Sunny Gate Apartments

If anyone planned to move here please don't it is not worth it. The price is not even worth of the place it's not a safe neighbor theirs always been home breaking in and robbing even during the day and night and they don't have cameras or security to watch. Even I myself got rob one time here in this apartment with gunpoint and after telling the manger they still don't care to do something about this place all they care about is the money. The staff here doesn't care how they do their job here either.

Within the first month of living here someone broke into my garage and stole some of my things. When we talked to the people in the office they told us that break ins don’t really happen but we talked to out neighbors and they said ours was the third one that WEEK. When we talked to our other neighbors, they told us someone cut through their screen door to get into their garage and this was their third break in in two years. And the back gate has a walkway with no door. What’s the purpose of having a gate if people can walk in and out whenever? There are people digging in the dumpsters EVERY day. The people in the office say we have security but only when you call them or if there is security, they only go to half of the complex. And forget about the pool, the pool belongs to the condos next door or maybe the people in the office are lying, I wouldn’t be surprised. And when we first moved in, the garage had leaves, a hole, a beer can, and a swifter from the previous renters. The person in the office acted so well saying “oh my gosh they didn’t clean the garage?! I’m going to kill them” i should have scrubbed the inside from top to bottom in case they half a**ed the cleaning. And BLACK WIDOW SPIDERS with so many eggs!

I don't understand how the lady in the front office could be a manger? She doesn't do anything when asked, always lies and puts the blame on her employees and that's when you find her in the office!! How many times does a tenant have to go in there for place a work order and not it get it done? I've asked the maintenance guys and they have said they can't fix anything without her writing a work order!!! If I was in a lease agreement I'd leave is place!! It's poorly ran, and the manager is horrible!! From a tenant don't rent here, look elsewhere.

My apartment was advertised and quoted as newly remodeled. They also listed that there was a pool, which was one of my requirements while comparing apartments, as I need a pool for therapy for my disability. I did not think it was necessary to ask about the pool. I was told that the apartment was not available for viewing. They are not taking responsibility for the advertisement. When I moved in, much to my disappointment, my apartment was not clean, the carpet in the bedrooms was badly worn, stained and dirty, mainly in the traffic paths. After promising to replace the carpet, the landlord changed her mind and offered to clean it instead. A complaint was filed with the property management company about two weeks ago. It has still not been resolved. I could go on but what I have mentioned is bad enough, and it would take too long. Just want others to be aware of what they are getting. I am hoping the landlord will comply and there are no hard feelings.

Nice, clean, quiet one level apartments. Two swimming pools. Not a lot of kitchen counter space though and very few kitchen cabinets. There is a small pantry. The bedrooms are nice size and closets are big. Nice size garage but not too much visitor parking.

The staff is very helpful and professional. The apartment was clean upon arrival. Location is conveniently near groceries, department stores, gas stations, banks, and highway 180. One downside: did not come equipped with a microwave.
