Nestled on the Susquehanna River in New York State, Endicott is a small suburb with great public schools, local restaurants and shops, and a sense of small-town charm. The Cider Mill, McCoy’s Chophouse, Tony’s Italian Grill, and Jim Roma’s Bakery are a few of the community’s staples. Endicott sits less than 10 miles west of Binghamton, home to the Ross Park Zoo and Binghamton University. Residents appreciate the city’s family-friendly feel and park-like atmosphere with several neighborhood green spaces available. Although Endicott is a small town, the city has plenty to offer, including an array of affordable apartments, houses, condos, and townhomes available for rent.

Property Ratings at Summit Chase Apartments
I wouldn't waste your time even applying. The hoops you have to jump through and the amount of rules and qualifications you have to pass to even have your rental application accepted are nearly impossible. By the slim chance you do get approved, you have the option of paying $300 to be put on a waitlist if you'd like. I was drawn to this property due to its nice apartments with lower rent prices, but what's the point if you don't meet their rent-to-income ratio qualifications or debt-to-income ratio qualifications? Even if you have a great credit score and haven't missed a payment on anything if you have any loans or don't make enough money, then you don't have a shot at this place so don't waste your time. What's the point of offering low rent if the people who need it can't even get approved to live there? The office staff was friendly when they picked up the phone but they can't do anything to help you with the strict qualifications that are in place. This may just come off as a bitter person who got denied, but I hope to save someone else the time and effort down the road in this frustrating market of apartment hunting. Good luck.
upon sending in half of our application, we were summarily rejected for "not making enough money." let's make one thing clear, we would be making in excess of 4-5 times the monthly rent in income, so that is straight up bull to begin with. furthermore, we hadn't even finished the second half of the application because you have to have each party (my fiancee and myself) apply separately. This lightning-speed rejection letter seems to be mass produced and highly impersonal, as if used to mass reject anyone who isn't a local college student who has mommy and daddy Gates / Beezos paying their way through college. trust me, if i made any more money i wouldn't be renting an apartment...
This is a great apartment community set on a hillside away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is only 25 minutes from downtown Binghamton, 10 minutes from Vestal, and 10 minutes from Johnson City. Everything you need is minutes away. The floor plans are great, rooms are clean, and kitchens mostly up to date. My building just got a new deck built this summer so they are very efficient with fixing things in need. Great place to live if you are just starting out or are tired of taking care of a home.
I have lived in the summit chase complex for almost a year now, and will definitely be resigning my lease. The actual living space (I have 1 bed/1bath) is very modern and perfectly comfortable. I have a gorgeous view of the mountains through a huge window from the bedroom. One downside of the apartment is the living room has 3 large closets (great for storage!) But they are all located on one wall which makes arranging furniture a bit hard. There is some noise from the neighbors, but certainly nothing excessive (to be expected living in a complex). The staff here is amazing. The office staff and maintenance crew are so helpful!!! If I call with any issue or question, it is addressed immediately. Overall, very satisfied with this apartment.
The absolute best apartments anywhere close to Binghamton!
Our unit had brand new carpet and fixtures including a new vanity when we moved in. Everything is in good condition, and we love our balcony! The complex itself is probably about a 15-20 minute drive to Binghamton, but if you're like us, that's a plus! Beautiful views with lots of wildlife. Decent pool and gym area. We've only been here a short time, but I think we will greatly enjoy our time with Summit Chase.
