Property Ratings at Summit Creek
I made the mistake of living here simply because it was inexpensive. I wish I would have read the warnings online. The management is horrible, they never answer their phones and the pool and gym are always closed. Management likes to play games and charge you for the most random things and refuses to fix black mold in the apartment because they “are low on staff” or consider it “non emergency”. Don’t make the same mistake I did.
Worst property I have ever lived in. The management are amateurs. They treat you like its not your home, its their's and your just lucky they let you stay there. Maintenance is reactive, not proactive. No updates for at least 20 years. Look around. The landscaping is a mess. Trash all over the place. Your driveways and roads are patch work, more potholes than the city's roads. The roof is the same kind of patchwork, and they are always fixing leaks. Who in Michigan doesn't know you have to divert water AWAY from the building?? Notice the downspouts end at the bottom next to the buildings? They removed the bottom part of the gutter system. Whatever cleaning crew they use, you'll have to clean your apartment before moving in. You'll love all the bugs by the way. Need maintenance done? They'll get to it when they get to it. Don't complain....it will just take longer. I can't wait to get out of this place. Huge mistake. One star ONLY because they actually have some nice floor plans and garages. Other than that, you'll get better quality of home paying much less money somewhere else. I will never live in a Singh property again, nor be associated with any of their commercial property in the area.
I used to live here for 5 years and I had my ceiling leak I had mold in the shower and in my second room the staff was rude and disrespectful and they raised my rent every year.... this has been the worst place to live and considering the bees that came thru my place and it took a week for them to clear it up almost stinging me and my son.... they get a one from me.. wish there was a negative button I would push that instead
We are paying for a luxury apartment for a budget style of living. From the time we arrived we had issues. The people that allegedly clean the place did not touch the stove. It was like the previous residents never clean it and we ended having to cleaning it. It was disgusting, months of grease baked and old food under the range. The burners are not in good shape and when asked to fix it or change the stove we are told it can't be done because they supposedly work. The dryer was not working properly and after two months of complaining and asking for it to be fix we finally got it changed. If you like to beg to get your appliances working in proper order this is the place for you. Also, the unit shows its age. The only plus of this place is the school district and in part the location. Aside from that the cost of rent doesn't equate the quality of the place. One more thing, trash disposal only happens once a week and you need to buy your own trash bin. There is no dumpsters in the complex so be ready to have a very stinky garage. The trash is required to remain inside the car garages until the night before trash collection. I don't believe I will renew my contract at the end of the lease.
Great luxury apartment in a good location. Just a couple minutes away from the busy city of Canton filled with stores and restaurants. Everything is there!
I have been a resident of Summit Creek for nearly one year. I have found the amenities useful and well maintained, the staff exemplary, and the property a genuinely delightful community. From evening walks with my family to a dip in the pool or the use of the beautiful clubhouse; Summit Creek living has never disappointed. Getting around the city is easy with Ford and Michigan Ave so near. The pricing is competitive for the area. I highly recommend this beautiful place to call home!
Summit Creek is a lovely place to call home. We live in a spacious three bedroom home with an attached garage. There is plenty of storage room (every mother knows this is a must)! The attached garage is such a lifesaver. Summit Creek is located in a nice neighborhood, and the grounds are maintained beautifully. There are nature trails located nearby for exercise as well as a gym. The maintenance staff is knowledgeable, thorough, and prompt. The office staff has always been quick to respond and eager to answer any questions. The property manager is professional and really on top of things (coming from my last apartment-home, this is invaluable). One other plus I forgot to mention, the laundry room! We love living at Summit Creek.
I like this apartment due to the amenities and how it is close to the library, Summit Community Center , shopping etc. The apartment complex is well maintained. I am a social worker and I have three women who have lived there for over a year and they love their apartment.

A long standing customers, who pay rent on time each month, means little to this company. I have lived at Summit Creek for 8 years. Each year I am asked to pay more. Since moving in in 2005 my increase has crept up to over $100 per month and I am being asked to increase yet another $15. I am told that my apartment is now so valuable that I should be grateful to have it at the renewal price offered. I was told my renewal - rent with pet fee would be $1,220. When I went to sign it was presented to me with an $11 additional increase. Due to water fee and a new trash fee. My carpet and wall paint have not been changed. Very little has been done to upgrade the grounds, sidewalks randomly replaced and driveways patched. I was told the company was refinancing the property and the lender insisted on upgrades. Bushes and trees have died. Outdoor street lighting is not maintained. A gutter has hung loose from the roof of building #13 for since last fall. Black mold was growing due to a malfunctioning air conditioner in the apartment below me. The maintenance staff is very respectful, polite and timely. Unfortunately, I cannot share the same for property management staff.
