Everett occupies a unique location with convenience to big-city amenities, beaches, and the mountains. You can just as easily take a drive to Downtown Seattle as you can to Jetty Island or Mount Pilchuck State Park.
Various museums such as Imagine Children’s Museum, Schack Art Center, Flying Heritage and Combat Armor Museum, and the Museum of Flight Restoration Center all serve to ignite curiosity. Opportunities for outdoor recreation abound at Legion Park, Howarth Park, Grand Avenue Park, and Spencer Island Park. The Historic Everett Theatre hosts a range of performances in addition to the Xfinity Arena, which also houses the local hockey team, the Silvertips. Local watering holes include Lazy Boy Brewing, Port Gardner Bay Winery, and At Large Brewing.

Property Ratings at Sutter's Square
Came back to edit my review since management wants to play favorites with the residents. It's weird that an aggressive dog is allowed in the front office off leash and allowed to run around the complex terrorizing other dogs, yet all other dogs are required to be leashed. Also weird that this resident isn't required to clean up after their animal just because it's small. Dog poop and trash everywhere, dogs off leash trying to fight other dogs that management does nothing about, rent went up $600 between 2021-2023 with NO upgrades done to the apartment, hard to find parking after 8. The severe neglect when it comes to basic inspections is absolutely alarming. My smoke detector was turned off for the entire first year despite there being a fire inspection and two separate apartment inspections. My dryer was not hooked up to a vent at all for TWO YEARS which could have started a fire or caused carbon monoxide poisoning. Took almost an entire month for them to get a plumber to fix a leak in my kitchen ceiling that was dripping mystery water directly onto my stove, preventing me from using the stove for the entire month. Already told my friends and family not to live here ever.
Since I moved here in April 2021, I have been so happy and thankful to all the Management and Maintenance staff here who always do everything they can to take care of their residents! I love my new apartment and give a 5+ star rating to all the people here who are so dedicated to making this a nice place to live!
I have lived here for 6 years now. I have seen the apartments change management with good things and bad things about the change. The property is not as clean as before, Victor the maintenance man they had for a couple years did a great job at picking up the garbage. The garbage dumpsters are not as clean as before either. There has always been homeless people walking through the property and such but I have never seen them do anything wrong, they do go through the dumpsters but they do it at night. It's not a good location, but the Apartments are ok for the price. You get a washer and dryer and a fire place. Try going to a laundromat these days, it cost's 4 dollars or more to do 1 load of laundry.
Sutter square apartments are older but well kept, the walls are a little thin but. Or to terribly bad the office is friendly always helpful I would put their names but I forgot the one that works weekends and I don’t want to leave her out cause they are both really good, I like that they have washer and dryer and their approval time is very fast other apartments I have had to wait a day or two usually just to be told I had an outrageous deposit but at sutter it was approved in just minutes and no crazy deposits and the rent is fairly reasonable considering how exit is to live in Washington anyway and so you know I do not work for this place at all I always wonder when seeing reviews if it’s people that actually work there.
This place is garbage!!! Dumpsters are always overflowing, homeless and/or drug addicts constantly around the complex, and the staff uses a thin veneer of kindness. Items will be stolen from your patio/balcony. Quiet hours are suppose to be from 10pm - 9am but maintenance likes to start yard work at 7am and children screaming or dogs barking can be heard into the early morning. Better apartments in better neighborhoods for same price. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
I like how my interation with the Office Personel has been friendly, welcoming, open minded, and understanding.
When I first joined the community, the neighbors were nice and considerate, understanding that others use the common spaces, treating the complex with respect. In the last several months, others have moved into the complex and treat the common areas as their own personal yards and space. My neighbors throw left over food and containers out their back door, presumably to feed the squirrels and birds. Other animals are being attracted to the food, such as stray cats and I am sure that raccoons and rats will be soon attracted as well. With many of the residents now having dogs and domestic cats, I am concerned about rabies and the other diseases rats and raccoons will bring. A side concern is needing to step through the mess that is left when they toss food outside. Any questions about who it is that is tossing food outside can be answered by walking around the backside of the A building. I understand it is nice to feed the birds, but much of the food being thrown out the door should not and is not consumed by the birds.
Derrick is the best! I know when I place a service request - it will be right the first time.
I would recommend this apartment because the manager, Luiko is extremely professional, nice & friendly. Every time I had reached out to her she provided me with excellent customer service. She deserves a raise. :)
Like I said, I haven't actually been to the residence, but Luiko has been extremely helpful and patient throughout the process,
The community isn't secure and there are a lot of homeless people wandering through and leaving trash, sometimes even sleeping in the stairwells.
I have lived at Sutters Square since April of 2015. The apartment is very roomy and comfy. The office staff and maintenance staff are wonderful. The grounds and common areas are kept nice and clean. I love being surrounded by all the trees. It's nice been close to the freeway and shopping as well.
This is s nice apartment community, has a good management, good maintenance team. They make us feel like home, not like an apartment;we have been living here for 3 years, we like it here.
