Property Ratings at Sunrise Apartments
The property is very well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend.
We enjoyed our time living here. The staff was very nice and helpful! We appreciate Abby and Jennifer’s help.
hot water is always going out. maintenance is terrible never fixes anything. All the appliances are old. laundry machines are always broken. Stray Cats everywhere.
I moved into an apartment already infested with bed bugs. Luckily previous tenant just moved a few units down and was talking to me otherwise I would have been 100% responsible for the failed spray treatment and 2 failed heat treatments. The office inspected their apartment, found bedbugs and they were charged for my treatments as well as their own. Ultimately I was told on a mo day that new tenants were moving in that following Wednesday. Office put a lot of trust into the final spray treatment, even with 3 previous failed treatments so I question whether or not the tenants before me were even responsible for the infestation. I’m sure many of those apartments are low key loaded with bed bugs.
Okay unless you want your water turned off unexpectedly throughout the month because “they are changing out the water filter” , you cant have anything on your patio we were harassed about a mop being outside to dry when it states in the leasing paperwork that if they spot mold you will be evicted NOT TO MENTION IT SAYS NO DOGS BUT I SEEN ABOUT 8 DIFFERENT DOGS HERE i dont have a problem with dogs but i do have a problem being singled out you cant have no plants sitting on your patio wall WHEN I FIRST MOVED IN HERE IMMEDIATELY THINGS WERE BROKEN AS WE STEP FOOT IN THE DOOR THAT WE HAD TO WRITE ON A PIECE OF PAPER AND TAKE PICS SO WE CAN GET OUR DEPOSIT BACK THE WASHER AND DRYERS SUCK ALWAYS BROKEN STINK ETC SUNRISE PLEASE RENOVATE YOUR PROPERTY!!! I hate it here and will never recommend these apartments. Your better off living in a motel at least you expect all these things!!
The ladies in the office are some of the friendliest and helpful people you’ll ever meet. The community is quiet for a complex so close to a college campus and beautifully maintained. Maintenance responds promptly for issues in the apartment and does what they can to repair any ongoing issues. Emergency lines are available for overnight issues like a faucet that doesn’t want to shut off (2 AM, I was so thrilled to have my tub drip drip dripping away). The office runs events for the community like Easter egg hunts or patio contests and sometimes they give away things for paying rent early. The positives said, a few things I wish were either more flexible about this complex or changed completely. There are three large laundry rooms located across the complex that use a card system. These cards unfortunately can only be reloaded in the front office between 9-5 7 days a week, and the laundry room itself shuts at 11pm each night. Part of my time living here was working a late houred job which made this relatively inconvenient. Stoves are all electric which gives a fire safety comfort but are honestly just the worst to cook on. This complex is gas free so there won’t be any changes on this front. There are no central lights inside the apartments save the ceiling fan and the kitchen light. The living room and bedroom are dark until you purchase additional lighting. This seems like an easier fix but can be annoying if, like me, this is your first renting experience and money is incredibly tight. We had some shadowy living room nights. I love this complex though. They put pride into their work whether it be signing new renters or cleaning up the dumpster area so trash can be taken out completely and not just for stuff that actually made it in the bin. I moved from a two bedroom to a one bedroom this past year when we dropped a roommate and most other complexes in the area don’t hold a candle to this community. It’s smaller, quieter, and better maintained than many others in the area surrounding CSUSB.
Great location, good sized apartments, grounds are clean and generally quiet, staff are friendly, helpful, and attentive.
Hello all. The apartments are a little old but nice otherwise and well maintained. They're directly across the street from California State University San Bernadino. It's within walking distance of a CVS, sushi bar, GameStop, El Pollo Loco, and some other stores. The area in general is well maintained. The staff is very nice and they take care of any problems you have right away. They have a pool and hot tub. The apartment I live in is a one bedroom, that is enough room for myself, though the closet is small. They have a 9-9 noise policy which is great for people who work and study alike. The only reason I didn't give an excellent rating is because the apartments are dated and should probably be renovated. All in all a great area to live in and an absolutely wonderful staff.
