Property Ratings at Tall Pines Apartments
This is my honest opinion as a 5 year tenant here at Tall Pines. basically you get what you pay for.The crime,The disrepect for where we all live overall is horrible and I'm not sure why Henderson Webb allowed dogs now, because the trifling people that drop trash allover place will walk thier dogs and allow them to take a dump right in parking lot next to cars has no intention on picking up thier dog litter.Thats a joke to them. Not to mention the kids play in the grass area and there is tons of poop there now.SMH I could go on and on about other negative things that I guess Henderson Webb has no control over.Overall it could be a great place to live and definitely the most affordable around but I cant wait to move out.I seriously cant take it anymore.
1. Walls are super thin and you can hear everything around you. I live on the first floor and my neighbors on top of me have 2 small children and all i hear is them running back and forth and screaming at all hours of the night. 2. The crime is high there. I personally haven't got hurt there but if you get mixed up with the wrong people...you will have trouble. Just yesterday i pulled in from work and there were tons of cops because two men got shot. There has probably been 3-4 shootings there in the last year and half I've lived there. Also the first 3 months i lived there..some druggie was passed out against my door and the cops were pounding at my door at 12AM to ask if this guy lived him. My neighbors must of called them and complained because i had no idea he was there. My neighbors that live in my building are okay and don't have much trouble from them but the neighborhood as a whole isn't great at all. The prices to live there are cheap but not worth it. I have a 6 year old child and i dont want my child around that crime. I am getting out of here once my lease is up!!
I just moved out from this apartment complex. The front office is great and maintenance is helpful and fixes your problems quick as possible. The only few problems I had is that I am not a smoker and everyone around smokes cigarettes inside the apartments when it's bad weather and always entered my apartment. I suggest you ask to get on the third floor because walls are very thin and you can hear everything. I had an issue with the tenants grandchildren running and jumping up and down all the way until midnight. I sent in three noise complaints management does nothing but send a letter and the tenant ignored those letters. If you want to save money you get what you pay for, get on the third floor to deal with less drama. All management needs to find ways to enforce no smoking inside the apartments and a way to solve noise complaints other than sending a letter that takes 10 days to be recieved and the place would be perfect!
We moved here in May 2017 and since that day it has been a terrible experience. They started on the first day that we were supposed to move in, we had already packed our belongings in the U Haul truck and were on the way. They called and told us that they had gave away the appartment that they promised us. They gave us keys and told us to walk and find our on avialible apartment. After finding one that was decent, after two months mold appeared and there was damage to the foundation. They refused to move me and my kids to better environment until we reached six months, so that way we could transfer under their terms. They finally moved us to another apartment with a roach and bed bug infestation that is still going on to this day. The front door to the building is broken and they refuse to fix it. There are always a group of guys sitting in the hallway, and in front of the building that do not live there. It has come to point that I dont even complain any more, because they are never take care of the problem. WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX I HAVE EVER LIVED IN IN MY LIFE!!! DONT DO IT!!!
If you need a place to stay and don't want to pay to much money it's OK. The apartments are older and could do with some upgrades (light futures, appliances , etc.) Maintenance could also be better at responding to emergency calls (water under the carpet, etc.) as well as the response from the main office when you send them a letter. One other thing, this is something that the apartment complex isn't really responsible for but reflects badly on the complex; police and ambulance services almost every weekend because of domestic fights, yelling in the roads, fires in the apartments and so on.
