The community is not tight nit like people think! Is not secure but, it's of community people that barely know each other. We are here feeling like numbers the rent keeps going up and as usual things get fixed on their time.

Luckily for me, I could see the apartment before making the decision. At move-in, the apartment is NICE and CLEAN!! No sloppy work, no old equipment, no dirt on the floor. So I am delighted! Word of advise: ALWAYS look at your apartment before signing the lease!

I've been here for 1 week. The moment I entered my apartment, there was tons of water in the hallway, laundry room, and bedroom carpet. Water damage was clearly visible on the walls, floors, and ceiling. Apparently this was due to an issue with the upstairs neighbors washing machine. Maintenance was able to come the day of and dry the floors, remove the wet carpet, and place a dehumidifier in the laundry room/walls. The carpet folks entirely replace the ruined carpet within a few days, so full kudos to them. Other than that, I have had zero communication as to when the damage will be repaired. The wood is so warped at the baseboards the bedroom door does not shut. The shower drain was not working day 1. I put in a maintenance request immediately. It has been over a week, and again no communication. If a simple clogged drain takes over a week, I am not looking forward to how long it is going to take to fix the water damage. I should not have to harass the front desk to get any traction on maintenance requests, which is the only way I've gotten any response for anything. They advertise a "luxury living experience" and provide anything but. I do not understand how these issues were not seen before I moved in. From speaking with neighbors my unit was vacant for quite some time. I can give them the benefit of the doubt that the leak may have occurred the day I moved in or soon before, but a clogged drain should have been spotted during a simple inspection of the unit before move in. The only conclusions I can come to are pure negligence, malice, or incompetence. I also had my Amazon package stolen. Spend your money else where.

The people in the office are very professional. The apartment complex is very quiet and comfortable. It has a very nice view of the golf course

Going downhill daily. Gate is always broken. No security what so ever. Large tree branches down and never cleaned up. People hanging laundry on the balcony that gets blown down and never picked up. People grilling on their 3rd floor balcony, major fired hazard and nobody does anything.

I've lived at Talavera Apartments for about 3 years now. Love the community feeling. Maintenance is very fast and very friendly. They are not very good about answering their phone or returning calls, but there is always someone in the office to talk to or discuss any issues with. Overall, a great place to live.

Pests inside units. Feral cats around the property. Dog poop everywhere. Non working gates. Non-existent parking lines. Rude leasing office staff.

I have been here seven months now and still enjoy living here. I find this complex is a hidden gem here in San Antonio. I find both office and maintenance to be exceptional. I would absolutely recommend the Talavera complex to everyone.

I like the area of the apartments, there is a gym, works 24/7, unfortunately not enough fresh air there, the pool area is open from 10am. Good area for bbq and golf
I really like the central location. The maintenance staff are friendly and very good at getting to the orders as quickly as they can. The property does have water shut offs quite a bit but it seems they are working on that. Lots of mature trees and an attractive property. Some crime but that's just about everywhere. The neighbors I have met are very nice.
Cheap apartments that are pricey for what you get. I would go somewhere else for sure. You would pay the same but get a way better place. the inside of the apartments are super cheap
Durante los 4 años que vive en Talavera Pkwy, me sentí muy cómodo, el personal de mantenimiento es muy profesional, el personal administrativo existen personas muy especiales y humanas. Vivir en 107 Talavera Pkwy es vivir tranquilo, aunque desde el año 2023 llegaron varios sujetos que se creen los dueños del complejo, haciendo fiestas en el estacionamiento y barbacoas en la calle, no respetan el descanso de los residentes.

I've lived at Talavera for about 5 months now. I really love it hear.The office staff is always so friendly and helpful. And maintenance takes care of any requests quickly. I'm so happy to live here.
We haven't been at Talavera for long yet, but so far the experience has been all positive. The unit itself is lovely, the price is reasonable, the maintenance crew are both efficient and friendly (which we've lived enough places in San Antonio to know you're never guaranteed either trait), and the front office staff have been so helpful throughout the process.
When we first moved in we were very excited about the apartment and the area. It seems like after a year and half it has taken a turn. The office staff sometimes has an attitude when you address a complaint and it’s hard to reach them by phone. Our unit itself has been great as well as our neighbors. The mail room with thieves taking mail has been stressful. Between the post office and the office management it seems like there is no progress in resolving. The office told me I should just go buy a PO Box which was frustrating being residents shouldn’t have to pay additional money to properly receive mail.

Very attentive, helpful and kind. My roommate and I were looking for our first apartment, and were welcomed with the utmost hospitality and assistance.
Nice place to live, especially since they’ve been fixing things up. Gate is finally fixed and they’ve painted doors and stair rails. I like they do food trucks, community sales and get-togethers. Maintenance is pretty quick and efficient

this has been the worst place i’ve lived. i’ve had to call emergency maintenance 3 times in a month. as i type this my water isn’t working when i put in my notice of leaving in 30 days. yeah. that says enough.
Love my apartment location! Apartment has a wrap around patio on a corner, neighborhood is quiet, neighbors are friendly. Maintenance is fast and very kind. Only problem is that I was promised laminate flooring when I signed my lease but the apartment has carpet....that is now old enough to be replaced. But now they won't replace the carpet while I am still living in the apartment. So, I'll need to move out so they will take out carpet and put in laminate flooring. Then I will need to sign a new lease with higher rent. Other than the carpet issue, I love my apartment.
It's loud. Especially if you live in building 1. People listen to their music at the pool at such high levels you can hear it 3 buildings away. The loud music is especially nice at 1:00 am when you have to work the next day. ?? Dumpsters are overflowing on a regular basis. Zero security.
One issue is there are some that don't care about the condition of the property. There is trash, dog poop, broken glass, sharp metal from being ground up by the mowers, and cigarette butts about the property. There are some apartments that have hundreds of cigarette butts lying on the ground off the patios/balcony that have been there for months. Also, this property does not have any playground or fenced areas for dogs. Residents want these things. There was a survey sent out asking residents if they would be willing to pay more in rent if these things were added. Um, no. We already pay more in rent for having pets and the rents here are comparable to other properties in the area that do have these amenities. Nice try with the wording of the survey though. Another suggestion is to address the erosion around the buildings, which will result in foundation problems and exposes several underground conduits with wiring exposed.

Roaches infested, toilet in master bed constantly runs and vent above the toilet exposed with debris on the floor and top of toilet. The staff in the main office are great and deserve better. The maintenance is lacking from my understanding. I went in the day after we informed them and nothing was changed. The day of our lease signing, a tenant was in the main office complaining about her toilet not working for 2 weeks...was a giant warning sign that i unfortunately ignored.

Dirty buildings, very limited amenities, not luxury, not a gated community, trash service inconsistent, but you are forced to pay it. Etc, etc. I would have skip community if I would known all multiple issues, outdated apartments with no luxury interior, interiors are fine,but not luxury as advertise.
We love it here! It’s quiet, and the apartments are beautiful inside and out. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. We have been very excited to move here, and it hasn’t disappointed!

There is ZERO security. Not a safe place to live. Security cameras don't work. Security gate doesn't work. No security that patrols the complex.
Great community. Have been here close to 8 years. This most recent management company has been great. The updates in paint and response to maintenance request are great.
I moved here recently and have enjoyed it so far. Staff has been helpful. The community is nice for walks. There are lots of trees, which I like. It's centrally located with shopping and dining near by. Easy access to major roads. I first lived here over 20 years ago and the property is still nice. Some of the workout equipment is needing to be replaced as it is worn. Some residents are not picking up after their dogs, so watch where you step. Maintenance is friendly and helpful. Trash pick up is not so great. I don't like paying for bad service. Trash pick up is contracted, so may need to find a better company.
I lived at Legends on the Green a few years ago and just loved it! Came back and now in Talavera. Absolutely love the fireplace and the huge sliding door and views!
One of the best properties I've ever lived at. The parking here for me is great. The unit is great and I like the area that I'm in. This place feels like home.
The staff and community here at Talavera Apartments are so polite and friendly. I’ve been here 6 years and, when I first moved in, I instantly felt at home. The pool is gorgeous with a beautiful view and the grounds are very well kept. Any time I need assistance, I’m greeted with an enthusiastic and willing person. I’m also in love with my floor plan. It’s spacious and comfortable.

The price may be competitive how ever they take months to fill any work orders and that's with constant requesting. Management flat out ignores any situation and refuses to call back. When ever you go to the office to speak to a manger they are always gone or in a meeting. This is a true shame these apartments could be phenomenal were it not for the incompetent and lazy management. Staff ladies in the office are good how ever they are unable to do anything with out manager approval.
