Property Ratings at Desert Vistas Apartments
When I lived there only one pool was open even though they have 3. The units are ok. They need to be upgraded. Cabinets are plain. Best thing about this apartment is the oversized tub. Maintenance responds 3 to 5 days later. Parking is good.
The staff is very attentive to the need that I have had and very good communication. Especially Mercedes very attentive to everything
Moved in July 2021 and been nothing but an horrible experience ever since from the beginning the apartment had serval issues that I put work orders in for that never got fixed a week later the then asst manager came to the unit to photos and pictures AGAIN NOTHING HAPPENED. THE AC DIDNT WORK WHEN I MOVED IN PLACED A WORK ORDER FOR THAT AND ONLY GOT THE RUN AROUND. This year tried to get the ac fixed which both their maintenance man and an outside vendor confirmed that although it blows cool the motor needs to be replaced to cool the unit properly guess what THEY REFUSE TO FIX BECAUSE OF THE 5K PRICE TAG. Not offered another unit but will be raising the rent 500 more dollars. POOL HAS NEVER BEEN WORKING. Constant neighbor disturbance that alway involves police or even undercover at point. Neighbor is trashed not cleaning done. Oh also water is off pretty much half the time and they blame the water district. Bottom line if you wanna live in run down apartments where the management has no desire to fixed the unit but keep collecting rent cmon down to sunset cove
Very dirty place the garbage containers a disgusting after the truck passes nobody cleans. On the 2nd floors the air conditioning does not cool enough on excessively hot days the temperature reached 84 ?????? But they say that my bill of electricity of almost 200 dollars is "normal" because the air did not stop all day ???? Inside everything old. Very sorry to have rented here ????????
Roaches, unready apartments, they do everything to get you in and then ghost you when there is issues ! no AC
We've been with out AC since April, and they keep saying they don't have maintenance, hanging up the phone, they're very rude and unprofessional, the leasing and manager worst customer service, for sure I will be calling health dept.
It's the start of my third year living here and I've had a good time become better thanks to the very helpful and courteous staff at Sunset Cove. Manager Gabby and office representatives like Christine are always very accommodating and have gone above and beyond in keeping me here in this community and I have nothing but gratitude and thanks for people as wonderful as they are. The property itself is nestled in very lucrative area of this town, it has more retail establishments than I can keep track of, within walking distance you have Walmart, Target, Albertsons, Kohls..etc. Food also is very popular and in abundance whether you're looking for restaurants or grocery, you have choices and then some. As long as you don't mind living in a very busy area, its definitely a nice place to make home. You'll find everything you need nearby and very fairly priced apartments with all the amenities you could want. The floor plans are spacious for the price and its honestly hard to beat some of the quality of life things such as having your own personal full size washer and dryer as anyone who has lived in apartments can attest to. With such a great and amicable staff always looking out for my best interests, I hope to stay here for a long time. -Alex
My place was broken into, they take forever to respond to maintaance request, I would not trust these reviews!!
The new Mgmt staff Gabby, Anna, Christine & Loryssa are the best we’ve had in fifteen years. The main pool has been open hot days, maintenance does a thorough job fixing a clogged sink and tow truck patrols regularly to keep visitors from taking all tenant carport parking spaces. They are friendly, cheerful, polite and hardworking. This is not a brand new building but they are doing their best to deal with all matters quickly and efficiently. I’m really pleased with our Team this year. They get 5 stars and flowers!!
They never fix anything in time, don't even clean after past owners who lived there, they literally just paint over it, and everything breaks within a week. This place is fake.

Can't really even give you a review because we came to check these out and have been sitting here in a chair for over an hour while management sits and haves a conversation with other people, knowing he has people waiting to view models. Us and the other people waiting literally left and I am willing to bet my life they are still conversating at the moment.
It's not enough roaches are rampant despite buying all the products Lowes has to offer-gels, sprays, roach hotels, bait, NOTHING gets rid of the abundance of roaches. It's not enough as I was getting in my car to go to work, the couple across the parking lot arguing when shots rang out causing me to duck behind my car (after only living here few months) but no.. The cherry on the crime ridden, bug infested cake is they turn your water off, at anytime with absolutely NO notice not before, during or after yet send you a water bill every month like clockwork. 2 days in a row now waters turned off with no notice and off for hours. So, don't be fooled by nice looking apartments or low costing rent because the nice apartment is infested and that low rent?? Well, when you get your bill each month and see all the "add ons" water, sewer base fee, monthly service fee and trash fee expect to pay $50 to $70 more per month.
DO NOT MOVE IN PLACE IS DISGUSTING AND APARTMENTS ARE DIRTY. IN JUST 2 WEEKS OF BEING HERE THERE WAS BED BUGS IN OUR APARTMENT THEY DID NOT CLEAN BEFORE MOVING US IN. MANAGEMENT IS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL
This place is infested with roaches!! I'm a current resident and I kill at least 10 roaches a day, not including the baby ones. Pest control does not help! The apartment itself is decent but cheaply made. There are constantly people who dumpster dive and loud parties. Management is never in the office; they're always on a "break." There have been several times where I attempted to go in and pay my rent and the office was closed for hours at a time. I will not be extending my lease. I'm tired of living with roaches. Don't not rent here!

In sunset cove apartments they have excellent customer service. ive only been living here for about 4 weeks and Inside and out i feel at home. being that this is my first apartment it makes me feel safe and comfortable .
The staff is very friendly and helpful. All of my needs have been met in a timely manner. They have made many improvements such as having speed limits signs post to help slow down traffic, arranging social gatherings to help build a better community among tenants, and they are helpful whenever I need assistance.
I like living at Sunset cove Its great and it close to all the major shopping centers.
The customer service at Sunset Cove is excellent, due to the fact that the girls in the office are always on top of their game. They are always extremely helpful when it comes to anything at the apartments, whether it is the maintenance, outdoor area, neighbors, or just anything in general. They are also very friendly to everyone that comes in Sunset Cove.
This Community has the greats floor plan . I love the attention the staff give to us the resident with our resident party . we have been her for a couple ,months the guys work really hard thank to the staff for working the best they can .
I have lived at this location for 2 years ! And have had nothing but problems . Money has been a little tight so we had to renew our lease . We have work orders that we originally put in when we 1st moved in that have not been fixed. We still have a hole in our floor and a Crack in our front window that was supposed to be fixed when we moved in . They have yet to fix them . Last summer our a/c leaked 3 days straight flooding my apartment , and I called every day to complain and they did nothing until the 3rd day . My water heater leaked for 2 days straight flooding the laundry room and my kitchen... they tried to tell me it was my washing machine . So I videod me cleaning up the water and the water leaking from off under the water heater . To prove to them it was the water heater . Took them 2 days to replace it . My a/c unit this year from March to July had went out 3 different times !!! 2 of those times I was with out a/c or even a portable unit for a week straight . Other tenants had no a/c for a few weeks ! ! They are horrible with fixing things and working on work orders . There is no communication in the office and the managers are rude. I was bashed for emailing corporate when my work order for my a/c was basically ignored ! I am not the only tenant who has had problems with these apartments ! Do not move here !

I would not recommend anyone to move here. When we first got here, they put us in the very back corner, very lonely. We left to the mall one morning, gone for 2 hours, came back to everything stolen. Someone was definitely watching us. The management did nothing about it.
The apartment its self is really nice. But, when you need something done t takes them almost a week or two to get to you. The water goes off almost once a month and we don't even get a warning it going off. Last month we went in to tell them that our ac wasn't working, just last week they came to my door asking what's wrong with our ac. Like really we live in Vegas and it took them that long to come and check it. If I could break my lease for free I would of done it long time ago.
