Property Ratings at Sycamore Landing
If you are looking to stay longer than 1 year. Don't. They raise rent prices by $300 a month after the first year. Very big pain to have to move out after just 12 months due to the extremely high raise in rent
I was not sure of the property and location when I first inquired but all that changed as soon as I walked through the front door. I was warmly greeted not only by the front desk and leasing but also got to meet management all within my first few moments there. Leasing was very transparent about all costs of the apartment upfront and the models were absolutely beautiful! I look forward to moving into my new apartment here later this year
I have lived at Sycamore Landing for 5 months and I must say I am enjoying my time here. The residents event have added so much value to my residency here as I have made friends at the community. The staff is super helpful and they always go above and beyond to accommodate my requests. The apartment is beautiful, made with quality finishes and is comfortable. It is so peaceful here, the landscaping is beautiful and well kept.
Sycamore Landing leaves a lot to be desired!! Communication is extremely poor! Their idea of effective communication is..... taping notes to your door! I often feel like any questions or concerns I pose are a "burden" to management. There have been a few instances where the property manager and corporate office often play human "ping pong" giving no clear and concise answers to general questions and after you speak to one, they inform you to communicate with the other, who in turn tells you to turn right around and speak to corporate again (and the ridiculous cycle continues). I feel like I am looked at as just a "person who pays the rent" instead of being looked and treated as a VALUED TENANT!! , While the property itself is nice, there are so many ridiculous and expensive EXTRA FEES and HIDDEN COSTS that the tenant pays for. Don't be too blown away by the amenities (pool, gym, pool table, movie room and mini business office) because unlike many other apartment complexes, YOU (the tenant) are obligated to pay an ADDITIONAL FEE of $400 "amenity fee" annually, that is NOT embedded in the rent!!! They are collecting an additional $400 from hundreds of tenants here for amenities that almost every other property offers you for free as a luxury or embed a much cheaper rate into your monthly rent! So... here's more about some of these $400 amenities….The pool is outdoor (seasonal), the business center computers do not even have Microsoft Word installed on them (one of the most basic programs) and the printer is often broken. Both the rent and amenity fee have increased in one 1 year!! There is a HUGE insect infestation in and around the property. They look like little inch worms and are disgusting. They some how find their way into your apartment and are all over the patios, walkways and even in the bottom of the pool! There is ONLY ONE cable provider in the area that you are permitted to use (Service Electric) which offers very few bundle deals (internet, cable and phone) at alarmingly high rates. The installation is so poor that I am often woken up by neighbors music, conversations and walking (above me). These are just a few of the glaring issues with Sycamore Landing!!!
I have lived in a good amount of apartments before and this one is hands down the worst. The windows were installed incorrectly so you can see your curtains moving when the wind was blowing outside. This also led to bugs getting into the apartment, which was brought up to the property manager Maha twice before anything was done. Let’s put it this way this was a brand new apartment and I had about 8 service requests put in for one year. That’s more by far then any apartment I lived in total. Moving out was a disaster as I received a bill from collections almost a half year after being gone that we owed money for paint being on the molding. Numerous attempts were made to contact Maha who might as well be the president given she is just as hard to get a hold of or give a call back. I ended up just paying the bill to not hurt my credit, but I can hands down say I’ve never dealt with a worse property manager, literally useless. The only five star thing about this apartment is the sales team and maintenance man, they were amazing and apologetic about everything. So long story short unless you wanna overpay for a cheaply made apartment and would like a short walk to the zombie apocalypse refuge Phillipsburg mall, Id go over the bridge to nicer cheaper apartments.
I'm quite pleased with my decision to join apartment living at The Sycamore Landing. The property features several amenities with fun living and group activities. The staff at the complex are very accommodating and helpful when dealing with my disability. My special thanks to the Manager, Consultants, Concierge and Maintenance Crew in handling the issues that popped up prior to our leasing transaction and beyond. Come and see what I'm talking about!

Thank you for your lovely review! We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience here at Sycamore Landing!
This property has many perks. Easy access to highways and nightlife in Easton (quick Uber ride). The best part is the staff and concierge service. It makes you feel like you're at a hotel. Jael at the front desk is always cheerful and ready to help with anything I might need. The clubhouse also signs for packages and I can pick them up until 10:00PM! It also helps that the apartments are new and furnished with great appliances. Highly recommended!

Sycamore Staff can’t thank you enough for your kind review! We will try to keep up the good work!
We moved to Sycamore Landing in October 2017 and it has been an absolute dream. After living here, I can't imagine living in another apartment complex. The apartments are gorgeous and have every amenity you can think of (walk-in showers, smart washers and dryers, double vanities, under cabinet lighting, etc.). But beyond that, the staff are amazing and treat you like family. They know our names, made an effort to get to know us, and are so friendly. It really feels like a community here. The office team plans events for the residents (Sunday breakfasts, hot chocolate nights, Super Bowl parties, wine and cheese nights, etc.) and really go out of their way to make sure we enjoy everything. Overall, you really can't ask for anything more when it comes to apartment living: beautiful, modern, apartments with lots of natural light, clean and well-equipped facilities (clubhouse, pool, gym, etc.), events for residents, responsive maintenance team, and friendly faces everywhere you look.
