I love living here at Sunset and Vine. The premises are beautiful, clean and up-to-date. The staff here is superlative. Everyone is friendly, informative, professional, and always available to respond to any questions or concerns. Maintenance is prompt and efficient. The front desk is always on top of things and interested in helping. The people who clean are kind and friendly and very prompt in taking care of any colon issues created by the tenants. The location is central to be able to get on the 101 in a matter of minutes. The Sunday farmers market is right downstairs and grocery shopping is right across the street at Trader Joe’s. This place has everything you could want.

I love living here. The premises offer full services, full amenities, and the staff at every level is immediately responsive and helpful. I love the cleaning crew and the maintenance crew and the front desk and the rental office. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and immediately responsive to all needs.

I have only just moved in and when a friend who was helping me said the door didn’t shut properly to the bathroom, I took the order in time following day. While it was a minor inconvenience and nothing that would have stopped me from living my best life, maintenance still came to check on all the doors that same day. I’ve never had service done so quickly before in an apartment complex and it was nice to feel like a priority even if the issue wasn’t major

fire alarms constantly going off, garage doors always broken, homeless walking around the complex as well as once trying to break into my apartment while I was home (security did check on me), they took my entire security deposit for cleaning and some small holes from my tv they needed to patch (I lived there for 6 months and also deep cleaned upon my departure). when I moved in, the floors were polished over previous tenants hair and nail clippings, the paint on the walls was painted over hair, as well. I had a backflow problem in my sink where every time the person above me used their garbage disposal my sink would fill with water that smelled horrible...maintenance came and looked for a few mins and said everything was all good...I lived in the second floor where there were workers that came once a month to change the banner on the outside of the building and they would smile and wave to me from outside of my window which was pretty creepy while I was working from home (no one told me that this was a monthly occurrence/ or told me about this at all). walls are extremely thin and there are constant parties all night where I can hear people fighting. there were constantly little spiders and ants in the apartment as well...not sure if that is a second floor only problem- but it was not fun.
I sent in my maintenance request because my A/C vent was leaking. I put in the request and within the hour I had to maintenance workers at my door ready to fix it for me. They also provided me information about the A/C filtration system so I wouldn't run into any problems in the future.
The maintenance staff here at Sunset Vine is excellent. They’re always very responsive to maintenance requests. They’re always very courteous and competent at getting things fixed right. My dryer wasn’t working and they were here to fix it within 10 minutes after I submitted the service request. The switch was wasn’t getting any power and they had to order a replacement. They had the replacement the next day and fixed my dryer no problem.
For the most part it’s good! I have very few complaints. I feel safe at Sunset Vine and it has all the amenities. However, the majority of the businesses on the ground level of the building have left over the years and few have been replaced. The Walgreens was a huge draw for me and I feel Windsor should’ve done everything to keep them. Some of my favorite eateries have left, the nail salon, and the yoga studio. These are things that have kept me at Sunset Vine for many years. I don’t know if I’ll continue to stay w/out the return of a these businesses or similar ones to replace them.

I absolutely love Sunset and Vine! It feels like a very luxury complex that would be a lot more expensive at any other place. The apartments itself are very good quality, the only big issue we’ve had is with maintenance, specifically one guy who keeps coming back to our apartment unsolicited. We were accused of using cigarettes by this man and he came to our place very early without knocking, and gave me a hostile attitude because he didn’t like a review I made. But, leasing was happy to help us take care of that. If we need anything, leasing and maintenance is quick to respond most times.
Within days of moving in, there was a water leakage in my room, it’s been two weeks and maintenances supplies are all over my apartment. I’ve been trying to be nice and patient, but them leaving my apartment like a mess is not okay. They also used a lot of my electricity which hopefully will be refunded.
The apartment is really good, the only problem for me, uor apartment is on Vine street really near to Sunset blvd and is really noisy and is hard to sleep in the night.

My experience has been okay so far. My unit is right across the gym so everyone can see through my windows. Which is annoying because I’ve had people talk to me off my balcony before from the gym making some creepy comments. So I don’t use my balcony & keep my curtains closed all the time. I wish my windows were more private. The building is pretty quiet. I really am happy about that. The amenities are OK. The hot tub is almost always empty so that’s a plus. And it seems decently clean. I’ve never had a package stolen before which is such a huge thing in LA. I think sunset and vine does the best they can with the location. I just think it’s a tiny bit overpriced for the unit I’m in.
Lived here for 2 years now. Every maintenance request I put in is responded to very quick and handled quickly and professionally by the great maintenance staff here.
I recently put in a maintenance request for my bathtub to be resurfaced. The bottom surface of the bathtub is wearing off and the tub looks dirty. After the maintenance was complete the tub looks the exact same.
Expensive. Unsafe. Not well managed. Homeless inside the “locked” common spaces harassing tenants and surrounding the property in tents and filth. Businesses leaving the area due to this. Prices keep increasing however even though quality of living is decreasing.
Great community. Great access to places to eat and shop. Close to public transportation.
I just moved here 6 months ago and so far it’s been okay. I don’t really know how I feel about the place yet. The apartment is nice, but it’s annoying how many fire alarms have gone off randomly at all hours of the night with no follow up email as to why this happened. I’ve talked to other residents & we all get ignored on this matter except one email as of recent that some “transient” pulled it. But that email came a whole month later. (This is aside from the testing day) The apartment complex itself seems pretty clean. I can tell there’s people that try to keep up as best as they can. My unit itself is pretty quiet. I’ve heard from other people that it’s loud but I have no issues aside from my upstairs neighbor occasionally stomping around or yelling. That’s just how it is in an apartment tho.
Staying within the walls of the property is great and I feel safe with the security of the building but the area outside the property has gotten dangerous and scary. Many of the businesses have left. One of the best things about living at Sunset Vine was the Walgreens on the main level, but… it has left too.
They always show up within 2 hours when I put in the work order. The longest has been the next day. It’s a pretty quick turnaround. Thank you!
The staff is great and try their best to help. However I have some issues tht have yet to be fixed: 1- Balcony floor and railing were very dirty when I moved in. I was told because it’s “outside” it tends to get dirty fast(shouldn’t be an excuse for when a tenant first moves in) 2- Where my apartment is, there is often a strong smell of weed by the entrance of my apt, and sometimes that comes into my apartment thru the duct vent. I complained before and somebody distributed banners saying not to smoke on premises, but the issue still persists. 3- Some issues with elevators and card readers, car tags ..etc

I love being a resident here, it’s a quiet oasis within a bustling and fun area. The staff is very sweet and helpful, and I always feel safe. Maintenance responds quickly and efficiently. I always feel like my needs are meant when expressed. A great, fun, and safe Hollywood community to live at.
We love living at Sunset and Vine! The grounds are gorgeous and the amenities are fantastic. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Shout out to Joel and Jermaine in maintenance who always help us out when we need it and are super friendly, awesome guys. Our new puppy LOVES Jermaine and gets so excited to see him! I love living in sunset vine and the maintenance staff is a major part of what makes it so great. Jermaine W on the maintenance team has helped me out many times - most recently, I submitted 4 work order requests at once. Jermaine was there within a couple of hours and completed all 4 requests in a matter of minutes, all while remaining polite, friendly, and courteous. Thank you, Jermaine, for all your hard work!
Highly recommend living elsewhere. They are great at putting on a show to get you to sign a lease and after that it’s all different. The amenities don’t live up to what they say, future amenities are not added like they say, construction happening constantly throughout the building that lasts much longer than specified. Very poor management. Wouldn’t recommend.
There was a time sunset vine was the best place to be. It literally offered everything you could possibly want for a great price. But sadly, the rent continues to rise as the value continues to fall.
As a student moving to the big city from a small northern surf town Windsor made my move in super easy and super quick. Since being here I have had nothing but great interactions with them.
I love the security. They are on point. So I feel safe here. Maintenance is always on it. It doesn't matter if it is over two hours. They always show up to help and they handle it. If I had to make a preference of my favorite person here. Certainly Philicia. Probably her positive energy. And even I have challenges and she was there. Just my thoughts.

I have lived here for almost 3 years and I love it because of the amenities, location, management and staff. Everyone who works here is professional, competent, friendly, and really interested in the well-being of the residents. Any concerns I may have had are immediately addressed, such as trimming trees, washing windows and keeping noise down. I am so excited that the lobby and main area are being renovated and the halls are being painted and newly carpeted. The fresh look is really bringing our amenities up-to-date with all of the new high-rises that have popped up in the neighborhood. I love the convenience of the shops downstairs, the easy access to private parking, and most of all, the people who work here. They feel like family.

A good location, amenities, maintenance, though noise both from outside and neighboring apartments can be disturbing at times.
Love Alexa from the Management Office and Oscar from the Security Office. They are an asset to the building at 1555 Vine Street and have made living at the building such an enjoyable experience.

The leasing office provided us with a move-in inspection form that we completed and highlighted several items that needed attention like the curtains in the bedroom were full of holes, one bedroom outlet was upside side so could not be used, the fridge was not working (not cooling since we moved in) so all our food spoiled, the curtains in the living room are stained.

I love living at sunset vine! The complex is well-kept and clean, and the staff are all terrific! Any issues I've had have been resolved within a matter of hours. I'm beyond satisfied and love calling sunset vine my home.

My wife & I have absolutely loved living at sunset vine! The apartments are clean and well-kept, and every sunset vine / Windsor employee we've encountered has been friendly and happy to assist with any issue. I have to shout out the maintenance team in particular. At my last apartment, I was lucky if maintenance dealt with something I reported within a week. But at sunset vine, I've never waited longer than an hour and a half for them to show up and remedy whatever issue I've reported. They're phenomenal!
Reasonable prices for a great amount of comfort and a central location. Staff is very friendly and responds to concerns quickly. Building needs to work on assuring policies such as no-smoking and quiet hours as residents continually violate those clauses.
My wife and I are so very pleased with our home at Sunset & Vine. Our apartment is of the utmost quality, the amenities are extremely clean and well kept and the staff are professional and on point. Lets also not forget the friendly and professional 24 hr. security. In todays day and age, this is paramount. Yes, as my wife and I say, Sunset & Vine checks every box.
Maintenance has always been dependable and knowledgeable when it comes to product and serviceability.
