Property Ratings at Tabor Pointe Apartments
I've been here for about a year and they are nice apartments. The people who run the place are super friendly and they seem like they really try to work with you. For the price point, I couldn't really find anything better and I looked at a decent amount of places at the time. The living room, kitchen, and master bedroom are quite spacious and they come with a washer and dryer. The 2nd bedroom is quite small. There's a bus stop conveniently located just in front. I've also never heard any of my neighbors besides the front door closing; the walls seem pretty well insulated. Here are the things I don't like: 1. There's no air-conditioning in my apartment, so you're required to use a portable air conditioner; they told me they don't allow window units either because of sliding windows and as a safety hazard. 2. It's located on SE Division, which is a very busy street! Unfortunately, I'm near the front so it's quite loud to the point where I'll have to close the windows daily otherwise I can't hear anything but the traffic. It's quite annoying especially when it's really nice out. 3. There isn't assigned parking. Sometimes when I come home late from work, especially a Saturday, I'll have to park near the other apartment buildings because they are full. Also a quick note, I've never seen the parking lot completely full so you shouldn't have to worry about parking on the street. 4. The surrounding neighborhood is a little sketchy. A couple of months ago there were a couple of cars broken into on the next street, but as long as you stay within the parking lot and the apartments you're fine. The parking lot is very well lit.
I currently live at Tabor Pointe Apartments and Have lived there for about 7 months. So far I love these apartments, they have two spacious room and 2 bath rooms so my roommate and I have our own bathroom. We have great washers and dryers in the apt, And the best part is they have GAS stoves. That is what sold me on the place. We also have gas fire place but haven't used it yet. I think the only down fall is there isn't a whole of storage but we are making do. I really love this place I have lived at several apartments around town these are by far the best. No pets allowed and no smoking. No assigned parking but there are enough spaces for every apt to have one car. We close to a max stop so its convenient for my roommate who doesn't have a car. But the most important thing I think is the Manager is great very friendly and easy to talk to.
The interior of these apartments are nice but don't expect to have all the amenities working that they list. I've lived here less than 2 months and have a problem with my freezer. It's been over a month now and I'm still waiting for a fix. I asked to be compensated by having some money off of my rent and the owner said NO. . The managers are great people it's the greedy owner that is the issue. Also, the plumbing in these units are awful. You can hear each and every time your neighbor flushes the toilet. Fun times at 3am. Also, it lists A/C as an feature, only in the studios are there A/C. This is going to be a very long one year lease.

I am the manager of these apartments. We had an appliance repair person fix this ice maker. When it still didn't work we purchased a new refrigerator.
