Nestled along Highway 26, Tanasbourne is a large commercial center offering a variety of amenities for residents to enjoy. Great for renters who don’t want to go far from home for shopping, dining, work, or entertainment, Tanasbourne is home to corporate offices, several parks, retail stores, a movie theater, casual restaurants, and more. Property Ratings at Sunset Crossing
1. These apartments are very poorly insulated. We use nearly twice as much energy (and spend a lot more money) to keep the place cool during the summer as a “similar home” according to the PGE website. 2. As you can see from other reviews, there is only 1 dumpster for the whole property. Not only is it disgusting when people are forced to let trash bags pile up outside the dumpster, it attracts rats. Also, the cost of garbage removal goes up based on frequency of service (and the fact that they need multiple vendors to keep up) and that extra cost is passed on to residents. 3. There has been at least four leasing office managers and maintenance people that have come and gone since we moved in over a period of two years. This high employee turnover leads to poor execution of operations on the property (maintenance request, leasing office hours/availability, etc...). 4. This has been mentioned in previous reviews as well...us residents were offered a gift card to leave a positive review of the property online. These reviews are misleading to future residents and provide an inaccurate representation of what it's like to actually live here. 5. The property is very close to Highway 26. The sound of vehicles on the highway is extremely loud. Some times of day are worse than others, but there are periods that can be unbearably loud. I will let you all do your own research about the health effects of living that close to a major interstate or highway as well. There are so many other things I could go on about. Please do thorough research of the reviews and management company as a whole. My experience living at Sunset Crossing have ensured that I will never live at an Avenue5 property again.

Hi User, We appreciate the time you took to give us such a great rating! We are glad that you enjoy your home here at Sunset Crossing. We look forward to keeping up the great work! It was a pleasure to serve you. Sunset Crrossing Team
I called the office inquiring about moving in and the manager refused to tell me very basic information about the community and was rude to me when I tried to ask clarifying questions. I took them off my list immediately because I do not want to live somewhere with a hostile manager.

Hi User, We appreciate your feedback, asking fair housing questions is something that we are unable to answer. Sincerely, Sunset Crossing
Well was approached yesterday that another tenant is moving out because of no maintenance guy for over 3 weeks now and still a lot of tenants have broken things that still not been fixed. Plus all of then have lefyed because of the high rent and the unsanitary of the bin area too. We should not have to live this way. AC have not been fixed fridges other things toilets . How long do we all have to live this way. It's not right. We certainly do not want to live here but like all the market is out of control. We are looking at other options cause we can hardly afford the rent here. More tenants need to put in more complaints that how things do not ever get taken care of. We know a few who have and spoke to us that they too have had enough.

User, We appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. Please accept our most sincerest apologies. We hope you will consider visiting us again so we can turn your experience around. Kindest regards, Sunset Crossing Team
Way too expensive for what you get. No microwave in kitchen. When things go wrong you are the first they blame. Things have been said that are not true and SunsetCrossing only believes one side. Even if you have proof that you did nothing wrong. We do not recommend liveing here from what we have experienced . Read the lease and rules completely though before signing.
