Property Ratings at Synergy at the Mayfair
My experience living in this apartment complex has been mixed, with some positives overshadowed by numerous issues. Pros: - Quiet Environment: The property is relatively quiet, which is a major plus for those who value peace and tranquility. - Friendly Maintenance Team: The maintenance staff is very friendly and does a good job with basic maintenance tasks. - Carwash: The carwash, which was out of service throughout most of the last year, has recently been repaired and is now working as expected. Cons: - Incomplete Maintenance: Many maintenance tasks are left half-done, such as wall patchings that remain unpainted. This lack of follow-through affects the overall appearance and upkeep of the property. - Poor Landscaping: The landscaping and lawn care need significant attention, which detracts from the complex's aesthetic appeal. - Ineffective Management: The leasing and management team was previously poor, characterized by broken promises. Although a new manager has started, there has been little improvement. Issues like most residents not being added to the Butterfly call box and several doors not unlocking with the keyfob persist. - Package Handling Issues: Packages are often dumped in the package room instead of being placed in the provided lockers, leading to frequent instances of lost or stolen packages. - Problematic Parking Policy: The new parking patrol system seems more like a money grab (via tows) than a genuine effort to improve security. Renters must register their cars by providing unnecessary documentation, such as car registration details, which feels intrusive and excessive. The policy fails to address fundamental issues like unauthorized garage access and restricts renters from allowing others to use their paid parking spot. The proposed enforcement methods, such as checking stickers and license plates, seem impractical compared to the previous system of using transferable tags. Overall, while the property has some positive aspects, significant improvements are needed in management, maintenance, and policy enforcement to provide a satisfactory living experience.
My husband and I really enjoy our stay at Synergy, the place is safe, the amenities are awesome, the social room, storage area, trash area, in unit washer dryer, heated parking are so convenient especially after long day at work, Kudos to the management, Lisa and Justice
Since UV or New Earth or whatever they are now took over in October, communication has been non-existent. The mail room is freighting to walk in to. Some hallways smell like strong weed. What once was a great place is now a nightmare.
I lived here for a year and a half under the old owners, and the experience was fantastic. Once the new owners took over, the service has been horrible. My heat was out for more than a month, and it took me going to the leasing office and complaining for days until they finally fixed it. Almost everyone that I have talked to here has echoed my feelings as well. Do not live here.

The physical plant is not working, the common areas are not maintained, and the staff is surly and openly hostile to the tenants. I was cursed out for mentioning that an elevator was not working. Conversations among tenants reveal lots of very unhappy people. I am looking to move and cannot wait until my lease is up! I give one star only because zero is not an option. Avoid this place until the owners realize what a terrible mistake they made in changing the property management.

This is an awesome community. It is in a great location. You have a Whole Foods next door. They even have a car wash!! The staff was great to. I worked with Adam and he make the process so smooth.

The amount of noise in this complex is ridiculous between construction and the people who live here (the walls have to be paper thin). The leasing agents themselves are great but the property manager is rude and condescending. While “dog friendly” people don’t clean up after their pets and there’s no green space or areas to walk your pets.

My boyfriend and I chose this apartment complex because we loved the company from a previous apartment. These apartments are a complete waste of money. Management does not respond appropriately to resident concerns. Someone got kidnapped from the parking garage. Pets are constantly noisy and owners leave pet waste everywhere including in the hallways. It also always wreaks of weed and management does nothing to actually figure out who is breaking rules. Additionally there is an elevator broken down at least once a week and construction that has broken through the walls in the stairwells. Just don’t waste your money. I wish I didn’t.
