Property Ratings at Summit by Broadmoor
The grounds are well-kept, amenities are satisfactory, and the staff is extremely friendly. It's not hard to tell that they actually care about their jobs as well as the residents they work for!
I have lived at Summit for 10 years in many different buildings. Summit has a living space for everyone's needs. Incredible property amenities and the grounds are beautiful! Jim the property manager is always available to discuss needs and leasing agents Emily, Melissa, and Grace are super nice and helpful! Maintenance here is always immediate and they know how to solve any issue that may arise. I would live nowhere else!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave Summit by Broadmoor a 5 star review. Our team is committed to providing exceptional service and we are thrilled to hear this has been your experience for the last 10 years!
My apartment was ok (poor insulation and old appliances aside) but the bugs were where I couldn’t put up with this place anymore. After repeatedly asking the property for help (for months), I got very little response. They wouldn’t let me out of my lease early despite a cockroach and cricket infestation (coming out of the vents and below the carpet). So disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you are desperate or love bugs!

I am sorry to hear of your experience. Please reach out to us at the office so we can discuss your experience, we would love the opportunity to resolve this for you.
After living in 4 different rental properties here over the past 7 years, Summit South was heads above the rest. The staff are always as accommodating as they can be, which was great for me because I'm an idiot. If you send them a message, you'll usually get a response within the hour during office hours. The noise levels at these apartments are better than any of the other complexes in this area. I personally hate hearing children screaming all the time like I would at rising view but I almost never hear kids here. The residents are mostly military and young adults; of course you still hear standard apartment sounds but as long as your neighbors have a shred of consideration, noise shouldn't be a problem. I have gotten a noise complaint in the past but it was completely understandable as it was 3am in the morning, and my friends and I were being a bit more rambunctious than we should've. You can have people over and keep your music at an enjoyable level without bothering your neighbors, just don't go blasting your subwoofers at max volume. The outside and inside are always kept really neat and clean. I've noticed other complexes in the area have a bunch of dead bugs, trash and weird smells in the hallway. The summit regularly vacuums the hallways and cuts the grass, but I never hear them do it. My only real complaint is the auto sprinklers might spray your car depending on where you park, leaving little water spots the next day. If you're respectful of your neighbors, they should also return the favor. I would 100% live here again.
My ground floor unit was overrun by bugs and spiders for the whole year I lived here. I was bit by a spider while sleeping resulting in a huge bump on the back of my neck for weeks. They sprayed 4 times! If you sign on here you get a gas bill, a water and sewer bill, a electric bill but trash is free! You can do much better for a lot less in Bellevue.
Don't live here. If you do, take pictures of everything in the apartment before moving in so you can have proof of damage/non damage at the time of moving out. I was charged approximately $300 dollars for a refrigerator door when I moved out because I couldn't prove it wasn't me. I cleaned the entire apartment better than when we entered it (actually found a sock from previous tenants when I was cleaning the apartment). My apartment was in perfect order because of how well I cleaned it! We even had an animal and they couldn't find anything wrong other than the fridge door. They had nothing to charge me for, but obviously found the most minimalistic thing they could just to charge me everything they could. I do not suggest moving here for the pure fact that Jim, the manager, is ridiculous. We had great experiences from all the other staff, but from day one of moving in, he was NOT helpful. He made it difficult to move in and move out. Both my husband and I got a bad vibe from his attitude towards us even though we never caused problems and paid our rent on time. He's unpleasant to deal with. Again, the rest of the staff was great, but he makes the final decisions. Do not live here. There are other nicer places to live that are cheaper. I'm a military member and I thought the incentive of $20 dollars off a month and a cheaper deposit were great. Don't fall for it military members! Move somewhere more military friendly and where the manager isn't such an unreasonable jerk and won't try to trap you with a crazy high bill at the end of your lease!

Thank you for your review and choosing to live at Summit by Broadmoor. We are sorry to hear about your experience. Often, the most difficult part of our job we must deal with is the assessment of damages when a resident moves out. The staff at Summit works diligently to ensure our apartment homes are presented in the best way possible for both current and future residents. Please know that you can always reach out to our leasing office if you would like to talk in greater detail.
Went on a tour and the first space we were shown was the club house which was beautiful. Asked to see the apartment we would be signing for and it was in disrepair, broken closet bars & doors. Not very striking, very low/middle of the road place

Clean apartments. Multiple buildings spread out and not centrally located. Pools are in good condition and the grounds are kept up well. Some apartments are refurbished, but not all. The washer/dryer unit is old but does the job just fine. Garages are available for extra and are spacious. When I needed something fixed, it was fixed in 2 days. Overall, it's a good community to live in and my apartment fits me well. I have no complaints. Very military friendly.
