Property Ratings at Sutton Estates
The actual apartment was ok - nice 2 bedroom. The issue is around their reliance on Covid being an excuse. The gym and business center never opened despite every complex around having theirs open. The pool opened for only a few weeks before that closed because of “issues with the life guard company.” For no amenities, you’d think the rent may go down - it doesn’t. In walking the complex, I also noticed structural damage on the studio building. I wouldn’t recommend this complex. You can get more for your money. I will say that the office on site, particularly Monica, was extraordinary. Professional through and through and very pleasant. It seems to be issue with upper management,

The complex used to be very nice a few years ago but has since gone downhill. The lack of screening of the residents really hurt this complex. It is noisy and has strange characters hanging around inside and outside. The grounds are unkempt which can be seen in the broken concrete stairs or the busted parking lots. For some reason, there is not even an option to pay online. The management fail to appropriately address concerns such as noise complaints.

Yes the price is good but it comes with a cost. 1. Often they take days and even weeks to cash your check (they have no fee for late checks buttt they do have fee if your check bounces) 2. The way the communicate that maintenance or work is happening to your unit is the Friday before slipping a piece of paper under your door. So if you leave Friday for a trip you aren’t prepared 3. Snow removal is awful and unorganized even with their “system” 4. They never show you the actual unit just their professional designed model unit 5. Pool and gym hours are so weird you typically can only use them on the weekend (open 9am - 6pm) the gym is through the main office 6. They never clean or cover the Built in AC units so you will constantly find dirt or debris coming from it 7. There is no security at all so packages constantly get stolen Maintenance is amazing I cannot say anything bad about them

My first apartment was at Sutton Estates. I couldn’t be happier with my experience there. Maintenance is easy to reach, and management staff are professional and polite. The complex itself is quiet, and clean. I enjoyed my time at Sutton Estates, and I am sad to be leaving.

Thank you for the kind review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed your time at Sutton Estates!
I lived here for three years and I'm really going to miss this community. It was a tranquil area to relax after a long day of work. The staff and maintenance crew were always very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the free access to storage and space for our cats! The rooms were spacious with generous closets. I would recommend anyone looking for a nice quiet place to live to make their home here!

Thank you for your kind review! We are happy to hear your stay at Sutton Apartments was an enjoyable one. We pride ourselves in having a comfortable living experience for our tenants.
My wife and I lived at Sutton Apartments for a year and a half, and we have nothing but good things to share about this place. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, the apartments have a modern touch, the amenities are excellent, and most important of all the management and maintenance team is remarkable! No matter how big or small the issue, Monica from the management team has always taken care of it for us with a smiling face. And the same goes for their maintenance team, who were always available to address any of our needs. We loved the pool and the tennis courts, made for a pleasant morning/evening walk. They didn't raise our rent during the pandemic which was greatly appreciated by all tenants. To sum up, if you're looking for a place to rent in Worcester, Sutton Apartments should be the first place you check!

Thank you for writing a review of Sutton Apartments. Your positive feedback about our staff is greatly appreciated
While this apartment isn't horrible, it is overpriced for what it provides. 1. The apartment isn't as nice as the "model unit" they show you when you visit. 2. The kitchen is tiny, with only one drawer. 3. Snow removal is horrible. 4. The gym is only open during business hours (either 9-5 or 10-6, I can't remember) making it useless for most people. 5. The pool also has limited hours, and you have to pay to bring anyone besides 2 people who live in the unit. 6. If you live near the pool, or over the basement, the temperature in the bedrooms will vary a ton, making it difficult to stay warm in the winter.
We lived here for a year (mid 2017-18) and while at first we were excited, it took a turn for the worst. We DO NOT recommend living here and try to warn people of the deceitful and unethical business practices that go into the management of this and their affiliated properties. If you are looking into living here, be aware that their only intention is to get you into the lease and don’t care about how they treat you after. We met numerous other tenants that felt deceived and mistreated by the office staff and gave their own examples of incredibly terrible service, i.e. trying to send residents city tax bills or spray painting junk appliances and claiming them as new. the General Manger threatened to sue us for slander for writing a negative review! Yet she clearly authorizes the management of this property to write their own, fraudulent 5-star reviews about how great it is to live here.
Beautiful apartments and very spacious. We loved living here and would have stayed if Boston wasn't too far away from us! Staff is always very helpful. Great pool and tennis court. I would highly recommend Sutton Apartments to friends and family.
This is an extremely spacious one bedroom with huge walk-in closet in master bedroom. The grounds are extremely well kept and the staff is very nice. Among the amenities are tennis courts, an olympic size pool and saunas. It is a very convenient location close to major highways, grocery stores and good restaurants. We had a terrible winter last year and the parking lots were plowed as soon as possible. I love living here.
Great apartments and amazing, helpful staff. Very close to all the major highways. It is just 1 mile away from the biggest shopping area in Worcester/Shrewsbury.
