I went to check out the new apartment complex across the street from HEB on Independence Drive. They are brand new. They have an elevator and a covered carport for residents. I thought that was amazing. However , the amenities did not compare to Tacara's place. Their gym is very tiny with limited equipment. The gym hours ended at 10pm. The clubhouse is actually an extension from the leasing office and also closes at 10pm. They have no storage closets. Their balconies are very tiny. We have no idea how good we have it here at Tacara. The grass is definitely not greener elsewhere. I love it here

Dogs are constantly off leash. Maintenance man is good at his job, but management is unhelpful and combative with resident issues. Units are also poorly redone, like cracks in the island and various stains on wall/ceiling. It’s an expensive place to live.

Nice, well maintained community. The property is kept up by maintenance and the management communicates with the residents about issues, upcoming events and any changes to the property.

Ive only been living here for a few weeks, but I’m already happy with my choice to live here! The location is great. The staff has been incredibly friendly and helpful, making the move-in process smooth and welcoming. The spaces are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable.

We have loved living here the past year and a half. The amenities are always clean, and we’re in a great neighborhood. The staff is always so helpful! It’s never too noisy.

Great place to live! “Small” community. We just moved in but so far seems very quiet. The amenities are nice, I just wish they heat the pool a little. Only thing I don’t like is that they came in to our apartment without our permission to do repairs and that was extremely worrisome, we felt our privacy got violated. Other than that so far so good! I would definitely recommend Tacara, Westpointe.

So far so good. I wish the gym had more free weights and machines. A barbell would be really nice. Outside of that, I haven't had the chance to check out the other amenities.

Everyone here is extremely kind! I always take my kids to the pool and they have so much fun talking with everyone they run into. They love it here!

Very quiet an love accessibility to all near restaurants and stores. Love my home here at Tacara. Enjoy the summers especially at the pool with my grandchildren when they visit.

Tacara continues to be a great place to live. We’ve been here five years going on six. Management resolves any issues quickly and the facility crew is quick to respond to any issues.

I love living here! The move in process was smooth and the front office has been so helpful, it’s been so great! The unit is modern and sleek, with upgraded appliances and a beautiful white paint finish. I also love the ambient lighting the bathroom sink provides. I like how they have brought in vendors little events here in there in the past but have noticed it has slowly decline wish we could continue with small community events

Living at Tacara has been good, we love all the amenities and how close we are to all the great dining in this area. Our favorite part of Tacara is how beautiful it is at the pool in the evening time.

The people working with me to get my apartment and lease were great. The property and amenities are perfect for my needs. Best of all is the location, close to everything I use and easy access to the loop. I found that the rent was the best deal of all surrounding properties.

It has been a good first-apartment experience. Beautiful amenities and living space!! There were a few issues in the beginning with service requests. Our ice maker was not working and then when maintenance came out, we came home to a broken freezer and all defrosted food. The office had our freezer fixed and reimbursed us for the food, but our ice maker was still never fixed. There were also other service requests that were never taken care of. Besides this, it has been a good experience.

They had Great communication through out the entire application process. And they were very helpful with any questions I had via email or phone call.

I had a frustrating move-in experience, being told we could move in at a certain time and having to wait over an hour while they "cleaned" the apartment and vented the paint smell present from their last minute cover-ups on the walls. When we finally gained access, it was clear that it hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned to the "Greystar Standard" they claimed. Multiple fixtures including the primary bathroom's shower knob and our front door deadbolt were installed incorrectly - the knob fell off, and the deadbolt is just barely engaged when closed. Our dryer's vent wasn't installed properly, which we found out by going to check the laundry and arriving to a *sauna* in our kitchen. There's a fun buzzing sound from our HVAC that i look forward to finding out the cause of... The unit itself is great. I'm excited about the amenities, and I'm hopeful that this place will live up to what we were led to expect after these initial issues are fixed, but that first 24 hours was atrocious.

Everything with Tacara Apartments has always gone smooth and fast! Absolutely love it! Everyone is super friendly and super respectful. Will always recommend this community.

It is awesome. Everything is modern inside of our apartment and we love the under glow lights. Pool area is very nice especially in the night.

We’ve been here about 6 weeks or so now and love it here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. We love sitting on the balcony watching the dogs in the dog park. Very nice community!

Tacara is a great community to live at! We’ve been here 5 years and just renewed our lease. If you are looking to rent in this area, check out Texans Westpointe The property is kept up well, the front office is friendly and helpful with any concerns, the apartments are beautiful!

We’ve loved living here so far! All the finishes are so nice and really appreciate the attention to floor plan and storage. Immaculate community and fantastic staff!!

I love that the area is so quiet and there’s so many friendly residence. The amenities for the dogs like the spaw and doggy park are great! I also love the Hydro massage after a dip in the pool or work out at the gym.

Past reviews were great. Not so much now. Swimming pools never monitored; anyone & everyone seems to be welcomed into a private-gated complex. If you don’t want to pay for amenities that the public can use, I’d recommend renting elsewhere.

Beautiful property! Moved in about 6 weeks ago and have had a pleasant experience so far. Love the amenities! Stephanie in the front office is awesome! She is very friendly and quick to answer questions/concerns and work orders are completed in a timely manner.
