While the apartment itself is lovely, the management's lack of responsiveness has made my stay increasingly frustrating. Despite numerous attempts to resolve various issues, such as problems with the windows and an ant infestation, I have had to constantly follow up with no results. Even after my first experience of this I had made a comment that I hope this was not indicative of what was to come. Alas, my efforts to address these concerns have been met with delays and vague responses. The nonresponse from the initial management team prompted me to escalate the issue to upper management, which was surprisingly difficult to navigate. After finally determining the right person to contact, I was assured that I would be contacted by the appropriate individual on or by Thursday. I understand that everyone can get busy and that there may be more pressing matters, so I followed up the following Monday to check on the status. My initial email was sent to them on July 29th. On August 6th, I received an email indicating that someone would ‘likely’ reach out to me on the 8th. When that never happened, I reached out once more. This time, I received an apology for the delay and was scheduled for a phone call to discuss my concerns—concerns which had already been detailed in emails and a previous phone call. Unfortunately, but not surprisingly, the call that they scheduled, never happened. What’s especially frustrating is that this is where I live. My home is very important to me, and I expect it to be a peaceful and well-maintained space. As a renter, I feel very vulnerable, with little leverage to address these issues effectively. I can only imagine how much they might raise my rent when my lease is up, adding another layer of concern to an already stressful situation. I want to emphasize that I am not one to leave negative reviews lightly. I prefer to address issues directly with management. However, the ongoing lack of responsiveness and follow-through has left me feeling completely disregarded as a tenant. Given the persistent issues with communication and resolution, I cannot recommend Sygnii Apartments based on my current experience. I hope this review prompts management to address these problems urgently and restore some level of confidence in their tenant services as I’ve noticed every review gets a response to contact management directly. I have done this in spades.
I would recommend living elsewhere. I am actively looking for somewhere else. Getting ahold of the management team is hard in itself. A lot of times, even during weekdays, they have some answering service that can really only take a message for the actual management team. Like another reviewer, I've been having issues with an upstairs neighbor and the amount of noise they make. Also spilling stuff into our patio. Management asked for video proof if possible which I provided over a month and a half of evidence. After providing that and not hearing back, i was required to reach out to them multiple times before them telling me "to keep providing more content" with really no end in sight. I doubt they were ever contacted because the constant banging and shaking of my apartment has continued since. Leaving me with the only option to contact security which I doubt ever results in anything. Residents constantly leave trash bags around the ground of the trash areas, even when there's plenty of space in the dumpsters. Which then leaves it to the maintenance crew to clean up. This is apart from the dog poop that is EVERYWHERE. They could benefit from more waste stations but I doubt the people that live here would even be considerate enough to use them. Parking can be an issue as others have stated when residents park in two spaces. I had recently reached out to management to acquire a spot and the conversation died out after two emails (I shouldn't have to nag you so I can spend money). They recently sent out a mass email stating they would be "cracking down" on people leaving trash, smoking on the property and parking incorrectly. Well if you don't even have enough staff to answer a phone, reply to an email or keep the office open, who is supposedly going to be tracking down these offenders?? It’s just a bunch of weak talk. Do yourself a favor and save some Money. I would say the only bright spot is the maintenance crew. They are friendly and reliable when a notice is submitted.

Property management has changed a few times since I've moved in and we've got a new one recently. The very 1st was great (as the property was brand new.) and feels like it's not same any longer. I hope this new company will do better.

It' expensive, no amenities during covid. Sometimes the energy bill is very expensive. (The yes energy bill with water sewer gas)

This community has been so welcoming and helpful to me! I have lived here for almost three years now. My neighbors are wonderful and the leasing office has been so easy to deal with. Alisha in the office has gone above and beyond for me on multiple occasions, it has made me feel supported and accommodated as a resident that I want to continue to live here! Great place to live!

There needs to be more grass for pets to walk on. The dog run looks like dirt and not appealing. Also, you should offer 6 months lease option with higher rent for families that are looking for temporary housing while building a home.

Loved the many windows, the carpet and all flooring, the kitchen finishes and the ammenities the property offers. The leasing agent followed up with calls and emails and was a very good representative of the property. She was friendly and informative, and not the least bit pushy. I would recommend her to anyone looking for an apartment.

I moved in last month and absolutely love it here. The apartments are stunning and new and the community has a ton of amenities including an Olympic size pool, hot tub, 24-hour fitness center & fitness trainer, coffee bar, and more. I have not 1 but 2 balconies!!! It's pet-friendly and has a dog park... plus there is a nature trail right nearby. The best part is the location. I moved here from downtown Portland and my lifestyle has improved significantly. There is a Wholefoods down the road and I just joined Orange Theory Fitness, which is literally walking distance away. Moving to Sygnii was the best decision ever. I highly recommend moving here!!

Not a good place to live, mainly because of management, staff, and pricing....those three things are kinda important, right? Non-residents get the same parking privileges as paying residents. Marissa, the current (she won't last long I'm sure) manager doesn't mind because it makes the Sygnii complex look more occupied when outside parties park there. The reality is that their rent is way too expensive, creating inflated vacancy. The residents in the more affordable apartments across the street use the Sygnii parking lot, leaving paying residents and guests as the losers in this situation. There was a car alarm going off every 30 minutes for 3 days right next to her leasing office (parked right next to the pool). I lived a few buildings down and work out of a home office, so this was quite the annoyance. I brought up the issue with a staff, and was surprised to hear that Marissa knew about it (she lives in one of the units right next to the pool) but did nothing about it for three days. I notified the manager that I would escalate the issue if something wasn't done, at which point she she threw her staff under the bus, saying her hires are new to the industry and that's the reason it wasn't taken care of earlier. She then finally called a tow truck. When it came time for my lease to renew I had three separate staff members ask me the same question: 'would you stay if we lowered your rate?'. They literally don't care about anything other than taking your money, and when I said it would have to be a big rate reduction none of the staff responded. The rent here is far too expensive for such an amateur staff and no perks.

New management company not nearly as attentive and personable. Then I was charged a cleaning fee on move out - why? Didn'??t see that in my lease and the place was left in great shape. The carpets were a problem, but were during our tenure. They cleaned the carpets for us while we lived there since previous tenant stains kept coming back on carpet. A review of our records would have verified this..,

These apartments are beautiful and I feel like the quality of the materials used is very high. I lived at Terrene and LOVED my experience there so I am expecting it to be the same at Sygnii.

The only reason I wouldn't recommend this apartment community is because the rent is so high. It's a beautiful place!

No central AC, no place for charging EV, less consideration for environmental issues.

The parking in the community is horrible. Generally I have to park outside of the community or on the other side of the community to find parking. I see a lot of cars that have been in the same spots for multiple weeks at a time. Not to mention the amount of dings on my new car after living here. If you don't close the front door properly it sounds like a bomb going off in my apartment (loud boom and shaking every time someone closes their door). The apartments facing scholls ferry could have been better sound proofed. The apartments themselves are beautiful.

Inside, the apartment is amazing. I love the finishes and the light. Neighbor noise is minimal. Outside, we have a continuing issue with people smoking on property and disposing of cigarette butts in the garden beds. We also have a large issue of people not picking up their dog poop. While I understand that this is not the apartment's fault, I do feel like you have an obligation to keep the grounds clean. And it doesn't seem like a lot to ask that someone walks the property every day picking up this stuff.

Smoking policy needs to be enforced more according to lease agreement. Agreement states no smoking within 25 feet of property yet people routinely violate rule

I would recommend the apartments to everyone, but would caution that rent is very expensive and parking is very limited.

It would be nice if the cement steps leading up to the different floors of the building are routinely cleaned. They are becoming unsightly due to daily usage, and no one sweeps or power washes the area like I am seen take place in other complexes.

I would recommend this apartment because it is clean and well kept,not crowded,the office personnel are nice people. I feel safe here, plenty of light at night. The units are excellent perfect layout. My friends would love it here :)
Love living here, moved in about 4 months ago. Gorgeous interior and exterior. Super friendly, supportive and helpful staff. Great porch, extra storage, open floor plan, quiet, awesome pool/gym/common area. Feels super safe. Really enjoy walking to the park nearby. Plus my corgi loves living here too! Come live here and bring your pet! Best place i've lived so far in the greater Portland area (and I grew up here).
Lizzy was super amazing during my leasing experience. She addressed all of my concerns, and made sure that she created the apartment of dreams. Syngii has been a vast improvement to my other living experience in the past. Great people, amazing culture, and even a better location.
I put an application in when these were first being built. Andie helped me and is the nicest, most helpful person you could ask for. The application process was easy and straight forward and totally stress free. I recently took a tour of the spec units and was blown away. They are just gorgeous. So clean, simple and bright. They far exceeded my expectations and they are priced lower than surrounding apartments that are old smelly and don't even compare. I'd would absolutely recommend.
