Property Ratings at Summit Place Apartments
First off, I don’t know where to start, but let’s start with the neighbors. One of the reasons why I am not renewing my lease is because noise is an issue. I was a resident that lived on the first floor, and I heard everything that my neighbors did from arguing, slamming/jumping(which I thought the ceiling would cave in) and heavy stomping and other horrible things you can imagine. Management doesn’t care about noise complaints but will send memos about non residents parking in the residents parking spot. Also, the bugs are ridiculous. During the winter you will not see them but during spring and summer roaches, large spiders and other bugs will constantly come through the cracks. I had a huge gap behind my fridge and maintenance sprayed styrofoam to conceal the 2 feet gap. Overall the apartment is spacious but the neighbors are rude, inconsiderate and nasty. If you move into this place I hope you get peace a mind because I didn’t.
I have consistently experienced the best residential support services at Summit Place. The staff is very friendly and helpful anytime I have submitted a maintenance request I have received a prompt response, efficient lighting on property, well kept grounds, permit parking convenience to shopping centers it has been a pleasure being part of a great community I enjoy living here thank you Summit Place staff.
Do not move here. It looks good in the pictures, but it’s not what it seems. Trash is everywhere because the property doesn’t invest in bigger dumpsters for trash. Parking is terrible because there’s no designated parking for tenants. Maintenance is poor; nothing is never officially fixed but just bandaged. The rent does not make sense for the location. There are bad neighboring apartment properties to the right and left; you’ll always hear loud music, arguments, and police. There is also a bad bug infestation.
Management was terrible, problems go unfixed, but they expect their rent. Trash everywhere, parking lot a disaster, I had to call the police to get my car unblocked by another tenants visitor. Drug activity in a neighboring apartment, kids unsupervised everywhere. Mold, bugs..pay a few extra dollars and get a better safe secure place to live.
I have seen major improvements within the Summit Place community, and I must say I am pleased. The management team cares and it shows, we now have monthly newsletters, resident appreciation day, best patio awards, just to name a few. I've been living here for 9 years and have seen this community at the best it has EVER been. The Police officers walk the community interacting with the residents.I would recommend Summit Place to everyone, that's looking for a wonderful small community to call home.
Community is small with reasonable rent but management sucks. I've had a few issue arise while staying here and it seems they take their time to fix them. Mold on my wall due to the water heater being broken. It took a month to fix the issue and it seems they just painted over the mold.
