I recently moved here from Little Rock for the most part it’s ok. I just wish I had an updated apartment closer to the front with better amenities and cabinets in the kitchen and a dishwasher that works and the light in the breeze way fixed too dark at night. Staff is great no problems with management. The critters if there is a solution for them that would be GREAT. I never had an experience with critters they literally freaks me out. Like anywhere you live there is room for improvement in some areas. I really wish people wouldn’t come jump the gate. But overall so far I am a satisfied resident. M. Reese

We encourage you to stop by our office if you have any outstanding service requests we can address.
These apartments has a really bad problem with car break ins, no security camera through the whole complex, the security gate stay broken and the gate in the back has been pride open on the Raleigh Lagrange side. Something needs to be done. You all need to do better, because we to much money to not feel safe.

We lived there for 20 years. We have seen so much there. The management team cares nothing for its residents. When we first moved in , we loved it. After years, things did change for the worse. When we moved I had a hole in the main bathroom wall from were the tiles fell off for a third time. They didn't fix it the last time and it was like that for over a year. There were roaches that we couldn't get rid of. A neighbors air was out in the middle of summer and they didn't get it fixed. The people moved instead. The area is crime riddled. If you want safe, this isn't the place. This would not be a home but hell.

They need to update these apts asap!!!! They don’t want to fix anything. I’ve put in 3-4 requests & have yet to see anyone! My baby’s room has had mold on the wall for a month. Still nothing! I can’t wait til April so I can move!!!

Daughter first apartment and didn’t know any better, signed lease and I went to see it. Roaches crawling on walls, urine in toilet, carpet nasty, smelled horrible. Old food in refrigerator, roaches in dishwasher. Went to them and informed them they should be ashamed taking advantage of a young lady who is trying to move out and venture on her own. They returned her first months rent but kept deposit. NASTY

I have been living at Sycamore Lake Apartments for 2 years now. The first thing to consider is the safety. IT IS NOT GATED! The gate went up 8 months ago, and the gates have yet to be closed. It wont even matter, tho, because I see teenagers climb over the gates all the time. I have witnessed a shooting 5 yards outside my door, there are gunshots, arguments, and violence everywhere. Not a safe place. The second thing to know is the bug problem (Cockroaches, spiders, ants, and beetles). I am so desensitized to them now on account of the amount of bugs in my apartment. Lastly, and the only good part about the entire apartment, is the maintenance crew. All of my work orders have been taken care of immediately, the people are very nice, and they are in and out so quickly. As long as you pay your rent and don't make a giant scene, the office staff are also nice (only on the phone or email, they lock up the office like Covid happened yesterday). All in all, I'm moving as soon as I can.
I don't even know where to start. They don't give receipts so your rent is not safe, paid rent and was told we were being evicted 2 weeks after. Huge water bugs, brown recluse and silverfish bugs. Mgmt made up a lie and told significant other that I was kicking them out. Doors paper thin, walls paper thin, noisy ghetto neighbors. Multiple murders since we moved in, police at the pool almost every day. Disrespectful people/residents/guests have no problem hitting cars with their car doors. The rent is low for a reason. Beware. BBB reported.
It is the end of Jan. and I have been asking about renewing my lease but they don't have the rates in for March which is the month I moved in last year. I'm not big on the management at all but anytime I've needed anything done as far as maintenance for my apt. I have been satisfied with that. There have been several crime issues here on the property but nothing that has affected me directly. However, I feel if a complex has good tenants that haven't caused any problems they should try to keep them onboard and from what I am understanding my rent is probably going up. The reason I chose this property to begin with was because I could afford it, but if my monthly rent goes up I may have to try to find somewhere else to go. One big issue I have is there are 10 washers and 10 dryers on the facility for those of us who don't have a washer/dryer in their apts. Well, these washer/dryers do not work all of the time, they do not take care of the laundry facility at all and if you lose money in the machines on the weekend you have to wait until Monday to get your money back and they really don't want to give it back. If you put out of order signs on the washer/dryers that aren't working properly they will remove the signs although they haven't fixed them.
Assistant manager is very rude. I attempted to move here & the young lady who handled everything for me was wonderful but the assistant manager treated me less than human and was very argumentative. She made everything difficult and was sure to argue with everything I asked. Safe to say they will NOT get my money and I'm glad I saw all of this beforehand. Very unprofessional.
I lived in these apartments for about 2.5 years and the entire stay I had about 6-7 plumbing issues. The apartments are quick to come and resolve the issue but never really resolves the main issue. The pipes backed up in my tub, toilets and into my hallway. There were real live turds and tissue paper in my tub and bathroom floor; hallway as well. Usually both bathrooms were an issue if any plumbing issues occurred. The manager(Oterria) in the office was always rude with an attitude as it seemed. I never wanted to deal with her only the regular reps or workers. After moving out I was hit with a bill for the counter tops being scratched really bad( mind you the counter tops were painted with regular wall paint) So whether i'm cutting something across the counter or using chemicals to disinfect my counter top it peeled and constantly at that. I was charged for nasty bathrooms which I cleaned already( Truthfully the caulk underneath the toilets were stained really bad and that's all) Must I remind the Apts that the toilets constantly flooded with waste so even bleach did not make the caulk back white. (But do you think maintenance changed the caulk for me without me complaining?) "Nope" I was also charged for turning my keys in late, so I got hit with additional rent. Mind you I had already spoken with someone in the office about my keys being lost, so truthfully I understood that I would be charged for the lost keys and those only. I will never move in a CLK management Apt if its the last thing I do.
