The example pictures are misleading. They did a poor job get my apartments ready, the area stinks, and I had to kill roaches and files the very first minute I walked into my apartment. I wouldn't recommend anyone move here.

Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. Your feedback matters and we hope we can speak with you directly. Please give us a call when you have a moment.
I lived here for 2 years while attending graduate school and enjoyed it. There was the occasional bug... but whenever I saw one I immediately called for pest control and they took care of it. It wasn't the fanciest, but it was clean, safe, and it did the job. I would live here again.

Hello! Thank you so much for taking the time to share this feedback. We are so happy you feel this way about your time spent here. We're glad you would choose to live here again!
Absolute the worst apartment ever! Had 4 leaks that resulted in the master bedroom being flooded, lost of a cabinet, broken door because of the flood, damaged wall and mold. I asked dozens of times to have my carpet cleaned and Denise kept delaying it until new management took over. Once that happened I had to get it done by myself. The carpet needs to be replaced after 3+ years and they refuse to do it. Because of the new management the way to pay rent changed. Between Denise and Cindy they would not processed the money orders in time and added on $100 for multiple months without notice. I currently have $400 in late fees that I just found out about and my rent was paid on time every month.
The Management never informs residents about any work on the property. They have changed my mailbox key, moved things on my porch and done construction outside my apartment all without calling or sending an email. If they do give notice it is always by attaching a piece of paper to the apartment door. They once changed how they accepted payment and didn't inform anyone. So, I was almost evicted (with no notice) because my autopay didn't go through. In the end, we were charged a hundred dollar late fee because they changed the system. Maintenance work is terrible. Our fridge broke, they got us a new one that is too big and blocks our laundry room door. Their solution was to remove the cabinet above the fridge. When we said "no, we use that cabinet" their solution became to cut off some of the cabinet above the fridge. Then, the fridge was still too deep but they just left it like that. Now, I have to the violently pull laundry room door open to get it past the giant fridge. Also, our front door doesn't latch right, they replaced the door instead of fixing the framing, so it still doesn't latch right. Overall, unsafe, mismanaged and all held together by duct tape. If you can afford to live somewhere else, you should.
This apartments are infested with roaches and the apartment manager refused to do anything about it. This problem has been express the management numerous of times. Pest control will have to come out of your pocket. The floors are uneven and you can clearly feel it when you walk especially in the downstairs apartments. The only reason I will give them a 2 star rating is because the maintenance crew is hard working and try to fix what is within their scope. The property manager and others in the front office are rude and quick to close front office before posted office hours. I don't recommend this property to anyone.
This is such a great place to live! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and maintenance is always quick to respond and get resolution. I love my little 2-bedroom apartment here! It's clean and very homey. I have to say though, the absolute BEST thing about this place is Miss Cyndee in the office. She has been one of the constants in my years here, and she is such a wonderful person. I would recommend this apartment complex to anybody!

Thank you for your awesome review. We will continue to make the Tamarind Community a friendly environment that everyone LOVES calling....HOME!
Just a heads up to those thinking of renting here: the people are very nice, and helpful, but the contract has no escape clause, for any reason- buying out the lease will run you ~2 months rent.

Hi there, Thank you for the review. I'm sorry you feel this way, please come to the office or call us at (803)256-2143.
My husband and I moved here In August. Cindee was one of the deciding factors for moving here. She is very personable and excellent at her job. She made us feel at home the very first time we met. We were undecided about where to move so we came by this properry to view a second time and she won us over. We love living here and Cindee is an outstanding asset to this properry. Any questions or concerns that we have she resolves inmediately. We would most definitely recommend this properry to family/friends. Audrey & Jerry Williams
The apartments themselves are mediocre. I have had a few negative incidents with the management staff involving inconsistencies with the rent ledgers. the maintenance staff is extremely willing to help with things within their scopes. Overall a positive experience.
Roach infested, bad management and poor care of the property! !!
My apartment is in a nice area but overall not exactly what I expected .
