Cortland Sun River

The staff has been nothing short of amazing. My views are top notch. The community events are so much fun and family oriented. The new spa pool is gorgeous. The rent is great. Did not see a bug one time. Maintenance was called once for a mistake I made. I mean the place has no faults. Do yourself a favor and come here. Very safe.

Our experience with Sun River has been great! Staff is very attentive, helpful, kind and knowledgeable. It is a gorgeous and friendly place to live, my daughter and I love to walk to the office and use all the amenities. Nicole at front office is always so nice to answer our questions!

All residents in the complex are very nice and friendly. We have lived here 23 years and all in all it is a nice place to live.

I like being able to go to the office and greeted by a friendly staff. They care about their tenants. Always kind and professional. Jessica is an excellent manager.

If you want a smoke-free community, this is NOT the place.

Sun River has been one of my favorite leaves I've lived so far, mostly because of the kind employees who make things run smoothly! The community is very quiet and respectful, and everyone makes you feel at home

Reasonably quiet place to live when renovations not taking place. Upgraded kitchen with large refrigerator and easy to clean electric stove. Nice faux vinyl wood floors. Courteous helpful management.

I have been here since April, and I have no complaints. The Management, Jessica, Celina, and Nicole and Maintenance, Chris and Armando, Teams are Great. They work hard every day. There are some many upgrades taking place, new workout room, a huge pool, all the apartments with great features. I can't wait until they are completed. It is a friendly community. I LOVE it here!!

I love my Cortland Sun River apartment. It is newly renovated with all Samsung appliances. There are no carpets in the apartment which is much more sanitary. The location is great. It's near a hospital, mall, Costco and Sam's and many other stores and shops. The amenities are being upgraded too. They are in the process of putting in a new pool, upgrading the workout room and the other amenities. The community is well kept and gated. The landscapers do a great job. It's pet friendly. I am glad I found this place and don't plan on moving anytime soon.

This place is horrible. Mold everywhere. They refuse to fix it.

Used to love living here but new management came in and ruined this property. It’s all about the money now, they don’t care about the tenants.

The property used to be nice with honest owners. Ever since Cortland took over it’s been nothing but a money grab. The rent is outrageous for what the property is, and the rent doesn’t reflect the fees. You have to pay a $7.50 fee every month now just to pay your rent. You pay twice for trash, common area electricity, water, pest control. I can’t wait until my lease is up. Never deal with Cortland.

Sun River apartments are conveniently located near the walking trails, and a grocery store. The staff is professional and responsive. I feel safe and comfortable walking around the complex late at night, and I enjoy living at Sun River apartment homes.

Great staff, and great apartment grounds! Almost always quiet and clean and never once have we had issues with any of our neighbors. We have loved it here for five years and will continue doing so!

Excellent place to live! Quiet neighbors, close to shopping, management attentive to keeping our apartment units maintained nicely. I enjoy the fitness room too which has a decent selection of heavy dumbbells and nice cardio equipment.

Sun River was the most unprofessional complex I’ve lived in. The maintenance men constantly followed me around and dug my old clothes out of the trash and kept them. They lied about the rent price and slapped additional charges onto our rent. We brought water damage to their attention and were told there was nothing they could do about it until we moved out. The neighbors are nosy and listen to your convos outside. There is a problem with cars being constantly broken into and people stealing parking spots that you pay for and when you bring it up you’re told to basically suck it up. We were constantly accused of things we never did and sent emails and text messages telling us to clean trash up that wasn’t even ours. There were beer cans left in our apartment when we moved in and holes in all of our drywall. We were a couple days late with rent and were met with threats of eviction. The outside is aesthetically pleasing but don’t be fooled by what you see in the model apartment and what you see on the outside. There were problems with DV with our upstairs neighbors who constantly screamed, banged, and threw things at all hours of the night.

I've been here for a few months and I really enjoy the place, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The fitness center is the best I've seen in a apartment complex and is very well kept. The apartment itself is much larger than I expected and having the option of your walls being painted is great! You can tell the building is older because of the layout of things; however, all the appliances are upgraded and everything is in very good condition. Once I furnished the place, I fell in love - it really turned into my home. The only thing that was sighlty disappointing was the pool areas, they are well maintained but the deck area is very small, leaving little room to walk when a lounge chair is laid flat. Even with that being said, they are still nice and I still use it regularly. I can definitely see me renewing my lease when the time comes, this is definitely one of the nicest places in this area and you can't beat the price!

I've lived in Sun river for a number of years. The staff is friendly and they make sure to take care of their residents daily. The maintenance staff is quick and efficient. The apartments themselves are frequently updated to newer appliances and the outside is very clean!
