Property Ratings at Sunset Pointe Apartments
Been here less than a yr. Horrifying Management. Noise every night. Roaches. Very bad place. Save your money.
Worst manager ever!! Corporate needs to step in & fix the ongoing problems in this apartment complex!! They will NOT give me a brand new A.C. in my apartment!! I have two small children & the heat gets ridiculously high, especially during the summer. I can’t cook, because my apt. gets real stuffy & hot. Opening a door or windows won’t help. The A.C. will not help at all!! I requested a brand new AC system last year. They denied it. “Fixed it”. It was worse. This summer I requested a new one AGAIN & what do they do? “They fix it”!! IT DOES NOT WORK!! NEW!! They don’t understand what NEW means!! DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! LOOK ELSEWHERE!!! Oh, & outsiders taking up all of our parking. Everyday & every night!! I won’t mention the number of other problems this place has. Trust me!! You don’t want to live here!! Worst managers ever!!!
I moved into a two bedroom apt in the back of the building and it's INFESTED with roaches. Management doesn't do anything to fix this problem. They write it off as "you're probably not cleaning enough, your neighbors have some so they're coming over to you". Maintenance for the unit is NOT their priority, their priority is to make the complex look cute so it'll attract renters. Staff is rude and not helpful, some of the maintenance workers have made rude comments, it seems that they grow to dislike you if you bother them a lot. The apartments are extremely hot in the summer and half the time the AC isn't working properly. Sure, the rent is "affordable" but at what cost?
I read a lot of negative reviews about these apartments but when I moved in I was pleasantly surprised. I had a new AC unit and everything was clean and well maintained. I never have problems and it's very quiet here.
When you open the faucet, especially the cold water one, it smells like rust even if you run the water for 10 minutes, the smell just won't go away. I reported it to management but they said it will be too expensive to fix the whole plumbing system, it being an old apartment.
I just moved in, and management is super friendly and helpful. There were some issues with the apartment and upon writing Ron who is the assistant manager, the very next day they were there to fix the problems, so I am very happy with that. I did find a roach my second night at the apartment, however I notified management the next day and they got someone in that day to spray. The complex is huge which is a minus for those who like small complexes, it takes a while to actually get to your apartment. But I feel safe and love it here so far! One downside, no assigned parking, I haven't had trouble finding a space yet though, there seems to be plenty of parking for the residents.
i like this apartments too bad they don't allow dogs.
