the apartments are poorly built, so you'll hear everything going on in people's apartments. you'll also smell everything like smoke, even though it's supposed to be a smoke free area. I can't wait until my lease is up.

I lived here for a year before moving out of state. The grounds were nice and the indoor poor was really cool. The unit was very clean when I moved in and in excellent shape. The only draw back is the lack of outdoor space in my unit. I literally only had a small concrete slab by my front door, no patio. But my front door was facing the wooded area, so it wasn't that bad. The complex was very quiet, never had an issue with noise. Also, I was shown a unit that was different from the one I leased, but it was still nice. Good price for the area and quality of the complex.
For someone who has never lived in an apartment before, I've had a very positive experience at Sunchase. The location is great, safe and close to all conveniences. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, we had no problem getting a minor issue fixed right away. The grounds are always clean and the landscaping looks great. They allow pets which is a huge plus. There is a beautiful indoor pool that stays open all year round'. Parking spots are always available, even when coming in late at night. The apartment layout is very nice. We have a 2 bedroom upstairs unit with our own balcony which I love. A large living room with a cozy fireplace with a mantle for decorating. The kitchen is compact, but with plenty of cabinets and a pantry off to the side. It also has a dishwasher and garbage disposal which makes cleaning fast and efficient. The bedrooms are standard sized but with big walk-in closets and nice big bathrooms. No laundry space in he upstairs units, but there is a laundromat beside the office that is clean and easy to use. All in all, I really like it here and can see myself living here for many years.
The apartment that i live in is great, nice location, close to shopping , many great resturants. Great indoor pool that looks like you are on an island with palm trees. Large excerise room with state of the art equipment. My apartment has a great view, it is very clean on the outside. oh and of course parking is the boom. I have never had a problem with getting a parking space right in front of my apt. like in many other apartments it is a big issue with parking. you get home and the parking lot is full, not at the apartment where i live. It like having your own garage in front. The leasing agents are wonderful, so helpful with any problems you may have and very quick to solve them. You can't ask for anything better than that. And inside my apartment is great large kitchen area, good side bedroom, plenty of closet space and last but not least bathroom is awesome plenty of space for all your needs. Large laundry room with good shelves. My apartment is wonderful, fantastic, and marvelous.
I have lived at Sunchase for a year. The staff is friendly. However, there has been at least 4 employees replaced since I moved in. I haven't had any issues with noise or the neighbors, which is a plus also. My biggest problem is with the condition of the apartment. When I moved in, my toilet clogged A LOT. Called maintenance maybe 4 times, but it was never fixed. The last time he told me there was nothing in the drain and that I should flush it twice. Of course that didn't work so I bought a plunger. The bath tub has a hole in it and is covered by this big patch. The glue/adhesive under the patch is loosening so I have to be careful not to let it run down the drain. The dishwasher leaves rust particles on my dishes and water remains in the bottom of the dishwaser after each cycle has ended. The refrigerator makes this crazy whinning noise. The floors have weak spots that I can feel even though there's carpeting. On the plus side we have a nice indoor pool (that is shared by a lot of people)and you have to buy a key. There's also a gym, which you have to pay additional money to use. Overall, I give this property two stars because of the neighborhood and staff. If not for that I would definitely rate it a one star.
Safety, affordability, community & caring is why I've lived at Sunchase for 5 yrs. You're not treated as a "renter" but a real resident of a community. Any issues are handled promptly & the office staff treats you with respect! Until I'm ready to leave...Sunchase is where I'll enjoy my sunsets!
