Property Ratings at Sunset Hills
Trashier all the time. Unlocked area with old appliances like fridges and stoves that kids could get into. Dumpster areas are always a mess, no way to keep wandering neighbors out. No overnight security. Mailboxes have been beat up for years now. Uncaring and frequently changing ownership and management.
These apartments were so nice our first year living here. Things have been very different lately, this complex is overrun with children who spend sun up to sundown screaming at the top of their lungs, running in front of cars, harassing residents, looking into windows and keying cars (mine included). I’m disappointed no one is taking caution with their children not wearing masks and playing closely with 10+ others. the apartment management doesn’t seem to care or do anything and the parents don’t seem to care either. This complex is so nice in most other ways, we find it so hard to stay sane here now. I hope something changes soon because it’s pushing in the wrong direction. I no longer recommend this complex to future residents
Counting down till I move out of a Stout Property. Unfortunately I have loud neighbors and have had several service request to my unit. The people who live below me have no respect for others. I reached out to my neighbors to share my concern and even wrote a letter about specific days and times that I really needed them to consider others. This letter was approved by management. Nothing improved. I continued to complain to management, nothing improved. I have several emails where staff says they would speak the residents; however nothing improved. The noise would range from tv/music blaring at an absurdly loud level (to where it felt like i was at a live concert) to women screaming while men where fighting, banging around furniture (as if there was some type of fight club). My right to “peace” was not honored. Regarding the service to various facility issues ... those ranged from faulty heating/ac unit to clogged kitchen sinks. The ‘new’ upgraded features .. you can tell are a rushed job, poor quality. If affordability is your main concern then this location with meet your needs, but if you are really looking for a place to call home...stay away... spend a little more and go somewhere else. Moving day can’t come fast enough.
I have been living here for 2 years and recently we received new management and it has not been the same since new management has arrived. Good luck getting the work orders done on time and the customer service is the worst now!

If you dont care for silence, live here. Little kids run around constantly, banging on dumpster trucks and play kick ball in the parking lot. Hope they miss your car. And if you don't care for effective communication by the ppl who run the property, live here. They don't tell you when construction will be happening even if it affects your assigned parking spots and they don't tell you when their business hours will be if it's different than what's listed. So frustrating. Literally dispise this place and can't wait for my lease to be up.

We've been residents here for 3 years. Have no complaints. It's quiet and we feel very safe here and love the location. We do have new management, and the manager Evy is wonderful!!!! She's attentive, polite, efficient and friendly! If you ask her to do something it gets done! Love the new management they hired because of her we renewed our lease. She makes herself available for you and always greets you with a warm welcome. If your looking for a home we diffidently recommend it!

Spacious, fireplace, big back deck. It feels safe because it's a corner unit. 2 parking spots per unit in this development. It's an older unit, so some of the stuff looks a bit run down like the cabinets. Old dishwasher but it works. Some stains in the toilets and bathtubs that are difficult to get out. That's likely a result of the water in this area.
