Sycamore Terrace

I’ve lived here for three years and if you don’t have any issues it’s great living here. Until you need something fixed or their website goes down you won’t be able to reach ANYONE. If their website is down and you try to pay rent good luck trying to get into the clubhouse because there’s never anyone there. On the off chance you get a hold of someone and tell them what you need they don’t respond and don’t do what they say they’ll do.

The current staffing is fantastic and I greatly appreciate Shandi and Tyler and everything they do to try an accommodate the residents.

The community is safe and private and in a quiet area. The apartment was updated and clean and the property itself was well-groomed.

Would for convenience feel safe here,management and maintenance friendly, and everything clean well kept!

I would absolutely recommend this apartment community. It's quiet, the faculty is always helpful and polite and I feel very safe living here. Even when I have to take my pets outside at 3am.

There is a sense of security here. I don't think twice about walking my dogs after dark.

Good clean complex with all the needs met for a standard living space. Cost of the apartment does exceed the level of luxury offered.

The staff here are great, and the amenities in the common areas are well-maintained.

This apartment community is high quality, is at a great location, is accommodating of pets, has polite, friendly, and timely staff, has nice neighbors, and has a swimming pool.

I would recommend recommend overall. Issues I have are regarding large dogs..sounds like a herd of horses when neighbors depart for work and arrive home (late evening/early morning), stepping in dog poop, neighbor setting out trash Friday night, numerous dog poop bags on their front porch for me to look at each day, plus all the unsightly trash we see upon entering the whole complex and out back of my apartment.

This is an amazing place. Private entry doors, quite, clean and very well maintained. Close to many amenities and the freeway. I'm glad we chose Sycamore Terrace.

The apartments are very nice, and the on site staff is fantastic. Two stars only because of their icy cold lease terms (from Steadfast Apartment REIT, Inc.). After being laid off because of COVID then finding another job out of state, I was still required to pay for 2 months' rent because their lease requires you to provide 60 days notice of leaving regardless of "voluntary or involuntary job transfer, marriage, separation, divorce, reconciliation, loss of co-residents, loss of employment, bad health, or death." Do not sign a lease here if you don't want to pay them even post-mortem.

The apartments are beautiful and the staff are extremely kind and helpful

This is a wonderful community to live in. So far its quiet and safe and very peaceful. I do call it home. Very convenient to businesses too. The office and leasing consultants are very professional and great( especially Kara). She has done so much and her personality its awesome.!!

The manager is fantastic, the area is clean, friendly, luxurious, and super well placed in terms of location.

the staff is not good, they are AMAZING. So kind and courteous and always go out of their way to get your questions answered and needs met!

The staff is friendly, the apartments are nice, and we liked where we were at and just moved into a bigger apartment.

I like how updated everything was and the location. The only reason I would not recommend it to some of my friends or family is because it is pricey.

I would recommend this apartment community to those who could afford to pay for washer/dryer units and furniture (or already has furniture. Overall I don't believe the price reflects what is offered.

The office staff are awesome. We have told everyone if they are looking for an apartment to move here. We are looking forward to the warm weather to enjoy the pool.

Timely quality maintenance service is very important for tenants. Sycamore Terrace in general does a great job regarding service. I had only one negative experience regarding my service but the managers resolved so issues. The managers are amazing at Sycamore

I would definitely recommend this community. We had a warming welcome. Everything is good so far, quiet, and just a well feels like home. The girls in the office are so nice and its easy o communicate with them and feel comfortable to be around. Haven't yet used the gym or pool but I'm sure they will be great and relaxing. We are happy to be living I'm this community.

It’s a great, quiet, upscale neighborhood and the apartments are very well kept and modern. I love it here!

We have already recommended this community to other potential renters. The location to our needs in Terre Haute was perfect.

Administrator Laura, Brooke and Staff including maintenance personnel of Sycamore Terrace apartment are made up of genuinely good human beings and capable professionals. I’m leaving the community now for unfortunate reasons but certainly I would desire to return to the Sycamore Terrace apartment and I highly recommend this complex to anyone who seeks a place for good living.

The time it took to get service puts my rating lower but if future request are done in a quicker manner my rating will increase

I am not sure what I would do at this time. There are sometimes where the service from the office staff is excellent, but it also seems that the service staff is understaffed

I felt that this community was wonderful. Its beautiful, I am happy with what they offer, it was also close to my home family, which is a big positive. it seemed like a quit place and its close to shopping as well. They only 2 issues I had, was the price is a little higher then what we would like it to be, but hey you grt what uou pay for. And also that it doesn't have a laundry facility or washer/dryer in the units. But at least the leasing consultant explained that they can have us rent one through them, which is a plus. Especially the leasing consultant we had Kara, oh my goodness she was wonderful and so excited to talk with us and have us tour with her. I mean she was amazing, and so professional, if felt as if she was a friend of ours. I felt so comfortable with her.

Community is very quiet and well located to points of interest.

Need more strict enforcement on cigarette smoking policies. Also need more dog waste bag stations.

Compared to other apartment complexes in the area the location of Sycamore Terrace is great! 5 minutes from downtown, grocery stores and other restaurants right around, nice and quiet/secluded.

I love this community. And would recommend it. Just was a little disappointed in how long it took for maintenance to address the issue. Especially with the breaker box. But I really appreciated him going above and beyond by fixing our lights without us requesting.

Community was clean, well cared for, and safe. Apartments were well maintained. Staff was all very friendly and responsive. After 10 years of living in apartments this was my favorite one.

They fixed the problems in my kitchen in a timely manner!

From the first time I visited Sycamore Terrance, I felt welcomed and like it was a place I could call home. I had a very unique move in situation with a lot of things that could have been complicated and difficult and the staff made things simple and easy. From the beginning, Laura said ST would be the easiest part of my move and it was! She went above and beyond at every step of the process, even last minute additions to the apartment based on my health needs. I can't speak highly enough about Laura and her staff. ST is a great property in the area, but the personal treatment by the staff made choosing ST an easy decision.

I will withhold recommendations until I see if you properly take care of snow/ice when it arrives. Your change in lawn care/snow care contractor has been a disaster. I did not enjoy falling 3 times on the ice

I have always been happy with the quality of the maintenance at this community and with the kindness and professionalism of the people who deliver it. It's just that in this case, we need to get the hole in the ceiling patched. It also falls to me because I didn't make a reminder call.

My concerns have always been addressed timely and the quality of the amenities are more than I expected.

I was a resident for 3 years. Then I got priced out. I will pay for amenities to a point. That point was before my rent went up $300.

I would not recommend anyone staying here. The big wigs that live in California they dont pay enough to the maintance or office people enough to deal with everyone that lives here.
