Sara was a blessing, she made the leasing part of this living arrangement easy - quick to answer and provide documentation. Sweetgrass is clean, quiet and feels more like home than most apartments. Thankful to have found them.

I have rented this ground floor apartment since February of 2014 and have been very satisfied here. It is quiet and peaceful where I am located. I do think the appliances have some age on them. I am basically very happy here!

It is a very peaceful community. It is very well taken care of! I love sitting on the screened-in porch and watching and listening to the wildlife and the pond fountain. Everyone we have met are so very nice. Chris the maintenance man is top notch and helps fix things quickly when needed! Althea has been very responsive!

I just signed my 3 rd lease here at Sweetgrass. I love my apartment and it’s location next to the pond . The new maintenance team is doing a great job fixed my bathroom issue within a day of sending my request. Sarah and Althea do a great job, any issues I have or questions are always handled immediately . There are always community events that are fun and creative. I enjoy living here close to everything and living in a friendly safe community .

My dishwasher was draining water on the kitchen floor. So, I put in a work order. But, the work men team were gone. So, they called in a temporary man from another property. He came and made some adjustments and left a note saying it had skipped a cycle. But, he tweaked and it was working fine. Then we hired our own work men. I came home surprised to see a tag on my door, (this is new, and much appreciated) that the workmen had been in my apartment to double check that the dishwasher was working fine. They left a detailed note telling me they had run a full cycle and the dishwasher was working fine. Without my request they double checked the work that was done in my apartment. This tells me they care about the residents, but it also tells me they care about making sure the property does not decline in quality. I am so happy I chose this apartment community to move in to. I doubt very highly I will ever leave. As I get older I might want to move to a downstairs apartment, but, it will be right here. I like being safe in a gated community. Plus when I renewed my lease I got a very upscale air fryer as a gift! When things are this good, why I ever leave? I am new at leasing, we have always owned. Now I am asking myself why? I wish I would have chose renting along time ago.

Living at Sweetgrass landing is like living at a resort. Residents and Staff are friendly and I truly enjoy the pool area as meeting place to enjoy friendships. Sweetgrass Landiing is so convenient to beaches, shopping, great restaurants and entertainment. Just a quick drive to beautiful downtown Charleston as well.

Community itself is beautiful and perfectly located. I guess when you're used to newer homes in your life moving into a refurbished apartment is not idealistic. I have very high standards and would like to keep it that way.

We love the Mt Pleasant area and Sweetgrass Landing. This is our third unit. Our Manager Sarah is very sweet and friendly. It's frustrating to not get responses in a timely manner.

I love living here!! It's quiet and beautiful. You're inside a park like setting but within a 5 minute drive to stores and restaurants. A herd of deer live in the nearby woods and they're often seen grazing on the grounds of the community.
I really enjoy living here. Wonderful community. Staff has been helpful. Even during COVID it was easy to get lease signed and set up with keys for my apartment. Slinky, the dog, enjoys the courtyard for his walks! Glad to be living here!

This place is one of the worst places I've ever lived. If I could move out tomorrow I would! I wish more people would post comments so I could of avoided this place from the start. If you want to be lied to, treated like a child, live with roaches and other bugs, have constant maintenance issues that may or may not get addressed, fleas on your dog from the dog park, trash not getting picked up and stinking, abandoned cars, weeds for grass and management more worried about flower planters outside your "area" versus what's really important, like getting the mail and package delivery issue corrected, among many other things, than this is the place for you.

Sweetgrass Landings are Condos... not Apartments in the general sense. Grounds kept up, Pool and Gymnasium... along with a Diversity of Young and Older Community... makes it pleasing to a Southern Hospitality Environment. A Place I can Truly call... My Home..!

We relocated from NH and have been here almost a year. We are very grateful for this apartment. Moving from a home, it has been large enough to allow us to feel as though this is a home. Maintenance has always answered our concerns promptly. We have never had roaches as someone else has verbalized. This area is like being in the country when we are 20 minutes from Charleston and 3 miles from multiple restaurants and shopping. Thus far we have been very pleased with this location.
To start, they will tell you you're getting a beautiful apartment and when you arrive to move in, you get a different, smaller, less desirable floor plan for the same price, and blame it on the computer system. The inside of the unit was filthy and had to be cleaned before move in. I learned this happened to 3 other neighbors in the past year. Once you sign the lease, you will be forgotten. Calls and emails aren't returned. The office staff is super friendly and nice when you see them, but buyer beware! Maintenance is only done when you request it. You would think for the price we pay for rent that the grounds would be kept up, clean and beautiful. We have to put in requests for common areas to be cleaned up, trash removal, spider webs, etc. Counting the days to the end of my lease so we can get out of here! It's unfortunate as it's a beautiful location and could be a great place to live they got their act together.

As you know, we sent photos of the floorplan that was available a few weeks before your move from out of state and confirmed the floorplan with you- we understand it is difficult leasing from out of state, therefore we have added videos to our website to prevent this in the future. You are certainly never forgotten and we are here to speak with you regarding any concerns. We have always returned your emails and phone calls promptly. You do have to request work orders if you need maintenance, and we strive to complete them within 24 hours.
