I do love it here! My apartment is beautiful, maintenance is awesome and proactive, and the amenities are a nice plus. My only complaint is the trash build up near the chutes :(. We have the option to leave are recyclables near the chute, but it just looks a mess!

The move-in was smooth and without any hassles. We did not receive welcome kit or the inventory form to fill. We also had to put in some maintenance request on the first day itself as important things were out of order.

I’ve enjoyed living here over the past year and have renewed my lease. I really like the apartment itself and the amenities are nice. My only real gripe is that I’ve been trying to get a storage unit for a while and while the leasing staff is always nice and helps as much as possible, it’s been over a week and I’m still waiting on management to get back to me about leasing the actual unit and filling out the paperwork, getting the keys, etc. Also, worth noting because valet trash has been terrible everywhere else I’ve lived - valet trash here is always on time and it’s always the same guy doing it, who’s super nice and I can tell works really hard.

All about locations - next to the train and cityline restaurants and it looks like they are investing more in the neighborhood Great locations and with silver line soon to be complete it will make traveling to my fav places even more easier

The staff is amazing Nikki and Mercedes are the best at assisting you with leasing and with any need you maybe facing. When I moved in I expected that if I had a maintenance issue it would take like weeks or sometimes months as that was what I have been accustomed to, but it’s sometimes in hours. What like blew my mind I appreciate all up-heads information when something is happening on the property I love this place

Unsafe, pool always has loud parties til 1am with drunk people screaming, tow company told us car jackers park cars in our parking garage, dangerous dog lives on our floor, tries to attack my dog every time we run into it and it’s owner, I’ve expressed this and have had zero response from management. Packages always stolen, no lock sensor anywhere in the building so it’s scary to walk around here at night.

It took a while to view our apartment due to changes in make ready contractors. The assistant manager Mecrcedes was very instrumental in resolving our issues, even offering other units that were available. We finally got our keys, we love it!!!

The property is nice. Complex always has events, ease of use throughout the entire community. The only downfall is if there’s any major storm expect to be without power or hot water.

While the location may be appealing, the rent at Sync seems overpriced compared to similar apartments in the area. On several occasions, it took a significant effort to get help. Feeling valued as a resident is important to me, and unfortunately, I haven't experienced that at Sync. In previous places I've lived, I've felt more valued as a tenant.

This apartment community is a mess. Residents freely leave their trash outside all day, ignoring proper disposal procedures. The stench of rotting garbage in the trash chutes permeates the entire building. To make matters worse, dogs are allowed to mark their territory on your front door, and the leasing office turns a blind eye. The complex is essentially an open door to non-residents, resulting in stolen packages and daily car break-ins due to a perpetually malfunctioning gate. Trying to reach the leasing office is a futile endeavor they don't answer calls or respond to emails. Save yourself the trouble; I won't be renewing my lease, and I strongly advise against leasing here. Currently there is a gas leak in the building, tenants have been without hot water and gas for days!

Management won't fix anything. Our AC stopped cooling 8 times over the year and a half we lived here, with our apartment reaching upwards of 86 degrees for several days. We had to stay elsewhere. They obviously had no sense of urgency fixing it each time or finding a permanent fix. We reached out to the property management company directly and they sent someone within a day or so, and the AC worked again for... one month. Our fridge stopped getting water all together over a month before we moved out, despite maintenance knowing about it, it was yet to be fixed the day we moved out... If you like working out and think you'll use the gym, don't. It takes 4-5 months for them to fix anything in there, if they fix it at all. The staff is obviously unfamiliar with the equipment as well as unfamiliar with attention to detail all together. I guarantee i could walk into that gym right now and the pulley on the cable pull down machine would still be missing. Despite us extending our lease a few days, we still got a very rude, condescending text from management on our original move out date demanding our keys and money. They said it was an "oversight and clerical error," no kidding. The building's fire alarms went off constantly, giving you a great opportunity to chat with your neighbors outside at 3am often, even on Christmas day if you're lucky (which we were, yay). There was literally a fire in our stair well from a gas leak. Lastly, if you want to have even a small box truck of belongings, you cant even get the truck to the service elevator like you can across the street. You have to parallel park the truck in the street and walk your things to the elevator while cars are going in and out of the garage constantly. Oh and I forgot, even after we registered our cars with them in their database they still towed my wife's car and tried to tell us we had to pay over $300 to get it back. I've lived in $500/mo apartments with better management than this place.

They really don't care about their customers. I've been trying to get a hold of Resident Retention Specialist Since July 4. and she never responded to my call.

Hidden fees come at you from all different directions. Horrible experience at this building. Multiple theft and break in’s at the building. Don’t rent here. In 2018, Gas was cutoff so many times and had to pay out of pocket for all meals. The last Gas cutoff lasted for weeks. DON’T RENT AT THIS PROPERTY
Quite simply this apartment complex sucks. Avoid it! There's plenty of other complexes in Cityline to go to. It's loud, there's no security, the hallways and stairways reek, dog poop everywhere, and the staff is inconsistent, unhelpful, and on some occasions rude.
Gas has been out 3 times since moving here for days at a time. No communication has been given for four days from the office. No offers to reimburse on food or rent for all the 5 days we've now had to eat out. Don't live here. It's a safety and health hazard that you can't even cook food in.
I do not feel safe here. The GAS LEAKS are a health and safety risk to all the residents. This problem should have been fixed last month when I first notified them I was smelling gas near my unit (2nd building third floor vicinity). I also have not heard of management offering any compensation for food, loss of use, or for inhaling natural gas for these months. Let’s see how this plays out. We may have waived our rights to a class action (per our lease agreements), but we can still all take action individually. They need to do the right thing here immediately. Will update this review accordingly.
Save yourself a lot of stress and pain by not living here. Cons: -gas is out constantly! It’s been out 3x since I’ve moved in. And the best part? No offer for rent or food reimbursement since I’ve had to eat out for four days while it’s out. Classy. -If you love the sound of constant construction - especially early on weekends - this is the place for you! But really, if you rely on your apartment to study or work from home, loud and constant construction work will be your companion. -You will never get a response to an email or phone call. If you want to say anything to staff, you’ll have to go in person. But don’t expect them to have answers to anything. When will these construction noises end? When will the parking garage door be fixed? When will gas be turned back on? - nothing. And no feeling to follow up and find out for you either. -no security. Parking garage is unlocked and there’s been quite a few break ins reported recently -half the time your packages are left at your door and stolen vs using the package concierge The only pro is that they’re new so they are clean upon move in.
Although the apartments are nice the management here is terrible. They are openly rude when you have a question, they do not give clear instructions, and they will blame you for things they messed up on their end. The water pressure here is non existent and they won’t have your move in specials ready even after a month of living here. Do yourself a favor and sign somewhere you’re appreciated
Upon arrival the property was very impressing. It is in a very convenient location, right by the expressway, restaurants, shops and boutiques, great health food markets, and it is the 3rd to last stop on the Dart rail going north to Plano. The amenities they offer are awesome! I love the work out room along with the yoga studio. They have all types of events for the residents on the property. I can't imagine being pool-side during the summer time with the beautiful views, and relaxing furniture. It is very inviting. You can tell the administrative team cares for their residents. We were greeted as soon as well stepped foot into the front office. Our Leasing agent Christopher Darbey was by far the best leasing agent that we have seen! This was the second month my husband and I had been searching for a great property to call home. We actually stumbled upon this property by accident just conveniently located in the area we had saved a few of our searches. Once we met Chris, he made us feel soo comfortable and really cared about our well-being and decision making process. This property delivers the service that anyone would want for a luxury property like the Alexan! Thank you for this experience!
