As its name suggests, North Bossier is a neighborhood spanning north of Downtown Bossier along the eastern banks of the Red River. The community also sits 14 miles north of Downtown Shreveport since Shreveport and Bossier City’s downtown districts are just minutes from one another. The area is a mix of residential and rural, getting more rural the farther north of Downtown Bossier City you get. Amenity-laden apartments and cozy single-family homes make up the rental options of North Bossier. While shopping and dining choices are readily available in both downtown areas, more shopping and dining destinations are located within North Bossier itself along Airline Drive.

Property Ratings at Tallowwood Apartments
I moved here in 2017 and was eager to leave. I have lived in two different units and have had problems with ants, flies, roaches and pill bugs. When maintenance would fix things my items (cleaning products, towels, tissue etc.) were continuously used and when informing management, nothing was done even if I had evidence and word from other tenants battling the same issue. I even went as far as to move the items away from the damaged area and unscrew the caps to ensure no one used them. Sure enough, I returned to the caps being screwed back on and the product not being where I had left it. You could even smell that it had been used to clean a mess maintenance made. Moved in the second apartment in January and have had a horrible smell from the garbage disposal. Management refused to fix and continuously "forgot" to tell maintenance. I have filed several work orders and called corporate to not get an answer nor a call back. Had two leaks which the walls remairned unfixed one month later. I have had it with the disrespect and do not recommend living here. Finally moved after fighting to be let out of my lease. Never have experienced such horrible living. Management is trash
It's ok. I guess. Wish they had cameras since it is a pretty huge apartment complex. Seem like everyday there's construction (been that way since I moved in just about) so no quiet time on off days. Maintenance is pretty amazing tho. They always resolved my issues.
They have no respect for other's time. They are very rude people as well. I would never move here.
My apt experience has been disappointing to say the least. I have been having issues with my apartment since day 1 and maintenance has taken care of every issue in a quick manner but the fact that I have had so many issues in this one little apt has me wanting to go elsewhere.
Traffic getting in and out is bad due to Airline Dr. This will continue to get worse. The apartments aren't worth the money you pay. However they are convient to a lot of things. So around here that is what you pay for convienence.
I'm currently in the Air Force stationed in Louisiana and I've lived here for over 3 years now. I haven't had any major issues. The staff is awesome and very friendly and if I ever had any maintenance problems it's usually fixed by the end of the day! Neighbors are quiet and extremely nice! Would definitely recommend
These apartments are convenient, economic and spacious for the cost! They are close to shopping, restaurants, parks and more importantly the casinos!! I don't hear any road noise and my electric bills have been great compared to previous apartments I have stayed at. I have lived here for the past year and have never had any problems and when minor things needed fixing, it was repaired within the day I reported it. The office staff are always available and willing to help! Don't forget the free coffee in the mornings!!
