP AND READ ALL THE REVIEWS THEY TELL THE TRUTH. I KNOW THIS BECAUSE I LIVE HERE. CAN'T WAIT TO GET OUT! PLEASE LISTEN AND I HOPE YOU FIND A HAPPY AND PEACEFUL PLACE. OH, AND THEY EVEN TRIED TO REDO MY LEASE THAT WAS ALREADY SIGNED BY BOTH SIDES TO GET MORE MONEY. DIDN'T WORK, DID IT, ALICIA! HORRIBLE! I WOULDN'T EVEN GIVE THIS PLACE ONE STAR.
The Summit in Woodland Hills is a Beautiful property! Lots of amenities great for a family life style, four pools, Five Tennis courts, Gym, Sauna, putting green, great for dog owners. However since my children are grown with children of their own, its time for me to find a home that is right for me. I now don't have to worry about school location. So I'm looking to move closer into Hollywood, however I still like the Valley life style. More space than Hollywood! Less daily traffic when leaving my home to run errands or just relax. Sincerely Yours P. Wise
The Summit is the only apartment complex in Woodland Hills that feels like home, with attached garages, walk-ups to your front door, and a resort like community. You truly feel like a homeowner without all of the hassles and cost of ownership. There are 4 swimming pools, 5 tennis courts, a basketball court, a volleyball court, a full gym with saunas for both men and women, a business center, and a lovely recreational room available for events. I love it here, and you will too!
Horrible repair service, somewhat spacious. old cabinets and sinks. living with bother sister and single mom. trying to move to a new apartment with "future Fiance" and start a life together!
I called for service on a Sunday afternoon, after inoticing my kitchen sink was backing up. The service tech, Juan, arrived promptly. He fixed the problem and made sure the area he worked in was clean and neat before he left He ran the water in the sink for several minutes to make sure the problem was solved. It is nice to know the Summit is employing such hard working and pleasant staff
